Hearing His Name, the Messenger of Death will release you, and yet, you do not take shelter at His Feet!

Raag Maaroo Sree Guru Arjan Dev

*In the verse above, Guru Jee is telling us that by gathering the wealth of His holy Name, and at our time of departure from this world when Dharam Rai´s yamdoots come to take our souls, they run away by seeing the splendour and lightning of that True wealth within us.

Then He also warns us, saying that knowing this fact of the supreme importance of His Name as our boat to be ferried across, yet we do not engage ourselves in that His devotion, but rather,  we prefer to perform many other things thinking them to be valid or substitutes for our spiritual maturity, which as seen throughout the Bani can never ever be so.

His Sachaa Nao, is the only boat to be boarded on,  not as per any man made  orientation, but as per the perfect teachings  of our beloved Guru Sahiban,  for the purpose of  getting ferried across from the mayavee and perishable realms, to that one alone of Supreme and eternal Truth, the one of Satnam.

    ABOUT OUR RELATION WITH GOD

GOD has no phone, still we can converse with HIM.

HE has no Facebook still we can be HIS friend.

HE has no twitter still we can follow HIM.

Talk with GOD , no breath is lost and walk with GOD no strength is lost.

If a man runs with man is called "RACE" and if a man run towards GOD is called "GRACE".

Be bold and offer your heart to be led by GOD.

If you walk and talk with HIM you will  never miss the direction to your divine future.

So, our relation with Him, has to be a relation of true unconditional love

for He accepts nothing, but love alone.

If we can only give Him that our imperfect love though

then too He accepts it and becomes happier

Making Him happy is not that difficult

    Just remember Him

by calling upon Him with His sweet Name.

Veer ji yes i do take naps at day time and they do help a lot with the headaches and migraines. My sleep is ok. I have noticed that when i have distrubed sleep in the past that automatically i got migraines so i am keeping a diary note book of when these are happening the painkillers useage.

I am drinking water as that does help with feeling thirsty along with other fluids like coca cola, ribena, rubicon mango, lemonade, lucozade orange etc which i like a lot lol

Glad to know you get some relief.

And about drinking coke or pepsi, it would be advisable if you avoid it, or substitute it with some fresh lemonades which is more healthier.

You know what, I do also love cokes, but the day I saw that a glass of coke of 100 ml had the quantity of about 8 cubes of sugar, since that day I cut off its intake, for sugar is the mother of many diseases, anyhow brother do as you wish.

    May you keep good health.👍👍👍

  4. Brother Soulfinder,

found this following article  on the net, and thought of sharing it with you.

I know how hard  it is when one goes through such painful phases, so here it goes, hope it helps you in some way.

Migraines: Simple steps to head off the pain

Migraines cause pain as real as the pain of injuries — with one difference: Healthy habits and simple nonmedical remedies sometimes stop migraines before they start.

    By Mayo Clinic Staff

Medication is a proven way to treat — and prevent — migraines. But medication is only part of the story. It's also important to take good care of yourself and understand how to cope with migraine pain when it strikes.

The same lifestyle choices that promote good health can also reduce the frequency and severity of your migraines.

In fact, knowing how to manage migraine pain with lifestyle and behavioral measures, as well as medication, can often be the most effective way to handle migraines.

    Find a calm environment

At the first sign of a migraine, retreat from your usual activities if possible.

    • Turn off the lights. Migraines often increase sensitivity to light and sound. Relax in a dark, quiet room. Sleep if you can.
    • Try temperature therapy. Apply hot or cold compresses to your head or neck. Ice packs have a numbing effect, which may dull the sensation of pain. Hot packs and heating pads can relax tense muscles. Warm showers or baths may have a similar effect.
    • Drink a caffeinated beverage. In small amounts, caffeine alone can relieve migraine pain in the early stages or enhance the pain-reducing effects of acetaminophen (Tylenol, others) and aspirin.

Be careful, however. Drinking too much caffeine too often can lead to withdrawal headaches later on.

    Sleep well

Migraines may keep you from falling asleep or wake you up at night. Likewise, migraines are often triggered by a poor night's sleep.

