    22ji please have waheguru mantar being recited or bani 24x7 or as much as possible near little kid :)

    because the kid learns so much at this tender age and refrain from cartoons etc, just 2 cents :)

    rest you can see Thakur singh ji's video for rehat

    and yes i agree please take pabi ji and your kid to take chula of amrit from panj pyaare :)

    and

    put your kid in feet of nirankar Sri Guru granth sahib ji

    as offering

    panj pyaare will name him :)

    i dont know anything about meditation but thought i might share with a new papa ji :D lol

    Back to forum after 3 months......I dont do path like my parents....I am reading whole guru granth sahib(the english translation). I am a totally changed person now.The sound is now easily accesable anytime a want.All tensions seem to have vanished.Life is beautiful.All the rituals are starting to look like pakhands now.Like akhand path before marriages and everywhere else.Like people doing sukhmani sahib everyday and are very pround that they remember it by heart but they never do simran which is supposed to be done everytime.Its like they keep reading about how to swim but never actually try to swim.Recently i went to shri Anandpur sahib.They give saropas to everyone who put Rs 100 or more than that in golak.Now what the hell is that.Guru Nanak dev ji was strictly agaist the pakhands.So whats going on in our religion. I remember when i used to go to gurudwara as a child i only used to understand few things like "Guru maneo Granth" everything used to pass

    above my head.Why cant guru granth sahib be read in simple punjabi translation so that everyone can understand the real deal.Some of you might be really angry by my post.

    yes....I am a clean shaved 23 yr old man.

    And i can keep hair....Just please tell me where is it written in Shri Guru Granth sahib to do it if you want to meet the Lord.Because the only one i will follow is my Guru and the only important work in my life is to meet the Lord everything else is secondary.

    Bani hai guru , guru hai bani

    means

    Bani (the word of the guru) is guru and guru is bani

    our guru's Sri guru Arjjan Dev ji used to put

    Sri Granth Sahib ji on bed and he himsself used to sleep on floor

    its the code of conduct , bani comes from sachkhand from akal purak . the time less god

    we treat it with respect , also please study a bit about culture of ancient punjab as well.

    you will have many answers clarified :)

    Cleanliness and treating bani with respect are very important in sikhism

    Bhenji ,

    Start with helping out in the Gurudwara , like community kitchen

    or anyway you want to + keep reciting waheguru .

    also you can do ardas /prayer to Guru Granth Sahib Ji . to help you out.

    Before you read Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji .

    Please make sure following points

    Please clean your desk and your PC/Laptop

    Please cover your head while you do so.

    Make sure the PC/Laptop is on higher position to where you are sitting.

    Please wash your hands while using it and refrain from using dirty hands

    Bani hai guru ,guru hai bani

    please respect Bani, it is the very form of our guru

    and do an ardas with true heart

    he will listen and make way to grant your wish .

    Veer ji , tusi bahut karmaa wale ho ke tuhanu time milda jaap karanda . Waheguru sab te eho jahi mehar kare

    Sant jarnail singh ji said

    1)your dreams start to come true

    2) you are visited by maharpursh's from past in dream

    3) you can clearly see waheguru in your rom in gold

    4) if you are blessed with abhinashi darshan you will see joot in everyone

    i recently became a singh

    i cry when i read bani , sometimes i feel immense pressure in forehead , like a third eye
