Since you have chosen to make this public, then I will post up some info for the other forum users. Forum Users As everyone here is aware Narsingha has been puting his 'sanatan' Sikhism views for some time. Whenever any of the Sikhs have tried to counter his views, his usual reply is that that person is a 'egotist' 'spoon fed' and 'brainwashed' 'British Sikh' whatever that is. He has also challenged other Sikhs such as Inderjit Singh and lately Sukh Singh to meet him at the Akhara. His reply to Inderjit Singh was pretty threatening "I assume you the same individual who turned up at the Holla Mohalla tournament organised by Boota Singh earlier this year and insulted Nihang Niddar Singh in private. However, when you were asked politely to repeat your comments in public (while facing a camera) and refute Sanatan Sikhi and Shastar Vidiya with any evidence of your own, you ran off?" Narsingha has a long history of issuing such challenges. He has issued similar challenges to myself both here and at Sikh-history forum where I am a moderator. His first challenge referred to that fact that 'Guru Gobind Singh use to want to see his Singhs engaged in combat'. As such it is pretty clear that his challenges carry a threat. I have accepted his challenges as I believe that he is just a fustrated 'soorma in his own lunchtime' hiding behind a keyboard. His reply to my acceptance of his challenge just highlights this further. Rather than meet at his Akhara I have challenged him to meet me personally. As it has been clear to me from his first challenge that he thinks he can brow beat anyone countering his 'sanatan' Sikhism by asking that person to meet him at the Akhara. Niskaam Sevak Jatha Panth? ...it seems mainstream Sikhi is doing a pretty good job of splitting itself up without the Sanatan Sikh getting involved. r k Posted July 23, 2003 Report Share Posted July 23, 2003 Remember sant jarnail singh bhindranwale words.. he was never favour of khalistan nor he was against it. n30, sant jee said he's neither for nor against khalistan, but he wanted a place in which sikhs wouldn't be oppressed -- he wanted sikhs to be free, without being treated as slaves -- and as far as i'm concerned, india isn't exactly the place where sikhs have been free -- they've been oppressed since they first asked for freedom the idea of khalistan wasn't started by 'fanatics' in 1947 when the Muslim League was given Pakistan, Gandhi & Nehru promised the Sikhs their own land, if the Sikhs would help the Hindus build India back to its original strength. The idea of Khalistan started THEN - because the Muslims were a minority and they received their own land, and just as the Sikhs were a minority, they deserved their own land too... Nehru and Gandhi never kept their promises, and hate crimes against Sikhs continued. 1984 was the height of all baysharmi by the government, apart from the attacks on the golden temple, hundreds of thousands of people were killed, imprisioned, raped, beat up, etc., (and i've read that number was in an encycopedia..) india's also been known to have killed millions of other non-hindus -- christians, buddhists, muslims, and so on.. sant jee may not have been for or against khalistan, but he did want sikhs to be free from oppression, and i don't see that happening in india... But i can’t see all this false info going around. Sant Jarnail Singh Ji Khalsa clearly states and if u ever meet any off the old Taksali Singhs or the Saint Soldiers who fought in the jathas back home, they will clearly tell u Sant Ji stood for only Sikhi and justice. Sant Ji in his tapes clearly says that: "IF SRI HARMANDIR SAHIB IS ATTACKED THE FOUNDATION STONE OF KHALISTAN WILL BE LAID" We have to understand that Sant Ji as a Sikh stood with the Panth he didnt go against the wishes of the Panth, he took part fully in the struggle to get our demands 2 be meet peacfully, but when asked about his view on khalistan he gave his view to the press that of a sikh who is part of a Panth it was not the panth's aim to create a Independent State then. But after the attack the we had no other option to exercise our right to selfdefence. The Singhs and Singhnia after 1984 carried out wishes and still carry on the Dharam Yudh, singhs like Bhai Manvir Singh ji, Bhai Swarnjeet Singh, Bhai Gurdev Singh Usmanwalla, Baba Gurbhachan Singh Manochahal, Jathadar Avtar Singh Brahma, General Labh Singh, Bhai Harjinder Singh Jinda, Bhai Sukdev Singh Sukha Bibi Manjit Kaur, Bibi Resham Kaur who were puran Gursikhs who lived sikhi in a practical form. These Dharmi singhs and Singhnia stood out like beacons of light for me when growing up. If we really love Sikhi and our beautifully history we wouldnot bad mouth these Gursikhs or any other Gursikhs who stood with the Panth in our hour off need. Would we call Baba Gurbaskh Singh the second Jathadar of the DamiDami Taksal (which is all so started by Guru Ji)a coward?? Because he stayed in the Akal Takhat then he and his jatha of 19 Singhs fought the mughals and gained shaheedi defending Sri Akal Takhat, would we call Sukha Singh and Methab Singh terrorists for bring to justice massa rangar??? these beautiful petals are our blood and soul that’s what makes me proud. Yea we all got stories of other so-called Sikhs killing innocent ppl and things happening which are against Sikhi, i cant and will not justify them, i agree things went badly wrong after 1989 but lets not condemn the WHOLE movement.