Here are some tips to encourage sound sleep.

    • Establish regular sleep hours. Wake up and go to bed at the same time every day — even on weekends. If you nap during the day, keep it short. Naps longer than 20 to 30 minutes may interfere with nighttime sleep.
    • Unwind at the end of the day. Anything that helps you relax can promote better sleep: listen to soothing music, soak in a warm bath or read a favorite book.

But watch what you eat and drink before bedtime. Intense exercise, heavy meals, caffeine, nicotine and alcohol can interfere with sleep.

    • Minimize distractions. Save your bedroom for sleep and intimacy. Don't watch television or take work materials to bed. Close your bedroom door. Use a fan to muffle distracting noises.
    • Don't try to sleep. The harder you try to sleep, the more awake you'll feel. If you can't fall asleep, read or do another quiet activity until you become drowsy.
    • Check your medications. Medications that contain caffeine or other stimulants — including some medications to treat migraines — may interfere with sleep.

    Eat wisely

Your eating habits can influence your migraines. Consider the basics:
    • Be consistent. Eat at about the same time every day.
    • Don't skip meals. Fasting increases the risk of migraines.
    • Keep a food journal. Keeping track of the foods you eat and when you experience migraines can help identify potential food triggers.
    • Avoid foods that trigger migraines. If you suspect that a certain food — such as aged cheese, chocolate, caffeine or alcohol — is triggering your migraines, eliminate it from your diet to see what happens.

    Exercise regularly

During physical activity, your body releases certain chemicals that block pain signals to your brain. These chemicals also help alleviate anxiety and depression, which can make migraines worse.

Obesity also increases the risk of chronic headaches, so maintaining a healthy weight through exercise and diet can provide additional benefits in managing migraines.

If your doctor agrees, choose any exercise you enjoy. Walking, swimming and cycling are often good choices. But it's important to start slowly. Exercising too vigorously can trigger migraines.

    Manage stress

Stress and migraines often go hand in hand. You can't avoid daily stress, but you can keep it under control to help manage your migraines:
    • Simplify your life. Rather than looking for ways to squeeze more activities or chores into the day, find a way to leave some things out.
    • Manage your time wisely. Update your to-do list every day — both at work and at home. Delegate what you can, and divide large projects into manageable chunks.
    • Take a break. If you feel overwhelmed, a few slow stretches or a quick walk may renew your energy for the task at hand.
    • Adjust your attitude. Stay positive. If you find yourself thinking, "This can't be done," switch gears. Think instead, "This will be tough. But I can make it work."
    • Enjoy yourself. Find time to do something you enjoy for at least 15 minutes every day. It could be playing a game, having coffee with a friend or pursuing a hobby. Doing something you enjoy is a natural way to combat stress.
    • Relax. Deep breathing from your diaphragm can help you relax. Focus on inhaling and exhaling slowly and deeply for at least 10 minutes every day. It may also help to consciously relax your muscles, one group at a time. When you're done, sit quietly for a minute or two.

    Keep a migraine diary

A diary may help you determine what triggers your migraines. Note when your migraines start, what you were doing at the time, how long they last and what, if anything, provides relief.

Until recently, avoiding migraine triggers was considered the best advice. But new research suggests this may actually increase sensitivity to potential triggers.

A more useful approach may be to learn to cope with these headache triggers by using behavioral management techniques, such as identifying and challenging negative thoughts, relaxation training and stress reduction.

What is the history of Sankat Mochan (or Sharda Pooran Granth, as it is sometimes known)?

The legend is that the shabads and associated siddhis were compiled by Bhai Mani Singh for sangat who complained that they had to go to Brahmins, Tantrics and Pirs to get the solution to problems in their lives, and that Sankat Mochan was written to break this reliance that some had on these religious charlatans.

If this is the case, why are there different versions of Sankat Mochan, and why was it created when the general concensus in Sikhi seems to be that doing jaap for rewards like the one's described in the book is not congruent with the teachings of the Gurus?

