  2. Vaheguru ji ka khalsaaa, Vaheguru ji ki fatehhhh

please take 5 mins out to read all this......please sikhs ppl read and learn......

Hate: we hate someone because they hurt us.

    I HATE YOU

    YOU HURT

    ME

A GurSikh gets hurt when they see Sikhs cutting their hair, trimming

their beirds, taking the turban of Guru Gobind Singh ji into un-

    gursikh places like pubs and

    clubs.

A GurSikh gets hurt when they see Sikhs wearing a Kara and raising a

pint of beer in the same hand.

A GurSikh gets hurt when they see a Sikh raising a cigarrette to the

same mouth that was eating Guru's langar just a few days before.

These things rightly hurt the Gursikh because those Sikhs have

turned their back on the Shabd Guru's teachings.

The Trap the GurSikh falls into is Hate. Hate consumes the GurSikh

because all the those people have insulted what s/he holds closest

    to their heart.

Maya's friend Hate was invisible, unsmellable and

undetectable...hate sneaked into the gursikh's mind and body temple

    like a trained Ninja Warrior.

O GurSikh pyari-o jee, dont let hate enter your temple for any

    reason whether it's personal hurt

    or religious insults.

O GurSikh pyari-o, Guru jee has taught us that Waheguru ji resides

in every heart...so we are only hating Waheguru ji if we hate anyone

    at all.

O gurSikh pyari-o, Guru ji has taught us the mortal will be judged

by actions alone. Criticise their actions, call the actions bad, deal with actions...but dont hate the person.

There is a Sakhi (historic event) about a great Sant-Sipahee...he

truly had attained one-ness with Waheguru ji and had mastered

weaponary too. In the battlefield he fought for justice. His

opponent had been overpowered and lay on his back on the floor. The

Sant-sipahee was about to destroy the sinner by plunging the sword

of Akal into his chest, when the opponent spat in the Sant-Sipahee's

face. The Sant-Sipahee's blood boiled, rage and fury burned him for

a moment, he raised his sword with new fervour.but stopped the

sword in mid-swing!. The enemy was shocked, expecting to be dead, he grunted 'Kill Me Sikh, you have beaten me'.

The Sant-Sipahee replied, 'Before I was fighting for justice,

against the evil actions of your army, and destroying you was

destroying injustice. When you spat in my face I wanted to kill you

because you insulted ME. I was going to kill you out of ANGER AND

HATE. I would have to have been reborn because of that, so I have spared you'.

The enemy soldier was so incredibly amazed at the Khalsa soldier,

that within a few months he left his troops and joined the Khalsa.

    Criticise and Punish the

    Actions,

Love the Person.....It's a hard path to followfiner than a hair and

    sharper than a sword.

    bhul chuk maaf jee

    Don't cut your mane

    Why don't you care?

    don't cut your hair

    don't cut it down

    cause it's your crown

    no crown - no King

    no hair - no Singh!

    Singh it aint cool

    to be the fool

    if you cut it down

    you're just a clown.

    YOU'RE A LION MAN

    DON'T LOSE THE GAME

    DON'T CUT YOUR MANE!

    DON'T ACT SO WEIRD

    DON'T TRIM YOUR BEARD!

    Bhai Taroo Singh,

    Our brother King

    Was captured by

    the Moghul thing

    They wanted to

    shave him bad

    They wanted to

    drive him mad

    They took him

    into the street

    They wanted him

    to kiss their feet

    They wanted to

    take his life

    They pulled out

    a barber's knife

    And tried hard

    to cut his mane

    But it was

    all in vain

    His hair was

    strong as steel

    This miracle was

    totally real.

    He remembered God

    with every breath

    He was not

    afraid of death

    They just couldn't

    cut his hair

    and he just

    didn't care

    if they took

    away his life

    with their bloody

    barber's knife.

    YOU'RE A LION MAN

    JUST GIVE A DAMN

    DON'T LOSE THE GAME

    DON'T CUT YOUR MANE!

    DON'T ACT SO WEIRD

    DON'T TRIM YOUR BEARD!

    Be brave like

    Taroo Singh

    Don't turn away

    from our Guru King

    Don't play the

    sad loser's game

    Don't do the

    walk of shame

    YOU'RE A LION MAN

    JUST GIVE A DAMN

    DON'T LOSE THE GAME

    DON'T CUT YOUR MANE!

    DON'T ACT SO WEIRD

    DON'T TRIM YOUR BEARD!

