Waheguru ji ka Khalsa, Waheguru ji ki fateh.

i would like to know what scholars and brahm gians of Gurmat think of the 5 khands mentioned in Japji sahib.

Most people would regard it as spirituel levels of man, but in its literal meaning it talks about the world and universes. how is this to be understood according to Guru Nanaks philosophy?

i have come across different views on this variyng from rejection of it being spiritual levels, - the khands just being world besides this, and other authors such as daljeet singh who reject Sach Khand as being accesable for human souls..