If you feel that the shabads do have the siddhis associated with them, and that one can recite the shabads for specific purposes as suggested in the book, why is there such a stigma attached to the use of this book? Why do more Sikhs not perform the sadhanas described to improve their lives and that of the Panth as a whole?

    Regards,

    K.

    Brother Kalijug

in reality Sankat Mochan is the Bani itself, for the purpose of Guru Sahiban, Bhagat Jan and Gurmukh Jan, is to deliever us from the biggest sankat in which one can ever find oneself.

Everything else is secondary in comparison to that real sankat, for everything derives from that first and fundamental sankat. Thus solving that sankat, everything else fades out by itself.

So now the question is, what is that real "sankat"?

That real sankat, is the reality, that we are prisoners in the wheel of 84.  In which sometimes rarely we are up,  and mostly down. But in any case, very much prisoners in it.

The purpose of Gurbani, is nothing more than that of awakening us to that Higher and Ultimate Truth of Waheguru,  then,  by  relying on His kirpa, do the real thing and free ourselves, to finally merge and become one with Him.

    That is it.

So what is that real thing of freeing ourselves from the real "sankat" in which we are deeply rooted?

That real thing is the bhakti of H:is Saacha  Nao.

In that respect, the Bani tells us : Prabh ka Simran garb na baseh. His Saacha Nao, is our liberator, for it literally cuts off our strings with the "chaurasee ka chakar".

And the beauty is not only that one of freeing us, but, also reuninting us with our Origin / Waheguru Akal Purukh, for once and forever .

Is this not enough for us to be always happy and never ever feel discouraged?  What more grace do we want?  Why wsate away our life by keeping looking here and there when the way is laid for us by Maharaj?  Then too, we complain and say, Guru Jee why me, when we are in moments of pain and distress?

Gurbani is crystal clear  in what we must really do, then, if we do not follow implicity what Guru Jee tells us throughout the Bani, then who is to be blamed ? Waheguru the all merciful, or we the  proud "moorakhs"?

The answer is quite clear and obvious, it is we, the " moorakh manmukhs".

Throughout our lives, we may expirement some type of inner experiences with different techniques, which we may find them fascinating, but, if we do nothing  in terms of doing that real thing of reuinting our surtees with our Origin, then pitifully, we have  done nothing, for we have wasted away our precious human life, thus we remain prisoners in the "sankat" of the wheel of 84.

    Stay blessed.

I do not exactly know the answer, but I strongly feel it is in their genes, since so many centuries, mainly due to the root cause of their so called  "beleifs", this diplomatic word is used in order to avoid the correct  word for it,  which maybe strong for some, and thus create conflicts.

    Brother H908 Jee,

It is  true, Maharaj knows everything and controls everything in a way, but yes, it is we humans that we misbehave under the evil influences of the mind, and for that each one has to pay for. And if f that was the case of Maharaj, why does He allow eartquakes, and other alike disasters...

He has given us sense, he has given us "budh" to use it, we just can not keep quite and say, well as Maharaj knows everything, let it happen....

Suppose, some thieves come at your home, and threat you, your wife or parents, will you keep quiet, or will you do all possible to face them and avoid that injustice?

You see bro, we have to help as much as possible, to the weaker ones.

For example, there is a tiger in a village,  we all know that the tiger can come and eat us at any time.  Or any of our neigbours,  so what do the authorities do? They go and kill the tiger  for the safety of the people.

In a similar way, if we know who these bastards are, would it not be advisable to give them lifetime sentence ....

When I said to gun them down, it was an allegory ....

usually I am quite peaceful, but when one sees so much crime and unjustice against the weak, our girls, our women, drugs,  frauds,  or be it any other unjustice, against anybody and anywhere,  I just can not see it, it makes me temperamental, wanting to wipe out all these filthy worms.

    That is it.

And why me alone, but I think anyone with just a little bit of heart and humanity,  can easily get altered with these untjustices.

We all know, there are a lot of cruel people out there in the world;  but specially these ones, from the  PLACE  where they come from, it is like a factory of creating unending and shameless monsters-criminals in huge quantities ..... Just sickening and abhorrent.

