I have contacted food standards agency in UK in regards to this matter and recieved this response, Thanks.

"Thank you for your email concerning sugar being carbon filtered using bones. This is a very old fashioned method for sugar production and is not usually used today. We have spoken to both major sugar producers in the UK and Tate and Lyle discontinued this process many years ago and British Sugar have never used it. Small third world producers may use this process but most sugar on sale in the UK will be filtered by other means.

There is unlikely to be any health risk from bones, as they will have been incinerated to carbon."

The Sangat in the U.K. is blessed in this regard. in India also, the sugar refining methods appear not to be based on bone char. The problem is quite serious in the U.S. The Sangat in the U.S. can use vegan sugar.

Have you checked about the milk contamination? In the U.S., the milk contains Vitamin D3, derived from lanolin or fish fat.

With Sri Guru Maharaaj Ji's blessings, it is advisable to use vegan sugar which is not processed with bone char. In some cases, few sugar companies do not process ordinary sugar with bone char. You may want to check with the company selling sugar in your area about the method of processing. Most companies do not mention this very fact on the packet.
