  1. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh,

A rather typically indian response, concerned about their reputation, not concerned about any attempt to get at the truth. Mr Dixit is entirely right when he states 'india would

never agree to such a thing' he is of course entirely wrong in his

comprehension of the word genocide. I have included a number of dictionary

definition's below, I would say the events of November 1984 fit quite snugly .

His assertion that it was provoked is really below comment, the fact that

this man was a former foreign secretary speaks volumes about the quality of

indian politicians. We certainly did not see a mass backlash against Brahmins

when Nathuram Godse shot the Mahatma a man more revered than the psychotic

indira ever was, however would the slaughter of brahmins, had it taken place be justified by

    Nathu's provocation?

On the contrary Nathu is regarded as a hero by many

indians, a true soldier of hindutva even the RSS, the organisation from

whom he hailed is more popular than it has ever been .

Hardly a novel reaction in indian political circles, after all we are faultless, it must be people

who are anti-indian 'out to get us' and besmirch our good name, only surprise

being that he is not blaming pakistan...yet.

Will india ever allow a organisation such as the UN to carry out a

    independent enquiry?

    In a word, no.

Will Sikhs or other minorities ever realise justice in the nation state of

    india?

    Frankly no, never.

    P.S.

Workload being what it is at the moment, I have only just read the thread 'Akal Takht as fortress' and was disappointed to see the thread closed, must admit to being somewhat bemused by the contrary nature of some posters views when compared to their posts from the 'Shaheedi immortality...' thread.

I believe the poster of this thread missed the point, that being, fortified or not the Harmandir Sahib complex was going to be attacked by the indian army, that is an absolute. Sant Bhindrawale was simply a pretext, his arrest could have been effected at many times prior to June, in fact there were no outstanding FIR's against him at the time of the attack, besides the simultaneous assault on at least 37(as many as 74) other Sikh Gurudwara at the same time somewhat negates the argument that this was about the apprehension or containment of one man, the other 37 gurudwara as well as those burned in the run up to June 84 or for that matter those attacked in Nov 84 were not fortified, did this prevent their sacrilege?

    Clearly not.

The fact that some Sikhs decided to defend their holiest shrine is a act which should be admired, be under no illusions defended or not the army was going to storm the complex and kill Sikhs, the date chosen for the attack was not coincidence it was intentionally chosen to inflict maximum damage.

Below is an interesting quote which exposes the widely held belief that bluestar was a response to Sant Bhindranwale, as contemptuous.

On May the 5th 1984 Rajiv Gandhi visited Panjab; speaking in Chandigarh he described Sant Bhindranwale as "a saintly man without political ambitions." p.o.g./ I.S. Jaijee

This less than a month before the attack?

There will always be those whom seek to justify bluestar as being perpetrated in response to the actions of Sant Bhindranwale, this is a mistake not only for the reasons given above. It is impossible to look at the fortification of the Harmandir Sahib or the Sikh situation as a whole in isolation.

It must be understood in context of the prevailing political climate of the time, it was not paranoia which led the Sant to concentrate on the grave injustices suffered by Sikhs at the hands of indian authorities, indeed events since 1984 have left us in doubt of the veracity of his claim's, but even in the years and months preceding June 84 we can see a determined increase in the governments anti-Sikh agenda, as example.

    February 20, 1984.

The Congress chief minister of Haryana provoked an anti-Sikh riot through his inflammatory speech "warning the akali leaders that hindu patience is running out and retaliation was near". Satish Jacob (BBC) saw police looking on as hindu mobs burnt down the gurudwara in Panipat. He also witnessed Sikhs pulled from buses and forcibly shaved, Sikh shops looted, eight Sikhs were clubbed to death that day.

Bear in mind that the Congress chief minister that incited these actions was not only a minister of the ruling government of india but a close personal friend of I gandhi.

So this was the situation that Sikhs found themselves trapped within, the ruling government of 'their' country had decided that seeing the desertion of the muslim vote from congress the Sikhs alienation followed by retribution against them was a certain vote winner amongst hindu chauvinists.