    Char padarath, je ko mange

Sadh jana ki, seva lage ||

    Char padarth are known as:

    1. Dharam - Discipline. Understanding of his or her duties i.e virtues(Ethics)

    2. Arath - Assets. he or she has no shortage of money, precious metals, pearls etc & has obtained the desired wealth.

    3. Kaam - Desire. His or her all desired gets fulfilled from marriage to children.

    4. Moksh - Liberation. He or she attains emancipation.

After reading the above pankti it just seems like marg of sadh jana ki seva is also parvan in Sikhi. Now main question comes down to, what is context of seva of sadh jana in this above pankiti? is it simply doing seva of singular sadh? or is it doing seva of everyone seeing jot of sadh/murshid in everyone? or above pankiti means seva of sadh sangat/sat sangat.

    Please discuss..! :sikh:

    Just my 2 cents:

Though the chaar padaraths are very  well defined in the post above...  and about the question of Sadh janaa kee seva laage... I think it refers to,  as stated in the Bani also when Guru Jee says: Satgur kee seva safal hae, jeko karay chit laavay.

Sadh Jan, are also advanced spiritual beings, of high avastha,  who have reached that spiritual maturity, and have attained all that a jeev atma wants ast the physical level, which is to have all the 4 padarths achieved, and which can be fulfilled, by His grace, for He (as our mother or father) takes special care of these needs of His bhagat jan. He gives them inner satisfaction, so that do not feel perturbered , and continue with their Bhakti without fail.

As the Bani says: Nanak dukheeya sabh snasaar, se sukheeya jin Nam adhaar. O Nanak, the whole world is in distress, is unhappy, only that being who holds on to Nam is truly happy...

So naturally, the sewa which any true Sadh Jan, as well as Guru Sahiban will ever tell us to do, is the one of attaching our surtees with that Highest and  ultimate Truth, the one of Nam, the one of Satnam, it can´t  be any otherwise, look it from any perspective.

COVID 19,  seen from a Buddhist perspective

    Disciple:

Master, it is so difficult for me to understand that the Father has sent us such an aggressive virus. What is the purpose?

    Teacher:

The Father does not command it. It allows it, which is different. The pandemic was generated by man through the constant violation of universal laws.

    Disciple:

But something so bad, is going to cause a lot of destruction.

    Teacher:

Coronavirus is not bad. It is not good either. It is necessary, it is different. There is nothing wrong with the universe. If the coronavirus is present it is because it is allowed by Divinity, or it could not exist.

The idea of good and evil is generated in your mind that judges from its file of ignorance an event that in itself is neutral.

    Disciple:

But so many people are being infected in the world, or are going to be left without even having anything to eat....  So many children, the elderly, men and women..... It is quite unfair.

    Teacher:

The term unjust does not exist within universal love. That exists only in your mind that does not understand the purpose that is deep in it.

What does exist is the just, the precise, the exact, the corresponding. There is a necessary evolutionary process that consists of a constant collection of information. A learning through facing the difficulties that life presents us, so that in the midst of the chaos and suffering that is generated, we discover the principle of love that is found in life itself. And this principle of love is what will free us from human limitations, and will make us correspond with experiences of much more satisfaction and harmony.

You have to understand that nobody experiences an experience that does not correspond to him. And if it corresponds to him, he will live it, even when he struggles or resists. Coronavirus is not bad. It is very good, since many people are learning from it. The level of consciousness of the planet is rising, seeing us in the need to develop great tools of love such as acceptance, appreciation and adaptation. Patience, tolerance, and respect.

It may be a difficult test, but it is not bad. You are growing thanks to it. If you stop seeing the coronavirus from your fears, and start to see it from your understanding, you will be able to recognize the value that there is in it. So you can pass this test that life is presenting to you.

The decision is in you, and for that,  life gave you a Free Will.

You have been given the power to make decisions, and these will be respected by the entire universe. You can give a choice of fear, pride and ego.

Or you can give it to love. The choice is yours. It's on you!

What decision are you making? Did you choose fear, or love?

