im looking at this from another religions perpective. any hindu or muslim that watches b4u and sees that will say "oh look hes sikh"

maybe not where you live, but where i live that happens.

the best era for bollywood was the early nineties...

heres what they do anyway

they get a mona to dress up as a singh and then play him a comedy role.. ill give u some examples of films...

in the film ajnabi... there is a comedy dude played by a sikh

also.. in one film i saw some singh who was played by actor shakti kapoor comedy knocked out some guy and as he was punching him he was saying some sikh typical lingo like balle etc

and in one advertisement i saw on zeetv they had a guy dressed up as a singh and he was raising his hand and he goes OH SHOLE BALLE BALLE

WHAT IS THE POINT OF THESE THINGS MAN

AT LEAST IF UR GOING TO MAKE A COMEDY THING OR STUFF AT LEAST HIRE PROPER SINGHS.. THEY MOST LIKELY GET MONE TO DO IT BECAUSE REAL SINGHS REFUSE TO DO THE ROLE IN THE FIRST PLACE! WHICH GOES TO SHOW BOLLYWOOD IS A PILE OF DOGSHIT

I havent been on in a while, hope everyones alright.

Well I've been having this conversation with some people, non-Sikhs and basically they want to know if Sikhism is a revealed religion. I tried to explain the best I can, keep in mind I'm no expert in all this, and well now they are asking:

what was the need for sikhism?

are the Gurus tolerant of other religions and if they are then why create a new one?

Is the Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji the word of God?

Did God reveal the truth to Guru Nanak ji?

Why would God send down a new revelation thousands of years later?

Now I and others tried answering these questions. When people of other religions (Islam, Christianity etc) come out with clear answers when you ask them something about their religion, but then they ask you about your religion and you cant answer in the same way..

well it makes me feel so dumb

I wish I knew more about Sikhi so I could answer back with just as much confidence as they do.

I hope ya guys understand wot I'm on about.

before the gurujis came the world was living in a period of darkness.. the gurujis were incarnations of god.. touched so many lives.. the difference is they never forced anybody to believe anything.. so many religions are focused on numbers and want to see the whole world in that religion. Sikhism is not like that.. this is the difference between a religion and a cult.. sikhism is more of a lifestyle then a religion... and u know