Bluestar was conceived and gestated on political ambition it was nurtured on vanity and executed in reckless hate, it was the last gasp of a woman who was no stranger to inciting communal and religious tensions to fuel her megalomania therefore fortification was no provocation as none were needed, the defiant protection of a Sikh shrine could do no worse than to allow history to record that the proud spirit of Sikh resistance to tyranny is still existent.

Good post, this is why you guys should call yourself Punjabi, coz that's what your truly are, you are not "Indians", so please stop calling yourself that, why on Earth would you want to be associated with that despicable, fake and corrupt "country" which is doing it's best to destroy Sikhism and Punjab, or what little there is left of it!

  2. I think to find the truth you need to first understand yourself first, then i feel that you could understand others. Asking questions to yourself can help, questions like, "Who am I?", they may sound dum but try to give it a go. I also remember Bruse Lee saying, "My truth isnt your truth". Do you do Naam Simran?

Brother, thanks for your kind advice but I am not in need of help, this is strictly an intellectual excerise. Thanks anyway,

    MI

  3. I'm intrigued...Jamuka and M.I.,

Do you feel there is absolute truth and then non-truth alone? In other words, everything is either absolutely true or absolutely false. OR that there are differing levels of truth?

This may explain a few things

Brother, the truth IS absolute, there is only ONE truth (God), there is no such thing as levels or versions of truth, anything that is not the truth is false or a lie, the truth is not subjective but totally objective. As Guru Nanak said, "The Truth Is One"... Think about it...

    Kind Regards,

    MI

  4. argh! i've been a hypocrite too!

ok... i dun agree with introspection.

    Why? Please elaborate...

i think it's stupid, especially descartes.

That's a rather arrogant statement, Descartes is one of the most amazing and influential people in all human history, Science has strong roots in Cartesian philosophy.

i mean as smart as he is, he totally lost himself because he made too many assumptions.

Yes but they were all based on some sort of logic, they were not just crazy ideas grabbed out of thin air, as is the case with most religions, except Sikhism.

i think that Hume is the only one worth lookin into because he's the only one who really recognized that reality (or truth in this case) is objective, whereas we are subjective creatures and can only see the world through whatever perceptual constructs we already have in our minds.

True to a point but it is pointless to talk about humans being inherently subjective when we do have the ability to discover reality outside of our own contructs, with the aid of an outside and independent observer, one CAN actually make OBJECTIVE and factual statements about the nature of reality, otherwise the creation of intruments such as Science would be impossible. Also, consider Mathematics, could it not be said that it is something which is an absolute truth and which is outside and free of our own subjective perspectives? 10+10=20, this is an easily observable fact which does not even need independent confirmation from a third party, it is the TRUTH! Thus it IS possible to find the truth. Sikhism is very much like Mathematics and Science, except Mathematics deals with numerical truth, Science deals with physical truth, and Sikhism deals with spiritual truth! (Other religions try but they are false and fail miserably)

so to answer the question of how to find Truth... it isn't possible. we can't do it, simply because we're bounded by our own thinking.

Again, 10+10=20 is an absolute TRUTH! Our own subjectivity is totally irrelevent when it comes to the truth (especially in Mathematics), no matter what our individual perspective, the truth always remains the same, the same is true for all other areas, as Guru Nanak so wisely said, "The Truth Is One". It doesn't matter what religion one is from, a Sikh, Muslim, "Hindu", Chrisitan, Jew, Buddhist etc. will ALL come up with the same answer to 10+10, which is 20, regardless of their subjective nature. This is an example of what Guru Nanak taught many times, that no matter what your faith, the truth is always the same and can be obtained by anyone who wants it, by meditating on it! God is the truth and the truth is God, so by meditating on the truth and obtaining it, one is automatically meditating on God and obtaining Him! All humans agree when it comes to Mathematics and Science but when it comes to finding the truth about spiritual life and God (Religion), humans become completely irrational and illgocial, full of ego and arrogance, because most think that their way is the best way or the only way, they think they have already found the truth (without even investigating it) about spiritual life and God, just because some guy claiming to be from God (often a narcassistic fraud/charlatan like Mohammed and Krishna) came and "told them so" and just because they were born in to that particular ideology, it is amazing to think that they abandon all logic and reason when it comes to this most important aspect of their life! Think about it...

but! (and this is a biggie)

i do believe that we all know Sikhi's answer to how we can get to the Truth.