The decision is yours, but it will have a result, which is also yours, and you will have to assume.

If you decided on fear, you will generate destruction in your peace within, in your vital energy, in your relationships, and in your health.

If you decided for love, you will pass the test that life is presenting to you, and you will no longer need to suffer again.

Give love the option. The way is always love.

    Disciple:

And what is giving the option to love?

    Teacher:

    - Become an imperturbable being. Invulnerable. Work on yourself, so that your peace and happiness do not depend on the external world.

    - Stop seeing problems, and start seeing opportunities that you can take advantage of to do the  inner growth.

    - Develop acceptance. "Everything that happens is perfect, and if it exists and happens it is because it has a purpose." "Father, may your will be done, and not mine." "Show me how I can serve you better."

    - Learn to flow and adapt. Act wisely instead of reacting from fear.

    - Watch your thought so that it only vibrates in the frequency of love. This will bring you clarity of mind.

    - Do not share your fears with others. Share only your enthusiasm and your joy.

    - Watch your words.

May your word create harmony, and make others feel confident and secure.

Difficulties are not solved by fighting them.

Befriend the coronavirus. Do not see it as a bad thing, but as something necessary.

And talk to him: "What are you teaching me?" "You are valuable to me and I am willing to learn what you can teach me."

"As soon as I learn you can leave because I will no longer need you."

Take advantage of the opportunity that life is presenting to you right now, to do the interior job ...

What I noticed is that they sometimes take a while to expose themselves and act interested in Sikh debates, but after a while (When they think they have duped everyone) the off comments start coming in. Sometimes they way they might swear (or spell certain Panjabi words/phrases) gives them away - but that's if you have knowledge of these things. Growing up around a lot of them gives you insights into their thinking and dialects.

Maybe some UK Sikhs are clued up about this, but people in other places like Canada or US need to be conscious of it.  I think people here have clocked the strategies of appealing to some common factor too, like caste (usually jut) or Panjabiness to get people's guards down. A lot of Canadian apnay seem primed to fall for the former strategy because they seem to have a stronger caste identity than a dharmic one.

We need to give such people a short thrift once identified, and also be on guard. They rely on us just moseying around oblivious.

It would be best to put all these bastards against a wall and fire them with a machine gun.

They have no right to live, for as long as they are alive, they will continue with their atrocities against humanity.

Thank you for your reply harsharan00 SSA,

I am making progress here. It has brought some insight into importance of Karma and as such I have now a few points on your comments perhaps you could further clarify them.

You mentioned that Guru Sahiban, Gurmukhs,  and Bhagat Jan of highest order come in human form.

Question - As a child they would have been educated and taken to such teachers who initiuated them in te practices of Sikhi, meditation or a form of yoga/tai chi? So these individuals would the potential in them to exceed in these teachings surpass their teachers (in fact their teachers would probably know this prior to intiation) at a very young age. This would coincide with the many gurus that have left thier mark in sikhism and hinduism.

If I understand you correctly the path of sikhi has been created like many other teachings to guide us through our Karma with the wisdom to not be attatched to many attractions that you can obtain, attractions such shaktees/siddhis, the trinity, devtays etc to persevere to your true home the source from where you came from Waheguru Akal Purukh, am I correct here? - please try to explain like a six year will understand.

During in this journey, do you realise your true identity your soul and from here progress further through the forms of consciousness to realise your true source, do you see other souls and understand the nature of Karma? - hence why so many gurus describe karma and its nature in such similar ways. Again I ask this question from a differnt point - Does an individual who is receiving a lot of negative karma from others (this is an incorrect kamic action (free will - as you descibe) who has the potential to progress through these teachings rapidly with the guidance of a teacher make this person a spiritual adept.

Would it be correct to theorise that teachers can identify spiritual adepts by recognising thier Karma thorugh challenges they have in life personally and also by society combined with their pottential to progress in the teachings in meditation given by a teacher? Esentially these physical characteristics can be a mirror to an individuals soul, depictng whether they are a spritual adept etc (not a master, god, devtayy etc as you describe)?

