He came to my dad's friend's house, when I was a little child. Even though, I knew nothing about him since I didn't watch or listen to his DvD's, I sensed some falseness about him when he came. He lacked a spiritual vibe, which I expected him to have as he was called "Sant". I was quite disappointed and was thinking he could be a fake Sant.

However, on the other hand, when Giani Thakur Singh Ji came to our house, I was still a child and never listened to him, I sensed spiritual vibes around him. He seemed like an honest preacher.

May be you were too young to sense any vibes at such an early stage of his development. He is a Sant let no one doubt it. He has that special halo that surrounds his head which glows from miles and people congregate everywhere he goes. They just want to touch him for blessings. I think he is a great mystic with enormous wisdom and class. In my view, he is still quite young which causes a lot of jealousy among the old and the wicked.

Don’t forget Mr. Giyanni is a portly figure which can be taken for being very fatherly for a young child.

No, this is because Monogamy allows the best Women to monopolize the small minority of men worth marrying. So middling women have no options,

A combination of Honor Killing & Polygamy would solve this issue, although obviously this post won't get apporved by the homosexuals who moderate this "forum"

Which small minority would it be? I hope it doesn’t comprise you? There is no ‘best’ either unless you are referring to your old school headmistress, lol! You have to be bonking mad, reallly need your head examined by a  top mentalist!

White men dont have balls to do shit

Surely, Sikh men have GREAT BIG BALLS TO BEAT DEFENCELESS HELPLESS WOMEN why would God bother to muck up our planet earth any further?

In my view, the man in the video is a perfect example of you know what, ha?

Come to England white boy. On your own turf, you've had thousands of white girls groomed and sexually abused whilst white society sat around scared like complete cowards. It took Sikh men to make (some of) you pussies act like men about it.  Shame on you.

If you think this behavior is quite acceptable in the West you have to be completely crazy lol! Wussification is lot better than ‘pussification’ of men, when  men can’t behave with dignity and treat women with dignity too! So, in your well informed opinion, this man in the video below is what you call a man with GREAT BIG BALLS!!

F**k what you got to say. We define ourselves along the parameters laid down for us, not on some random vegan's whims.

Yes, women and men are deserved of equal respect, but to think women and men's lives aren't effected by gender is ridiculous.

Ain't you got a community of your own to preach to? Go sod off over there. What are you, some jumped up white boy.

Talk about touchy or what? Silly old fart behaving like a cow dung cake only fit for chullahs!

  6. Sikhs are meant to view God as their husband and not the other way around. God is our husband regardless of our gender. Men don’t deserve to be treated or viewed as God, for God is Perfect and men are imperfect. Men only deserve respect from women if they respect women first. If a man beats his wife she should beat him too. If he swears at her she should also swear back at him. If he drinks so should she, if he sleeps around a woman  MUST ALSO DO THE SAME and sleep around as much as she can. She should divorce him as soon as possible and take her kids with her if he is ever abusive towards them. Mostly, in the punjabi culture men beat their wives because their wives  view them as God. Women should always view their husbands as Shytes and kick and bad mouth them from day one of their marriage lol😁

Sikhism believes in equal rights for both men and women. There is no gender bias in this religion, if there is, it is due to not following sikhi.

Probably your late Guru ji. I am guessing you have more vivid memories of him (in 3d as well). Those will pull you out of distractions a lot easier. And he gave you a mantra as well, perfect. Go with his mantra and image.

Try it for a week and then remember to let me know how it goes.

Thank you for your reply, I will definitely try what you have said and let you know how it went after a week or so.

No such distinction is ever made in Guru Granth Sahib.

It's a stupid trend to make such distinctions that has arisen recently. This Ram is different that Ram is different. This guru is dehdhari that guru is not.

Dehdhari means Deh - body, dhari - wearer. Someone who wears a body. A dehdhari Guru is the same as any other Guru. All Gurus wear a body.

Obviously your physical body cannot physically combine with another physical body. Nor will you shapeshift to look like the Guru whom you are meditating on.

It is about your soul. Your soul is merging into theirs, your qualities are becoming like them, etc. It is always a merger of souls. The body however is the vehicle for that merger. And when you become the Guru, your body then becomes an insignia of the Guru.

I am little bit confused.  I have just started meditating and it is not easy to stop my mind from wandering. I have to use a very old image of the Guru Nanak to focus my mind on.  Do you think it will be better if I focused on my late Guru ji's image instead? My late Guru ji also initiated me with a mantra to repeat. I focus on the Guru Nanak's image but find my thoughts still wander off to strange places and situations.  Any help will be appreciated.

No Murti means Idol or Image. Guru ki Murti means Guru's Idol or Image.

Thinking about the Guru's murti - thinking about his face, his feet, his embrace, etc. And meditating on his form.

If Guru sahib wanted to say shabad, he would have said shabad. And here you can see Guru Sahib make a distinction-

The Guru's Murti, Guru's image is what you focus on.
And Guru's Shabads, Guru's words is what become your mantra, incantations.

So you focus on Guru's image and you repeat Guru's words as mantras. Therefore becoming one with the Guru.

    Think about it.

I thought about it and IMHO it makes a lot of sense to me.  I don't know why people misinterpret the Gubani so much.  How can Guru's Shabad be Guru's Murti?  But when you say becoming one with the Guru, do you mean dehtarry Guru?
