Veer we've talked before and you sound like a level headed guy with plenty of compassion and sensitivity for pain in others. Yes tehre are lots of assholes around and they make life difficult. But so what! The worst they can do is make things unbearable - that is so bad? Not necessarily.

Remember all good things come from labour. If you persevere and fight it out - continue to run when your lungs are bursting and your legs cant move - you will reach that finish line and the reward isnt the medal - its your sense of fighting it out and surviving.

I understand that you are lonely and sad. And that kind of pain is one of teh worst imaginable. Its really difficult for us humans to live without the company of others - even us sikhs are always encouraged to seek out the company of sangat.

Thats not always possible and its not something you always wanna do. It takes great effort for some of us. Im not giving you a magic fix. But the fix is in the way you see the world. If you can change a little bit of how you see the world (maybe by talking to someone - anyone) you can change how you feel for the better.

Talk to infernal - add some singhs and kaurs to your IM (AOL/MSN etc) list and have a chat about useless stuff like girls and music ro whatever you want.

if you can, get out there and run - just jog for as far as you can .. wear some comfortable clothing - doing this might release some chemicals in your body and you might feel better. im not sure about the actual biology stuff - but it works for me when im down.

if you got specific issues you wanna discuss - feel free to put them up here - there are plenty of us who wish to help and will reply honestly and without judgment.

if your on a battle like the ancient days in which the guruji fought against the moghals..do u think it was right to kill the enemy which was the moghals? i can understand hurting the moghals but if god judges someones time to die then how come the gurujis soldiers killed the moghals in war? if someone attacks me 2morrow do i have right to kill them in self defence? if someone breaks into my home and i take their life is that right?

goin to clubbing...most of the people claim they do go for fun with freinds etc..however you in the vulnerable environment where things easily can lead to the five vices we have- anger, greed, attachment, lust and pride...even though you dont drink...because of the environment...

i m not lecturing you or anything...why dont you do a experiment urself...

just take one week off from ur priceless time ...just dedicate whole one week...listening to gurbani, kirtan instead with ur true heart instead of rap, hip-hop, bhangra songs, ragaie etc...you will the find the difference urself...you will find the music of gurbani much more relaxing and peacefull than other music...

I know this is a bit late but I havn't been able to go on the forum recently.

Anyway in response to Tejvir Kaur, Kal Ho Naa Ho portrayed Sikhs in a derogatory comical way rather than what you're implying as nice and inoffensive. What really annoyed me was the scene where the bibi shows her some photos of some Singhs asking her which one she liked and her response being "They all look the same".

Also there was the scene where the Singh brought his sons over and they looked meek, goofy, shy and silly with the father and mother being swollen, pompous, loud and of course silly.

Also did anyone notice how the bibi would idolise the photo of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, and at one point she was worshiping a shrine of Ganesh in their house.

As for PMC, yeh that ONE hit was good but I was really put off by the intro to Mirza, come on what kind of image he trying to promote but then again he was already pandering to the ghetto/punjabi audience.

As for me I'm into rock and metal (inoffensive music does exist yay!) :¬P :yo: before anybody comments no I do not like Slipknot or any of that thrash metal ok. Like they say "Whatever rocks your boat".

Orchid here you should do: Its much more conveinent. You can do this in your home and you dont need go pay to any akhara. Everyone can do it..even dumbest person can do it thats how easy Guru Nanak Dev Sikhi is!

- Fill up a glass of water and recite 108 Mool Mantar daie paat(Nanak Hos Bhi Sach Tak)... make sure you hold the glass while doing. After you done, drink the water. Water becomes amrit if you did the patt with full devotion and concentration. Drink the glass water to help you with any health problems.

If this doesnt work then feel free to go to any akhara and try to get heal from them.
