Guru pyaare the aim is for this dvd to be for daily use to help provide a base for families together to build up to rehit and maintain Nitnem so it is of practical use. if feedback from Sangataan is positive we can release further versions with full line by line english, other Baniaan, Kirtan, etc. in the near future
-
Guru Piaarey here is a promo of some of the videos alhough please note they are in higher resolution on the dvd.
Gurmukhi - The Punjabi Alphabet: (mainly aimed at younger children so they can recognise and write Gurmukhi characters):
Gurbani Nitnem in Gurmukhi and English (alike a Video Gutka so families can do their nitnem together, or learn how to do the daily paath):
Japji Sahib
Sohila
There are also many Gurbani Shabad Kirtan Videos with Translations such as:
Kal Taaran Guru Nanak Aaiyaa
With the overwhelming interest of Sangataan, the GuruGhar had to decide on a cost. They made the decision to initially release the dvd below cost at 50p each. Hopefully this will be high enough to prevent beadbi where some people may take the dvd and later mistreat it but low enough to be affordable by all.
The dvd will be made more accessible nationally and soon internationally in the near future.

Veerji how do you know this is not a sister you are talking to?
interesting that you judge this as blasphemy. wouldnt you say our minds are a million times more blasphemous than anything we will come across externally?
if somebody rightly spares some time to sing Gurbani dont they deserve nothing but our love?
Veerji look at it in context this is one file in this style out of how many.. thousands? regarding Gurmat Sangeet we are trying to collate one of the largest archives available.
however in doing so we do not want to force our own views of Sikhi on sangataan otherwise we'd have to change the website name to RajKarega(One-Particular-Approach-To-Sikhi-Above-Everything-Else-Or-Its-Blasphemy).net
we're trying in a very small way to be inclusive rather than divisive and if it is in SatGuru Ji's Will then this will be the future direction we will continue taking.
we hope that we can soon add some media to the site with which we can earn your blessings

Bahadur Ali veerji i've not spoken to you before so i just thought i'd say Assalamu Alilkum Wa Rahmatulah Wa Barakatuh.
To a sincere Sikh or Muslim i would not be worth the dust under your feet if you could from now on refer to Guru Nanak Dev Ji as exactly that out of respect for sangat's wishes if nothing else. One who has love doesn't wish to hurt another. Also we have no right to pass judgments on anyone let alone an entire community. The Lord exists everywhere and in everything.
Guru Nanak did, however, as you say have a universal message. One did not need to change identity or faith to grasp the basics of His plural message. Anyone who has focused into his own self, delved deep and absorbed a tiny portion of any Gurbani be it Mool Mantar, Japji, Jaap, Anand or Akal Ustat will see how Sikhi is unique, open and Divine. Acknowledging it as so doesn't detract from anyone!
all the best on your spiritual journey.
