Har Har Naam Sang Thaerai Chalai ||1||

Only the Name of the Lord, Har, Har, will go along with you.

ਹਰਿ ਭਗਤਨ ਕੋ ਨਾਮੁ ਅਧਾਰੁ 

Har Bhagathan Ko Naam Adhhaar 

The Naam, the Name of the Lord, is the anchor and support of the Lord's devotees

ਅਗਮ ਅਗੋਚਰੁ ਅਨਾਥੁ ਅਜੋਨੀ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਏਕੋ ਜਾਨਿਆ ॥

Agam Agochar Anaathh Ajonee Guramath Eaeko Jaaniaa ||

God is Inaccessible and Unfathomable, Unmastered and Unborn; through the Guru's Teachings, I know the One Lord.

ਭਗਤਿ ਭੰਡਾਰ ਗੁਰਬਾਣੀ ਲਾਲ ॥

Bhagath Bhanddaar Gurabaanee Laal ||

Naam Binaa Sabh Jag Hai Mailaa Dhoojai Bharam Path Khoee ||2||

Without the Name, the whole world is polluted; wandering in duality, it loses its honor. ||2||

My Perfect True Guru is my Best Friend, the Primal Being. I do not know any other Lord than Him.

This means, what you wear, or where you go, or the country or community you belong to....that will not take you to His abode... because that has nothing to do with Him...

But What's Inside,That takes U To The TOP...!!!

But how much pure you are, with His divine attiributes....how much you are filled with His Nam....it is that, what is going to take you up up up....up to Him.

Without the Naam, no one is accepted(means, witout Nam one can not approach Wahiguru Akal Purukh, such is His will)

jam pur baaDhay maaree-ah birthaa janam gavaa-ee.
and In the City of Death, they are tied down and beaten, and they lose their lives in vain.

* In spite so much mahima of the truth, and supreme importance of Nam throughout the Bani above all and everything , yet people prefer to remain donkeys and get beaten in the    City of Death.