Nature of Karma in action - what I mean to ask here is through our free will we have been given this life to have the opportunity to add to our a store house of Karma possitive Karma - all good possitive deeds (note - this does not mean you sacrifice an individual or even the poor and innocent for the greater good), these possitive deeds will manafest them selves through the spnaneous express of nature either in this life or the next huamn life form?

Your comment- "So this karma theory is the secret of maintaing the creation in motion" this provokes me to think there must be indviduals who have obtained knowledge of this secret, are there? and is there a creator of this karma? finally do you know of any stories that describe indiduals meeting with the creator of karma?

I thank you all in advance for your prompt response to my question.

    Best Regards and Wahe Guru,

    Jitsingh Gojra

1)You are most welcome Brother Jitsingh Gojra.

    2) Sometime ago I read a story of Fith Patshahee´s childhood.  Once He was playing with a ball, which rolled down under the bed of His nana Sri AmarDas Maharaj where He was sleeping. The "boy came and took the ball and went away, but somehow moved a bit the bed where Guru Jee was sleeping, so suddenly He woke up and asked His daughter what had happened as she was around, to which she told her Father what had exactly happened, upon hearing this, Sree Guru Amar Das Maharaj smiled and said, someday He will lift the world. By this we understand, that one day He will be  Guru Sahiban.

Maybe upon worldly and some other spheres, the students may surpass their teachers, but in the real spiritual realms and while talking about the highest level consciousness, such as Guru Sahiban, Gurmukh jan and Bhagat Jan, this is not the case, for all of them are as waves of that same Ocean, which regularly  come to the seashore to pick up those little drops (souls) who are ready to return in the Father after fulfilling their true bhakti as per Gurbani, thus ready to merge in that their Origin Waheguru Akal Purukh.

No drop can go and merge into the Ocean by itself, nor that huge Infinite can take those drops and merge into Itself, unless, that very Inmense Ocean becomes a wave first. The wave may seem apart from the Ocean for a time being, but actually it is not, for while being at the seashore, it has not cut off itself from that Ocean from which it has emerged, rather it is very much a part of that Ocean. That is why, that wave and those drops, which the wave has wrapped in itself, all together merge and become one with that Mighty Immense  Ocean.

Another example is, all these pure spiritual beings mentioned above have the same intensity of Jot of Waheguru in them, thus none is superior, all are same, they have the same wisdom, the same love and mercy of Waheguru in them.

in this respect the Bani says: Guru meree pooja, Guru Gobind, Guru mera Parbrahm, Guru bhagwant.

These spiritual Masters as Guru Sahiban, Gurmukhs and Bhagat Jan, out of His beant mercy, and under His Hukum, come for only one purpose, which is of awakening us from our deep lethargy of Maya and reveal us the mysteries of that one universal Supreme Truth, which is Nam/Shabad/Amrit Bani/ Anhad Naad.... all different terms, but pointers to that same eternal reality or Truth of Satnam.

Regarding this One universal Supreme Truth  the Bani tells us:

    ਨਾਮੁ ਵਿਸਾਰਿ ਚਲਹਿ ਅਨ ਮਾਰਗਿ ਅੰਤ ਕਾਲਿ ਪਛੁਤਾਹੀ ॥੭॥
Naam Visaar Chalehi An Maarag Anth Kaal Pashhuthaahee ||7||
Forgetting the Naam, the Name of the Lord, they walk on other paths, and at the very last moment, they regret and repent.

    ਤੀਰਥਿ ਭਰਮੈ ਰੋਗੁ ਨ ਛੂਟਸਿ ਪੜਿਆ ਬਾਦੁ ਬਿਬਾਦੁ ਭਇਆ
Theerathh Bharamai Rog N Shhoottas Parriaa Baadh Bibaadh Bhaeiaa ||
Wandering around at sacred shrines of pilgrimage, the mortal is not cured of his disease. Reading scripture, he gets involved in useless arguments.

Raag Bhaira-o Guru Nanak Dev  ANG 1153

    3) Christ said: I have come to collect the marked sheep by my Father. My sheep will recgnize my whistle.