And this is the right answer!

    need i say more?

    Nope!

    Kind Regards,

    MI

  5. The truth is the truth and can never be anything else but the truth. The question is not what the truth is but how do we see it?

In the end only the truth will prevail and lies will perish.

Well done! Excellent answer! I could not have put it better myself, however, how do you find the truth, how do you (Jamuka) know when something is BS and when something it really true? What is your method? Please share this with us, your posts are very good on this site as well as FFI, so tell everyone here how you do it, you never seem to be confused at all, maybe you can help all the others here! I'll be back to give a full reply later, once we have some more posts, this is an important topic and many will learn from it. Thanks,

    MI

  6. Good post. Realistic, sensible and rational. ACTION is what we always tend not to do. Without doing anythinkg, how would you expect God to help you?

Dude! You hit the nail on the head, well done, it's a shame that this post which is very serious and about real life has only had a few responses, Khalistan or Azad Punjab will only ever be created by action, not mere empty words!

    Kind Regards,

    MI

  7. Q: Do you know how to think and find the truth?

Please tell us how you do it, tell us what you do to find the truth and how you think, describe some of the processes, how do you think about something, how do you know something is true or false, what things do you think about before making your mind up, please answer fully, this is a serious question which may change your life forever!

    Kind Regards,

    MI

  8. I am saving that post.

Hi Brother, I am glad you liked that post, basically, I see many young people here on this site and others and it's a shame that many of them have problems which are quite easy to fix. There are very few people who give good advice on how to solve problems, just by telling someone to pray to God is not always the right answer, it's good to pray but it's also good to use that wonderful brain that God gave you, it's there to be used for thinking, to solve problems, something which many people cannot do or do not know how to do. I am tired of people make excuses about why they can't do this or that in life, the fact is that they can, just put your mind to it and happiness is always achievable! Thanks,

    MI

  9. Hi everyone, I just posted this post in another topic about time travel but I ended up writing about something a little different, I wrote about life, maybe it will help some of you, I am not even sure why I wrote it, but I would like to know if any of you found it helpful and why?

That story was a fake, we got a good laugh over at Wall St. when we heard that! As for time travel, it is not possible, I don't have time to explain all the physics but just read any good physics book and you'll know why it is impossible. Any one who wishes they could go back in time to correct a mistake is better off trying to change their future, which IS possible. Remember, the future hasn't happend, if you do something positive now it may have a huge effect on your future and you may end up happy. Doing NOTHING is the WORST thing to do! You can't go back in time but you can bring time back to you! Think about it and you will know what I mean... Imagine that 1997 was a great year for you, you wish you could go back in time but can't, so instead you bring 1997 back to you, now... If you lost touch with someone or some friends you really cared about, pick up the phone and call them, find them, get them back in to your life, remember, in human terms, time is only a number, in most cases people can still change their lives even aster years have passed. A good friend of mine broke up with his wife 5 years ago, he really missed her. I was talking to him the other day, he told me that he wished that he could go back in time and be back together with her again. I told him that you can't go back in time to the "Good Times" but you CAN bring the "Good Times" time back to you, he got a little confused, then I explained that he should re-create 1997, the year he was happy with his ex-wife, now, in 2004! I told him to give her a call, see what she was doing, try and be friends again, start dating if you have the chance, just get back to her and try and re-create the "Good Times" you had and you will be happy again, he finally got more relaxed much happier, he actually got the idea I was trying to tell him. A few weeks later he called me up and said that he met his ex-wife again and that they had started seeing eachother again, even making plans to re-marry! That was great news and shows that with a lil bit of thought, more or less anything is possible. You might think why have I given such a long speech, it's because some of you out there reading this will know exactly what I mean, there are many of you who are unhappy at having wasted time, sometimes 2 or 3 years or longer and are wishing you can get those back but you can't, so instead you should just look at what positive things you gained from those "wasted" years, what did you learn, have you grown as a person etc. and then move forward. Don't live in the past because the past is history, don't worry about the future because the future has not happend and things don't always turn out as bad as you think, just live each day as it happens, make the most of it and then live the next day the same way. Life is too short to worry and get stressed about BS, forget it and just relax, take it easy and be happy. If you missed out on something when you were younger, like university, a degree, college or something else, forget about thinking about going back in time, instead, bring that time back and make it happen now, re-live it, go back to college now, get a degree now, get that great job that you wanted as a kid, now! Nothing is stoping you except for yourself. If you have a crap life, change it now! First, look at your current situation, then ask yourself what you really want, ask yourself if it is realistic, ask yourself if an alternative will make you happy, then MAKE A PLAN and ask yourself how can it be achieved, making a plan is easy but executing it (following it) is not so easy. Be determined and make sure you follow your plan until it has been finished, once it works and you are happy, keep working hard to make sure you don't screw up again, remember, prevention is always better than a cure. Then just be happy... You may ask when should you start your plan, well, when would NOW be a good time? If you have already wasted 2 years of your life, why wait longer being lazy and waste 3 years? Instead of wishing that you had done something earlier, do it now, so in another years time you are not wishing that you had done it earlier again! lol The best way to deal with something is to do it right away, do it now! Why do something tomorrow when you can do it today? Always deal with a problem right away, never run away because it just usually gets worse, deal with it and destroy it straight away, never let life get you down, always deal with life right away and make sure you do it properly so you don't get a nasty shock later on, just remember these few things and you will be happy, also, please always be rational, logical and scientific, no need to believe in superstitious garbage which will only make your life more confusing and worse. Always remember God and he will always help you out, also please remember that God always gives you chances to do something, so please take them whenever they arise, and finally, as Guru Nanak says, always be optomistic and happy!

