  1. damnit! Singh beat me to it :x

I was going to say the same thing, I doubt it if you can do this plain and simple HTML way. You have to use Java, not that difficult, just have to define one function...easier if you got ASP.net

It was a good question though, had me thinking

  2. You get a list you get a bunch of options...Just want to disable some. (Prevent clicking on it etc). It could be argued that the problem is just as easily solved by not listing the item/option, but thats not really what I want accomplished.

Errm yeah it defeats the purpose.

Isn't that code for drop-down as oppose to list box?

  3. We look around and see so many brothers and sisters smoking tobacco (Cigarettes), but, why do we go out and want to be someone were not ? Do you ever see any black or white people trying to be like us (Sikhs)? NO! Because they are proud to be what they are, Unlike US?!!

No, because we are a minority and white's as well as black's (depending on your geographic location) are majority. Most young Sikhs usually fall into the trap of following the norm, and that's where things begin to go wrong. Its just a matter of self-realization along with strong will-power.

  4. GO SENS GO .. thats all i gotta say!!!! (and LEAFS SUCK!!!!) ok anyone else watching the playoffs?!

OMG  did you happen to watch the last game of the season?? Leafs 6 Sens 0!! that was brutal! nevermind that, did you watch last night's game? Belfour was busting his skills out there, and again the score was Leafs 2, Sens 0  and that was Sens home game! lol Its Go Leafs Go! Anyway my prediction is that Leafs won't make it past Round 2, lol, but we shall see. 8)

  5. Sasha ji thanks for your response,

If they need guidance. They can seek guidance. As you know spoon-feeding punjabi tradition doesnt exist anymore!

well thanks for your prompt reply Mr. Singh.

maybe these kids have been spoon fed and are now venturing via net, net being of course, most convenient source yet not so reliable.

Also they cant differentiate between right and wrong source than why start own sikhi website at the first place.

so if one does not possess the knowledge then don't bother with it?

  6. hello ssa, to be honest i think this person is <admin-cut>. No pun intended! Why do I say that, well because I, like the anonymous person who made the initial post just came into Sikhi almost a year ago, and I'm beginning to luv my religion (Sikhism) -- sounds cheeky but its true  Now Hypocrisy seems to be a popular word tossed around loosely nowadays hana, and yeah it exists in our culture, but which religion does it not exist in? eh? it has its presence everywhere, I think. Anyway, all I really wanted to say was to segregate Politics from Religion and learn from the history. Choice is yours, but Sikhi nu abandon karna, I find it hard to believe. I'm sorry.

    Well good luck to ya.
