I think Maharaj ji put "ikongkar" on a leaf and did pakarima around 4 times.

Maharaj ji parents wanted to do traditional hindu style marriage, guru maharaj ji refused it and put "ikongkar" on a leaf and did pakarima around 4 times.

That's what i heard by the way, i don't know if this sakhi exist in historical granths.

Das read this that soeone was joking about Sant Gurbachan Singh Ji Bhindrawale at Taponban.org.

It was said that Sant Ji said that Guru wrote Japu Ji Sahib and then circumvented it.

He said that Sant Ji said first time did Guru wrote Japuji Sahib.

das thinks that it was not first time but as Guru rembered the Bani so Bani as Esht was to be deemed so Guru perhaps did wrote Japuji Sahib to let it be first Sikh wedding for Guru but recitiing of Japuji Sahib could not be meden or first.
