  1. We can buy some land around ur Sukha Sahib and use this way to irrigate the fields. We will make @dalsingh101 to work in the fields and to rotate the garrdall. He will realise how much hard work jatts used to do.
  2. This old well has been preserved in the largest Gurdwara near my farm called Nanakpuri Gurdwara Sahib. @GurjantGnostic @dalsingh101 @Soulfinder Should not our Gurdwara Sahibs be preserving old things and heritage?
  3. Thick wooden thing is called Garrdall in punjabi. Just been told by an elderly villager.
  4. In old times, irrigation was done this way. An ox or bull was used to rotate the thick wooden thing. IMG_0107.MOV

  6. I hv contacted Panjab digital library to digitalise it.
  7. I asked the same question to Baba Gurbaksh Singh ji who is Jathedar of Tarna Dal Bhikhiwindiye UP. He told that at some places, there is slight pad ched and at some places there is lareevaar. The paper used for this pothi is very old.
  8. This Gurdwara Sahib can be reached at https://g.co/kgs/ut2aFh
  9. This pothi has the mohar and signature of Guru Gobind Singh Ji. There was a Singh who got shaheed fighting alongside Maha Singh (father of Maharaja Ranjit Singh) of Sukerchakiya Misal. This pothi was with his family and was preserved by the future generations of this family. Right now this pothi is with Tarna Dal Bhikhiwindiye who have 13 Gurdwaras/Chhaunnis in UP. This pothi sahib is being kept in the Khazana of the below Gurdwara Sahib.
  10. Recently, a very nice Taksali Singh told me that Sant Kartar Singh Bhindranwale used to do sewa of horses. He used to pick lidd(dung) of horses in the same way as Nawab Kapur Singh did in 18th century. Even today, Taksal keeps some horses.
  11. hang, khang, nyang, ang, oang, yang, eee the above is the English transliteration of the mantra sent to me by Nihang Kamalroop Singh.
  12. In Sarbloh Granth Sahib, it’s written that the demons used biyadh astar (similar to a virus) on the devtas and it caused many diseases on the bodies of the devtas. The devtas then did jaap of this mantra and got cured. During the time of coronavirus, Singhs did jaap of this Mantar and got great relief.
  13. Mahakaal Gurdyal Singh ji can be contacted at +91 7901953028
  14. @dalsingh101 plz listen to below video of Nangli ji from 3:30
  15. I hv also been told by Nihang Singhs that if a place has the presence of ghosts or evil spirits, get some horses to live there and the evil spirits leave that place.
  16. Raag sorath raag Asaa is an extra Bani that is present in old Patna Sahib wali birr of Dasam Granth Sahib. It has other extra banis too like malkauns ki vaar, Sansahar sukhmana, Gobind Gita etc. The screenshot is from the pdf of Das granthi of Hazur Sahib available on internet. The last line of raag sorath reads Ghorre Das Gobind Singh ke, Bhagat Daadni payuun. According to Gurwinder Singh Nangli ji, this line is about the greatness of horses in Guru Ghar.
  17. Guru Sahib in Dasam Granth Sahib has written that only a person who has good destiny and bhagti of previous lives gets to do the seva of horses.
  18. I hv also been told by a Nihang Singh who does seva of horses day and night that if some amritdhari has committed a bajjar kurehit like sleeping with someone else’s wife, horses in Dal Panth either bite or give a leg kick to such a person if he comes near the horse. Horses in Dal Panth hv special power. They get to know whether a person is bajjar kurehitiyaa or not.
  19. Had a talk with a nihang Singh yesterday. He said that if a horse is restless or too kaami(lusty), he is given Shaheedi degh. Shaheedi degh helps in removing thoughts of Kaam. Many Nihang Singhs are bihangam(celibate) and drinking Shaheedi degh helps them remove kaam from their minds. Shaheedi degh helps in increasing focus in any task one does, whether the task is bhagti, shastar vidya training or any sewa of Guru Ghar.
  20. https://gb.budhadal.org/akali-baba-surjit-singh-ji/ Baba Surjeet Singh ji was then given one of hardest duties in the Budha Dal, Ghoreyaan di seva, the selfless service of feeding, cleaning, and grooming the sacred horses of Guru sahib. Guru Gobind Singh writes with Dasam Sri Guru Granth Sahib, and in Sau Sakhi, that the seva of the horses is the highest in the Khalsa Panth. Guru sahib stated that one year of this seva is the equivalent to twelve years of any other seva. In this way Baba ji achieved more than a lifetimes worth of seva in this very janam