    Don't cut your hair

    without a care

    About the king

    Bhai Taroo Singh

    Say that name

    you'll feel the shame

    You'll be a fool

    to break the rule

    you'll walk alone

    your soul will groan,

    But it aint too late

    Guru Nanak is great

    YOU'RE A LION MAN

    JUST GIVE A DAMN

    DON'T LOSE THE GAME

    DON'T CUT YOUR MANE!

    DON'T ACT SO WEIRD!

    DON'T TRIM YOUR BEARD!

I hope u like it

    When the human is born,

God gives 5 fingers on each hand.

    When the human is born,

God gives 5 toes on each foot.

    When the human is born,

God gives 5 senses - touch, taste, smell, hearing and sight.

Everything new created in this world is made of

5 elements - Earth, Water, Fire, Metal, Wood.

300 years ago 5 men sacrificed their lives to be reborn.

Like a new baby is given a new name,

these 5 men were given the new name Singh.

Like a new baby is dressed with new clothes,

these 5 men were dressed with a new identity,

the 5 k's - kesh, khanga, karra, kachha, kirpan.

    These 5 men united represented,

    The birth of Khalsa

  11. VAISAKHI Khalsa Panth 1699-2003

    THERE IS ONE GOD,

    ENTERNAL TRUTH IS HIS NAME,

    MAKER OF ALL THINGS,

FEARING NOTHING AND AT ENMITY WITH NOTHING,

TIMELESS IS HIS IMAGE, NOT BEGOTTEN, BUT BEING OF HIS OWN BEING,

BY THE GRACE OF THE GURU, MADE KNOW TO MEN.

The Sikhs believe in one God. The Sikh religion has rejected casteism. The Sikh religion is common, simple, easy, high and pure way of life. QUINTESSENCE OF SIKHISM: Sikhism exhorts the people to become serviceable transcendental meditation, honest, generous, charitable, self effacing, helpful to destitute advice to give ups and downs of life cheerfully.

Sikhism advises to give up superstitions, belief in omens and rituals. The Sikhs imbibe humbleness and sweetness. The Sikhs become veritable saints and saviours of weak, poor, needy and the destitute, oppressed and exploited brethren.

    VAISAKHI

Vaisakhi is the birthday of the Khalsa (The Pure Ones). Guru Gobind Singh jee, the tenth Guru, founded the Khalsa Brotherhood with baptism of steel on 30th March 1699. He gave a call for the devoted Sikhs who would be prepared to die for the faith. Five Sikhs answered his call and they were baptised by him with Amrit (water of immortality). They were ordered to keep the five articles of faith-unshorn hair, drawers, comb, wrist band and kirpan (sword). They took five vows and pledged to desisit from four misdemeanours. On this day, a one-day celebration is held in Gurdwara with kirtan, Katha, Lectures, Karah Parsad and langar. In addition, the Amrit ceremony is held and Amrit (nectar) is given to those who offer themselves for Sikh initiation. The Sikhs after taking Amirt are called KHALSA. They are presented on the stage and greeted by the congregation. The Amrit (baptism) ceremony can be held at any other time as well. Vaisakhi is celebrated on 14th April every year.

    KHALSA

(Arabic, ‘Khalis’, ‘pure’). Body of initiated Sikhs; The term means denoted land in the Mughal emperor’s direct possession, as opposed to lands owned by his lords. So, even before the time of Guru Gobind Singh jee, Khalsa could refer to groups of Sikhs whose loyalty was to the Guru rather than to his massands. However, the Khalsa was instituted by Guru Gobind Singh jee on Vaisakhi (30 March) 1699 CE, when the Guru administered Khande-di-Pahul to the Panj-Pyare, followed by thousands more. He than enunciated a code of disceipline (rehat) to which all khalsa Sikhs must adhere. The Khalsa was to be a casteless body of Singhs and Kaurs, outwardly distinguished by the five K’s.

Khalsa Sikhs must be brave in battle and protect the needy. The must not commit adultery and must observe rules akin to those currently set down in the REHAT MARYADA. Khalsa Sikhs must rise early, bathe, read the prescribed hymns of the Guru’s (Nitnem) and meditate on the Nam (name) of the one God. Guru Gobind Singh jee declared that all who in future accepted this God-given form of initiation would be know as KHALSA.

    VAISAKHI

    Revelation of the Khalsa

For Sikhs Vaisakhi is important as on this day the tenth Guru Nanak, Guru Gobind Singh Jee, revealed to the World the KHALSA. The Khalsa (from the Persian/Arabic Khalisah meaning the Pure) is the name given to the collective body of Sikhs who have been initiated into Sikhism by the KHANDE-DI-PAHUL ceremony (initiation by the Double Edged Sword).

Some people these days think Vaisakhi only for dancing and Songs nothing else. Sorry if I said something wrong!!!!