    Kind Regards,

    MI

    END

Please give your opinions, constructive ones please, no silly posts. Thanks,

Do you feel insecure about Sikhi?

If God is unlimited then he can manifest himself in the form of our ten Gurus. That is logic! You are the one who is limiting God not me!!! btw I am not a Hindu!!!

SGGS says that God does not come in human form, are you saying that the SGGS is wrong? Also, I am not limiting God, I am talking facts, I didn't say that God cannot, I said God DOES NOT, come in human form, there is no limitation being applied here to the nature of almighty God. God can do anything, but choses NOT to, as it would break his own laws. How can you write an endless (infinite) story on one (limited) sheet of paper? Now why would an infinite God become limited?

    Kind Regards,

    MI

  12. OH "limited human beings"? Is this the way a SIkh talks about Maharaj! What a shame!

The shame is on you for being totally ignorant of the SGGS, which is our living Guru, the Guru's were the greatest human beings that ever lived but they were NOT God, they said so themselves, also please make use of an English dictionary, the Guru's were limited, only God is unlimited. You talk like a deluded Hindu dude, making totally unscientific, irrational and illogical posts which make Sikhism look stupid.

  13. the zero is an exclusively Indian concept:

Correction, it was invented by the Aryans who were Punjabis of Punjab as is stated in the Rig Veda, and not "Indians', a fake people of a fake country ("India") invented by Britain in 1947, depriving millions of people of their freedom, culture, religion, identity and enslaving them for the Hindi people of the Ganges area. The British empire was merely replaced by the "Hindian" empire. Pakistan was very smart to get out while it could, Pakistani Punjabis made a very clever move and got their freedom, while the Punjabi Sikhs and Hindus got screwed big time.

    Jay Hind!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"Hind" as a country never existed, unless you are saluting ancient Sindh, which is now in Pakistan!

    Kind Regards,

  14. God is infinite and unlimited, our Guru's were finite and limited human beings, NOT God! SGGS says that God does not come in human form, I can't even understand why you guys are even discussing it, there's an old saying which says "Argue with a fool and you have already lost the argument", think about that...

    Kind Regards,

  15. I don't understand why this keeps coming up? Kesh is for Khalsa only, it is a MUST and cannot be cut. As for non-Khalsa Sikhs, they must first get to the level where they can keep Kesh and later become Khalsa. Most Sikhs do it the other way round, they have no spirituality or understanding of Sikhism, they just put on a "Turban, beard and 5K's" like it is some kind of exclusive club they are joining, they then start juding all the other non-Khalsa Sikhs! How messed up is that? They are full of false pride which is against the Khalsa in the first place! They are fakes and only interested in personal glory, whereas there are many true Sikhs who cut their hair but are a lot more spiritual and enlightened than the "outside appearence only" Khalsa Sikhs, who are totally fake from the inside, where it counts the most...

