Yes there is a section of Hindus who hate Sikhs and that section is Punjabi Hindus . I live in Delhi NCR and know their mentality but what suprising is that its not Punjabi Brahmins or Banias its Khatris and Aroras.

Even Gurdwara going khatri Arore has anti Sikh mentality they will talk Prahji and Verji at ur face and at ur back they would say admin cut SARDARS Gianis .

Even non Punjabi Hindus dont like Punjabi Hindus (Khatris and Aroras)

Anyone know why these Khatris /Aroras have anti Sikh mentality ?

Historically there are many, but most recent reason is Khalistani lehar. These Gurudwara going mona Khatris consider sikhi part of Hindu samaj, but long beards and kirpans remind them of that movement.

When I grew my hair and beard, I did not do so that I won't go to hell. I did for love.

I was thinking to stop tying my beard. After reading this long post, I decided to keep it tucked in. Sometimes I used to go to Gurudwara with open beard. Next time I will go to my Satguru's court with tucked in beard.

Guru Teg Bahadur ji got his title for showing bravery in army of Guru Hargobind Sahib.

I have seen some big dhari wale singhs in my time even uncles with the thaati fixo rolling they got length.

Problem some people have is moucha getting to thick and heavy sometimes.

My beard goes below my belt, just because I tie it. If I keep it flowing, longer hair will fall down with time.

Yes, thick moucha are hard sometime. But you can keep moucha in shape with glue.

In reality, beard does not grow that long. It wears off doing everyday activities. These people have it long because they keep it to grow long like a hobby.

I remember one time hearing a conversation between two gursikhs in the jorha ghar of the gurdwara sahib. The gursikhs met each other and both said full fateh and then hugged. After the hug, one of the gursikhs said, " People say that when we say fateh each gursikh gets to say and hear vaheguru 4 times, but they don't realize that when we hug, we hear vaheguru rom rom countless times."

First, rom does not mean hair here.

Second, even if it does, why we should not cut/clean hair from other parts of body?

Here is translation from Prof Sahib Singh. I did in hurry with limited vocabulary. Maybe somebody can improve it.

(Muslims have) five Namazs, at five times and (five Namazs have) different five names. (But for Sikhs, here are five Namazs)

Speaking truth is first Namaz (for morning),

decent earning is second Namaz,

asking for SarbatDaPala is third Namaz.

Keeping your intentions honest is fourth Namaz and praising Lord is fifth Namaz.

if one performs these Namazs like reciting a Kalma, one should be called Muslmaan. O Nanak, (others) are merchants of falsehood and honor of falsehood is false too.

The soul or the self (Atman) is identical with Brahman. It is not a part of Brahman that ultimately dissolves into Brahman, but the whole Brahman itself. Now the arguers ask how the individual soul, which is limited and one in each body, can be the same as Brahman? Adi Shankara explains that the Self is not an individual concept. Atman is only one and unique. Indeed Atman alone is {Ekaatma Vaadam}. It is a false concept that there are several Atmans {Anekaatma Vaadam}. Adi Shankara says that just as the same moon appears as several moons on its reflections on the surface of water covered with bubbles, the one Atman appears as multiple atmans in our bodies because of Maya.

So as per Adi Shankara, body and atma, both are illusion.

But it is real and His real pasara. World is transient, but not illusion.
