    Waheguru ji ka Khalsa, Waheguru ji ki Fateh!

    There are at least two groups which believe in a secret physical method of doing Naam Simran. Although Guru Nanak Dev ji explicitly gave his opinion on such techniques in Guru Granth Sahib (Sidh Gosht), they still believe that a certain method is necessary. Guru Nanak Dev ji was against any breathing or other physical techniques i.e. Yoga positions as being necessary for Prem Bhagti - Loving Devotion.