  16. This topic is absurd, any book that disagrees with science is false! Any book that has obviously bad values is also false. Since when is "Kill all the unbelievers" a good value? The Quran, which I have had the pleasure of reading many times makes me laugh like crazy, it is best thought of as a badly written Arab joke book, not to be taken seriously. Also, the Quran is NOT authentic, there were 3 different versions of the Quran when the 3rd Caliph decided to read all 3 and kept the one he liked the best, all copies of the 2 other versions were burned! Also, there is a verse about stoning women missing from the Quran but is included in the Hadiths because the original was eaten by a goat! This account is also in the Hadiths, so this shows that Islam is seriously messed up and no amount of lies and propoganda is going to change that. I am a scientist and can confirm that Sikhism is the ONLY religion truly compatible with science, the SGGS makes the most amazing scientific revelations which are not BS interpretaions like the ones in the Bible or Quran but actual translations! You Sikhs born in to Sikhism don't know how damn lucky you are to be born in to the best religion, it took me more than 20 years to find Sikhism but am glad I did...

    Kind Regards,

P.S. Jamuka, Mohammed had sex with Aisha when she was 9 but only because when she was 6, she had a serious disease which Mohammed didn't want to catch! Also, there is another Hadith which talks about Mohammed dreaming about having Aisha at just 4 years old!!! Is this perverted or what!?

  17. Err....the Japanese did Pearl Habour.

Errr, because they knew they were supported by the Nazis, Hitler declared war shortly after Pearl Harbour! You need to learn your WWII history dude! ;)

And the USA did jack all anyway,

Errr, we won the war buddy, without us, there would be no England left!

they just came to England in the last year of the war and had all the girls

Well, someone had to, the English men were just useless when it came to pleasing women, we Yanks however, know exactly what a lady wants and we always give them full satisfaction! lol

  18. Its high time that naive Sikhs open their eyes and begin to see the reality and stop making apologies for Islam.

You hit the nail on the head but these PC liberal brainwashed "Sikhs" will never listen to sense, only when it's their own sisters or daughters will they give a damn but by then it will be too late. It truly baffles me that Islam of all religions, whose followers killed our Gurus in cold blood, murdered their children etc. is protected so heavily on this site, a supposedly "Sikh" site!

    Kind Regards,

    MI

P.S. I remember my grandfather telling me people saying the same things about the Nazis and how peaceful Nazism was, Americans only woke when pearl harbour was attacked and destroyed mercilessly, what a waste that it took a huge massacre for them to finally wake up and fight! These "Sikhs" here will wake up to when a disaster happens again in Sikhism.

  19. lol say that to an aghori !!

Not only that there are alot of rituals (no disrespect intended just not sure how to word it) within sikhism which revolve around the use of spirits.

One being numerology, which is present in Sri Aad Granth Maharaj (not sure about Dasam or Sarbloh maharaj yet)

Shaheeds - and the creating of shaheedi degh

Asaans - (Seats on which Saints sit while doing bhagtee and being saintly)

    Lighting of Joht,

    Use of Toof and/or fragrances,

Devi devtas and rakash all reside in that other dimension and they play a great effect on your day to day activity.

And also its aparent that you should pay some regards as they are a life form too (they just dont have a body and a physical representation yet) and they can be offended and pleased, as in the case of the suleman situation, its as easy as urinating on the wrong tree which could lead to posession.

Are you kidding? What possesion? It's all nonsense. I'll urinate where ever I like, nothing will happen, it's all BS.

Siri guroo granth sahib ji talks about presence of ghost in sukhmani sahib check out....its not non-sense...

Actually there is a different realm (bhraiemand) for all these ghosts...:D.. this aint no joke but real stuff...like its been said..its too good to be true.. but there were my relatives there that time when tape was recorded live in 1962 with other sikh sangat...i guess now they cant lie cant they??

    Hi N30,

I didn't mean that I deny their existence, I mean that, who cares? They are in their own dimension, we are in our own, they can't bother us. So what's all the fuss about? That's all really...

    Kind Regards,

    MI