Sree Guru Nanak Dev tells us

bin bhaagaa satsang na paa-ee-ai, karam milai har naam haree.

Without good destiny, the Sat Sangat, the True Congregation, is not obtained.   By the grace of one's good karma, the Lord's Name is received.

With this their Gurparsad of Guru Jee, we learn how to elevate and extrincate ourselves from the web of karmas, thus only becoming karmaless (whether good or bad ), can we ever merge in our Origin Satnam.

4,5,6) The soul can only know its true identity by elevating within and crossing the real of Brahm, after discarding its 3 coverings of physicl, astral and causal  bodies, then the soul shines in its original form, and heads towards its origin Satnam to finally merge and become one with that One supreme and etrenal Truth.

We are all spiritual adepts, whether a sadhoo or a heavy sinner, waheguru has kept the bhandaar of Namm within each and every being in the same measure, it is only neede to turn ourselves towards it, and taste that Amrit within us, in order to become pure paviter and be worthy to merge in Him.

Guru Jee says:  Nanak dukheeya sab sansaar, se sukheeya jin Nam adhaar. With this He means,  anyone who meditates and attaches his/her surtee to Nam within, is the one really happy, otherwise  all are under the laws of good and bad karmas. Good karmas are like golden chains around our necks, fot still we are prisoners in the mayavee creation. Bad karmas make us suffer already.

So Guru Jee, teaches us, how to arise ourselves above karmas and become karmaless, while fulfilling our worldy duties, we are not to run at isolated places nor lock ourselves, but like swans, while being in the pond, they can fly at will. we too while living amidts the world and fullfiling our duties as parents, spouses, workers, etc, should engage in His loving meditation and be at His Lotus Feet, in order to remain detached from worldly entanglements and return back Home desireless. For desires are chains which pull us back into the creation  again and again.

    7) As said above,  the creator of Karma is Kal Purukh.  I would suggest you to read a magnificent book of Bhagat Kabir Sahib titled Anurag Sagar, you may find it on the net. It claerly deals with the all aspects of Creation, who is Satnam, Shabad, how Kal Purukh came into existence.... but in the end, it is would be better to say, He is the doer, He watches over His khel, but anyhow, we have nothing to do or look for the creator of karmas, but,  look for only and only the Creator, Waheguru Akal Purukh. At our present level, even if were expalined the reasons of the creation, we would never understand, for the architect of all craetion is beyond the reach of mind/intellect, and maya, so better when we reach there we ask Him then, but for sure, for then, nobody would care for all thses answers, for we shall be one with His Hukum.

Take care  and stay blessed .

    SOME REFLECTIONS

Do not consider this as ISOLATION/Lockdown having to stay at home with whom we love.

Isolation is what the seriously ill are experiencing in hospital.

Stop saying that you are bored, upset that you can't leave the house; while everyone in the hospital wants to go home.

So, thank God if you have to stay at home, because despite everything, with money or without money, with a job or without a job, you are in the best place you could be, at home, surrounded by who loves you!

Perhaps it is time to transform your house into a wonderful place to stay, a place of peace and not of war, of embrace and not of distance.

Anyway, look with different eyes at the situation you are experiencing !!

Make your house a party: Listen to music, sing, dance......

Make your house a temple: Pray, pray, meditate, ask, thank, praise, plead ...

Make your home a school: Read, write, draw, paint, study, learn, teach ...

Make your house a store: Clean, order, organize, decorate, label, move, sell, donate ...

Make your house a restaurant: cook, eat, try, create recipes, grow spices, plant a garden ...

    Anyway ...
make your house, your family, a place of love."

Make the best possible use of this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity....!

I used to be a non-veg.  When I was pregnant with my first baby, I was cooking chicken drumsticks one day. I had a sudden thought that my baby would have similar size legs and what if somebody cooks my baby and say something like-'yeah its tasty or no its yuck.'  It was very difficult to get rid of that thought afterwards.  First I stopped eating the pieces (only tari), and gradually stopped everything.  I could not stand chicken or any meat's cooking smell now. Both my sons are vegetarian too. yeahhhh

    👏👏👏

    Well done.

