The Samadh of Maharaja Ranjit Singh

This clip gives a brief glimpse of the Samadh (Tomb) of Ranjit Singh as it was in 1988.

You can see the Urns containing part of the ashes of Ranjit Singh and 11 of his wives who committed 'Sati' and were cremated with him. You also get a brief glimpse of the intricate ceilings.

The Urns have been 'removed' quite recently as mentioned in one of Amandeep Madra Bhai Sahib's posts;
