    • Avoid eating fried food stuffs and junk foods such as hot dogs, pizza and burger.
    • Eat Yogurt in each day diets if possible.
    • Eat more in day but less in night; however most of us do it reversely.
    • Avoid over eating in especially in parties.
    • Avoid soft drink, as these usually contain chemicals used for long preservation and high sugar.
    • Never avoid eating fats as unsaturated fats and oils are useful for assimilation of vitamins such as Vitamin K and Vitamin E.
    • If facing acidity, eat alkaline foods.
    • Take physical exercises daily: Run 15 minutes daily to keep you fit and fine, if your health does not allow running, then take a walk for 30 minutes daily. 2. Almonds have hot (garm) nature, but when eaten after putting in water for some hours, their nature is reversed. During summer days, almonds are eaten in Thandai, a drink. Around 20 to 50 almonds, five table spoons of Khaskhas (Poppy Seeds), two table spoons of Saunf (Aniseed), five to six Elaichi (Green Cordamom) are placed in a cup of fresh water for an hour or two. After sieving, peel off almonds, grind all these ingredients in a grinder. Add sufficient water, ice cubes, and sugar to it. Mix it well and drink in after noon. It cools you and your mind too.

In winter almonds are used to make Punjabi pinnies. Almond oil is used to massage scalp skin. The oil is rich in Vitamin A. Roasted almonds are also good for health as they contain proteins. Elderly people must eat handful of almonds daily, it increases their age positively.

  3. Natural hairs on our head, eyebrows, eyelashes, beard, mustaches and other parts of body are quite useful assets of us. These are incredible part of our gorgeous look and hair styles. Our aesthetic beauty entirely depends on the hairs. These hairs are very valuable for Sikh people as well as people of all other races living all over the world. Amritdhari Sikhs never cut these hairs, as the Sikh religion does not allow cutting, putting, and burning of any hair of their body. Even Amritdhar Sikh women and girls cannot go for threading on their eyebrows. They should not undergo plucking to put unnecessary hairs from their body. Spiritually hairs are considered similar to tongues that help us for reciting and remembering God's name according to Gurubani. Gurbani says ਸਾਬਤ ਸੂਰਤ ਰੱਬ ਦੀ ਭੰਨੇ ਬੇਈਮਾਨ, (ਆਖਿਰ ਰੱਬ ਨੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਅਪਣੇ ਵਰਗੀ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਸਾਬਤ ਸੂਰਤ ਬਖਸ਼ੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਸਨੂੰ ਬੇਈਮਾਨ ਬੰਦੇ ਭੰਨ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ !) means, the God has given us his own perfect look with hairs and some individuals do not care it. Sikh, who cuts his /her hairs on head, beard, mustaches, eyebrows, and other parts of body, is really a dishonest individual. Moreover, he/she is not a Sikh according to Gurubani.

Nature has given hairs to all mammals to protect their body from harmful influences of environment. Hairs on our body prevent bacteria, viruses, and dust from entering into our body. Hairs on beard and mustaches are masculine features of male Sikhs. Philosophically, as Several Sikh Gurus and Saints say, each hair on our body is similar to our tongue that helps our eternal soul to recite the God's name while worshipping the Almighty. Hairs start reciting the God's name automatically while reciting it through tongue during extreme position of worship.

Sikhs must have to respect their hair and always cover their head hairs with Turban or Dupatta. They are not allowed to wear caps and hats. Bhai Taru Singh, was such a Keshdhari Sikh whose head hairs were not cut by scissors of Muslim authority during seventeenth century. Bhai Taru Singh was a Sikh Saint who runs Langar at his Gurudwara. Dara Shikoh, Auranzeb's brother, was hidden at the Gurudwara that was not in notice of Bhai Taru Singh. Bhai Taru Singh was arrested for allegedly helping Dara Shikoh. He had said that any individual of any region could live in our Gurudwara and eat Langar. Bhai Turu Singh was asked to adopt Muslim religion during his imprisonment. He had refused to do so. Zakaira Khan then had given order to cut Bhai Taru Singh's hairs. The scissors could not cut the hairs. The Khan then ordered to cut his scalp with hairs. Bhai Taru Singh said to Khan that his (Bhai Taru Singh) shoe would fetch him (Khan) to Dargah of Allah. Bhai Turu Singh's spoken words were turned to be true after his death. Khan had got uninery problem. Some urine was disposed when the shoe of Bhai Taru Sahib was hit violently on Khan's head. After some days due to frequent hitting on head, Khan left his body. 5. If you are facing anemia it may be possible that you would face hair loss. Iron is a useful element that is necessary for production of haemoglobin, a protein, in our red blood cells. Haemoglobin is quite important to fix oxygen in our lungs and transport it to all cells of our body. Hair follicles that produce hair are affected by Iron deficiency. Iron could be taken as iron supplements through medical supervision or by eating iron rich foods such as spinache, apple, raisins, beans, and lentils.

To increase iron absorption in your body eat vitamin C rich foods such as, lemon, aamla, orange, kinoo, mango, pineapple, papaya, strawberries, and bell peppers.

I think it would help you.

  6. Thanks for sharing the information for sugar control in our body. I would try it. Walking, jogging and running is also good exercises to control sugar levels in our blood. Our comfortable lifestyle is quite responsible for it. We must control sugar level in blood as soon as possible because it could harm our brain cells, kidneys, and eyes too.
