  1. i say its best not to "fall in love" with anyone apart from your husband/wife, in doin this you will have beaten Kaam(lust) which in todays society is probabley the worst of all the five vices.

an wot u gonna do when the two religions conflict, in sikhi meat is forbidden so is alcohol/tobacco an any other form of intoxicant, wot u gonna do wen the nex man starts munching on a piece of chicken and gets mashed out of his head with booze  all the other religions allow everything which sikhi says is wrong ie sharaab/meat.........[/quote]

I thought that sharaab was forbidden in Islam if that's what u'r talking about, but it seems Christians are allowed

  2. It's difficult to say, things are not always so straightforward...the woman was lucky she was wearing a helmet, but what about someone wearing a dustaar? Sikhi is all about common sense and sacrifices-so i say it was fine for that woman to wear helmet, and say its up to ppl whether they want to wear helmet, but is it harder for men? and yes, there are more important issues in Sikhi then wearing helmet, like ppl cutting hair, and not doing paat etc

  3. Before saying anything, i would just like to say i haven't got the exact source, and am not entirely sure, but i've been told that my dad read a book, not sure who by, whether it's in english or punjabi, that said something about jesus not being good enough for Saachkhand, and that he's standing outside Saachkhand while Guru Nanak is in Saachkhand. I'll try to find the source if i can. but in the meantime i just wanted to know if anyone else has heard about this, and what people's opinions are. Saachkhand is supposed to be much better than heaven isn't it.
