    You asked me about specific points pertaining to Islaam, i.e. about the belief in Allaah, about following the Prophet and his role in Islaam, etc. When you ask me to clarify what Islaam teaches I refer to the sources. I would expect you to do the same when I ask you about Sikhism. Perhaps it is different for you but when someone asks about Islaam the first source we turn to is the Qur’an and the Prophetic Sunnah (authentic tradition). When ones wants to learn about Shakespeare I presume one would turn to the source itself!

    So may I ask, do you find the Bukhari as a reliable hadith?

    As I explained, the clarification you put forth for Sikhism, I will deal with appropriately when I open up a thread to discuss the concept of God. I did assure you that I would come back to them. Have patience and we’ll discuss them soon, insha’allaah

    The Quran was revealed to Mohammad Sahib by an angel called Gabriel (jibraaeel). Sri Guru Granth Sahib came directly from WAHEGURU to our Gurus. No middle man. Gurus were in direct communion with WAHEGURU.

    (2) Quran was not written by Mohammad Sahib. i don't know if it was written after him or during his lifetime, but it was not written by him. I think it was a person referred to as Huzoor Usman. Sri Guru Granth Sahib was written by Gurus themselves, in their lifetimes. Not after them by someone else.

    I think I read a hadiwth somewhere, that Muhammad had one verse written on a leaf by one of the writers, and a goat came and ate it up..

    Course it matters.. if someone was a true Sikh then they wouldnt try to divide the world up even more than it already is... wasnt that one of the main purposes of Guru Nanak ji anyways? To get rid of the caste system.. that one is neither a hindu nor a muslim.. that we are all God's children

    True but the question was whether it was from Dhan Dhan Sri Guru GRAnth SAhib ji or not

    it doesn't matter! if it IS Guru Gobind SIngh ji's Hukam then isn't it FULL STOP?

    n then you have other Sikhs tellin u who u can and cannot marry..why? Because their of a different religion.. a different path to God.

    You can't follow two religions at the same time especially if they COntradict :!:

    To me thats contradicting earlier teachings.. and if its the direction in which Sikhism is heading, than Sikhism will be no different than Islam or any other religion... it will only divide.. not unite people.

    Why not, Muslims are ou brothers, so are Hindus, and Christians, we don't agree with them but they've got ther right to follow right?

    we can't force them to convert..can we....

    Im totally against this, as if we see the image of Jesus, hes iamge is made fun of everywhere, even iin SOUTHPARK!

    now Imagen what'd happen if there was a movie about the Guru :)

    and WHO can play the Guru :)?

    1. Never said that mourning Imam Hussain (AS) was a condition to go to Paradise and I just quoted it as an example

    so theres other CONDITIONS for non-muslims?

    2. Bukhari includes a lot of lies about the Prophet and his life. Only the haditth from the Ahlul Bayt can be taken as authentic

    Why would it do that :)?

    3. The question of interpretation was directed at you guys not at me! What is the ARabic word for idolatress in the ayat?
