  1. I have got to get the copy back from my brother which i will do in a week or two then i will get it up. also i have the Asa Di Vaark Katha and Bhagat Bani Katha by Sant Makhan Singh Ji so will be posting that soon

Thanks veerji, really looking forward to that.

  2. Thanks for the beautiful seva veer Kamalpreet Singh. Some of the latest katha added has been amazing to listen. I know you have a lot to get through but was just wondering if when you get a bit of time if you could upload Sant Baba Makhan Singh Sevapanthi's Sukhmani Steek - 'The Unstruck Symphony'? Recent trips to India by family members have proved fruitless thus far.

    Why should I do it?

Khalsa Aid is an international non-profit aid and relief organization founded on the Sikh principles of selfless service and universal love. It has provided relief assistance to victims of disasters, wars, and other tragic events around the world.

By taking on this challenge and raising sponsorship (no amount is too small) you will be helping Khalsa Aid to continue performing the beautiful seva it conducts around the globe.

What will I get in return?

In addition to getting you outdoors taking part in the challenge will expose you to the beautiful scenery that Akaal Purakh has created.

You will also get to meet many like minded Sikhs and have the satisfaction of completing a demanding challenge whilst contributing to a great cause.

    Great, how do I enter?

To register please email Rajinder Singh on Rajinder21@hotmail.com. You will receive an application pack which includes further information, an entry and sponsorship form. You will also receive details of the weekly ‘training walks’ currently being organized in West Yorkshire in preparation for the challenge.

I still need more information, whom should I contact?

For further information on the challenge please post here or email Rajinder Singh on Rajinder21@hotmail.com.

Just wanted to add my thoughts on this Steek which I received about a month ago and have slowly been making my way through it.

I've found the Steek very useful. I particularly like the approach Bhai Sahib Bhai Rajinder Singh Gill has taken in breaking down each word/words/line/pauri and translating these individually while providing additional commentary to expand on certain gurmat principles. This really helps in providing a deeper understanding of the meanings of Sri Japji Sahib Ji. It also helps develop your vocabulary.

Following each pauri Bhai Sahib conducts a further analysis of the pauri as a whole in which the main points being addressed are summarised with bullet points. Throughout the Steek Bhai Sahib elucidates concepts such as Sehaj, Naam, Bhramgyan, Vairaag, Liv-avastha, Anahad Shabad etc.

The Steek as you'd expect from a student of Professor Sahib Singh Ji is heavily based on Vyakaran. To gain a better understanding of grammar you would need to read either Bhai Sahib Bhai Randhir Singh Ji's book or Professor Sahib Singh Ji's Gurbani Vyakaran the steek does however highlight a few basic aspects of gurbani grammar.

I strongly feel that everyone would benefit from the steek and as such Bhai Sahib should be thanked for this beautiful seva he has undertaken. Also Veer shaheediya needs to be thanked for distributing this beautiful steek.

Has anyone got a copy of the book, The Miracle of Ardaas (Translation of Ardaas Kla)? If yes have you finished reading it and are you willing to send it to someone else who would also like to benefit from it?

Btw sikhnation.com have been contacted but unfortunately do not have any copies left with the next ones arriving in October at the earliest. Many thanks.
