chatanga Posted April 26, 2007 Author Report Share Posted April 26, 2007 the story of anoop kaur is as folows and the gurmukhs can correct any mistakes. once a band of sikhs were travelling to see Guru Gobbind Singh and they were attacked by 4 moghals/robbers. In this battle a bibi called Anoop Kaur drew her kirpan and killed a moghul/robber. The sikhs onreaching Guru ji told him what hapned and they asked Guru ji is it right what Anoop Kaur did. Guru Ji said yes and blessed her for defedning herself. The kirpan is there for defecne, why do only men have the riht to defend themselves? Cant women have this right?
