"I would side withe Muslims than Hindus anyday ,I would never side with e gangu brahmin -Hindu,Muslims in Pakistan take care of Sikh Gurdwaras, not like in Hindustan where they get bombed.

Lahore Pakistan is the birthplace of Sikhism,a place where right now Muslims are taking care of our Gurdwaras, don't forget peer budhu shah, and other Muslims helped Sikhs more than any Hindus ever did,In Maharajah Ranjit Singhs got ministers were Muslims, generals were Muslims, but who messed it up ,THE HINDUS,the dogras, makes me sick how Sikhs have blind hate for Muslims and blind love for the Hindus who oppress them"

Veera, your right to say that many Sikhs do tend to have ignorent and stereotypical hate for Muslims, but many also have the same blind hate for Hindus - such as yourself.

Neither is right, as I keep banging on, jugde a person and not a nation.

People seem to learn nothing from Gurbani.

Pakistans seva is not that great - aside from a few tourist-money spinning Gurdwarai i.e. Nankana Sahib, many other "hundreds" of Gurdwarai have been looted, demolished, turned into cow shelters where animals do their jungle-pani, land stolen etc..

I know someone who actually went and saw Gurdwarai away from the tourist trail ( around 5 years ago), it broke his heart.

Pakistani see Sikh shrines as $ only, nothing else (I'm talking of the majority and the Government - not all people).

on that note, before partition, nankana sahib had soo much land that you could build two towns out of that land, all that is been taken over by soo called muslim fanatics.

It's not incorrect, do some homework and speak to some people who have actually seen more than 5 gurdwarai in Pakistan.

They will be giving 2500 acres of land, how generous, the sam eland they looted inteh 1st place. Nanakana Sahib used to have so much land, that when standing at the gurdwara, all that the naked eye could see in every direction was the Gurdwara land.

My mother visited there over 10 years ago, yes there are some nice Pakistani who do seva, but most are extremely poor particularly in the Nanakana sahib vicinty, we'll see what happens to them once the "commercialisation of this once beautiful Gurdwara in calm and natural surroundings goes ahead.

The Uni will be independent and international, who do you think is gong to pay for it? And who do you think is going to benefit from it??

Turning an ancient site into a high earning tourist city means nothing.

In case you didn't know, there is also going to be huge housing projects and huge shopping malls for the "Sikh" tourists, run for the benefit of our Pakistani brothers.

Show me that the other 200+ shrines in Pakistan are being preserved then may be I will take your Pakistan love affair seriously.

Also try and take note of the regular violent fanatical Gurdwara and Gurdwara land grabbing stories from Pakistani news. Somehting which the Government watch and do nothing about.

Well I am not going to stoop down to your level. It is seems the moderators find it ok to have this beetlejuice abuse people on this forum. Fair enough. I get the message.

No Beetlejuice I am not trying to convert people. If you read my posts carefully you'd know but maybe you have a problem with your reading skills.

Khoda Hafez.

please settle you differences with an old fashioned shoot out or something.

All i can say is that Javanmard is putting his side of Sikhi across to the public and is free to do so. So his Sikhi has an islamic influence. I dont care.

I see it as no different to the type of Sikhi that Niddar Singh and the Sanatan Sikhs put across to the public. It is just Sikhi influenced by Hinduism.

Sikhi is as many people have pointed out a broad and diverse faith. Ones views will differ from that of another.

One should stop this bickering and understand that no matter what one learns the whole point is to meditate in this lifetime and become one with the Lord through love and devotion. If that be you take Sikhi with a slant of Hinduism or Islam.

Now i can stop sounding like a parent and get back to watching the Smallville!!!!!

No Beetlejuice I don't want to make you Shi'a:

1. You have your sanatan Sikh tradition which is fine

2. Shi'ism is more an intellectual faith, really wouldn't suit you

3. Shi'ism is too classy for you. You wouldn't feel at easy with educated people.