    Congrats.

Hi all, I need some help with extreme feelings of guilt and regret. Basically, I’m a 17 year old girl who sinned and lied a lot in my childhood. From the ages of 8-13, I would talk behind my friends back with others and then I woild go to my friend and tell them everything the other person said about them while acting like I never said anything even when I did. I betrayed the trust of many of my friends and hurt them. I feel so guilty now and I honestly feel so bad for how I’ve hurt others.

For example, when I was a 12 year old in grade 7, I had a friend who I’ll call B for now, and basically B and I talked behind another girls back, I’ll call that girl N. I was friends with N but I guess I was angry at her so I gossiped with B. I then went to N and I told her what B said about her, all while acting like I said nothing. I lied and made it seem like B was a terrible person who talked about N and I made it seem like I was completely innocent. I even deleted some of the messages where I talked about N with B and showed N so it looked like i was a good innocent friend while B was a bad friend. I lied to B and told her that I told N that both of us talked behind her back. I lied many times and manipulate my friends. I feel so bad. At the time I didn’t even know how bad what I was doing was.

I’m 17 years old now and I feel disgusting. I feel like the worst human being ever. At such a young age, I manipulated my friends, betrayed their trust, hurt them, and lied all the time. All while I thought I was innocent. I have apologized to those friends and they have kindly forgiven me. I feel like I deserve no forgiveness because I’m disgusting for my past manipulative actions. For the past three years, I think I have been a good person and have avoided gossiping or hurting anyone. I feel shame when I look at my parents because they always raised me with such good morals and values and they think of me as such a good daughter because I get good grades and listen to them. However they have no idea about the bad kid I used to be and how I used to betray my friends. I wake up every morning disgusted by myself and I don’t think God will ever forgive me. I had so many dreams of getting a good job when I grew up so I could help the world and I wanted to grow up and start a family where I could raise my future children to be good people but now that I’ve become aware of my past actions I feel disgusting and think I don’t deserve any of my dreams coming true. I hurt so many other girls and I don’t think Waheguru will forgive me because I sinned so much at such a young age. Please help and provide some insight on what you think. Thank you.

    Pen Jee,

be happy for Waheguru has raised your consciousnes/awareness. Do not waste any more time. Learn from your mistakes and move forward faithfully.

If we are boolanhaar, He is sadah bakshanhaar.

So take refuge in Him as soon as possible, and stay safe and cheerful at all times, this is His apaar wadeeayee.

His holy Name, has 2 sided effects, first it cleans us by washing all our sins, and secondly at the same time  attracts us towards Him as a magnet, thus we get closer and closer to Him.

    Stay blessed.

  16. The main thing here is respect. Whether we agree on something or not, that should not be the base to laugh at someone or insult him/her.

For once one bad word is said, that triggers more anger and hatred, then usually one loses the inner balance and is lost in nonsense.

We are all members here, and absolutely all are respectable, right from A to Z.

So please let us be careful, by addressing each other with utter respect, it costs nothing man.

We need not agree with everyone, so what?

    Are we mad?

I know there are people who are narcissist, or like bullying, creating conflicts,  being negative, jealousy,  short minded, to them, a request is placed to leave away, and let the rest of the members stay in peace and harmony.

We all come here to share, and to learn something, so please let us behave.

Being polite and respectful costs nothing, rather it strengthens human values.

Is there any stage in which sound current is stopped ?

The Sound Current never stops, as we know it is also known as Anhad Bani, or Unstruck Melody/Sound Current, which means ringing non stop; Sound beyond measure.

If ever we find it stopped, that for sure is that our attention or focus has slipped away.

Otherwise the Sound and the Jot from that Shabad Dhun are always there, whether we are conscious or not, whether we see or not, whether we hear or not, but that Sound Current is always there, that is the wonder of wonders.....Waheguru Akal Purukh.

*In the 2 verses above from the Bani, Guru Jee is telling us that man has no power to do anything right, unless He, Himself, blesses that wadbhagee jeeva with His kirpa to act accordingly.
