Sri Gur Sobha by Poet Sainapati is one of my favourite books on Guru history. 'Ashtavakra Geeta', 'Yoga Sutra' are favourite books on mysticism.

In Punjabi, I love poetry books. My favourite poets are Bhai Veer Singh, Pooran Singh and Prof. Mohan Singh. All the poetry books by them are my favourite. :)

In days of my 'javaani' :D , I loved poetry by Shiv Kumar Batalvi. I still love his poetry, but now I do not read them repeatidly as I read other books. When I was in college, I memorised his whole book of 'Peerhaan Da Paraaga'. :D I was then 'Munda-Khunda'. :D

Selling Spirituality: The Silent Takeover of Religion

Jeremy Carrette, Richard King

Anyone who has heard of deepak chopra, osho etc. should read this book, it uncovers many of the underlying assumptions we as people living in a consumerist society make of "spirituality" - how orginal traditions are distorted and repackaged to provide a soothing balm to the overworked executive.
