    -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------1) does anybody know what are the effects of doing paath of chandi di var ?

    2) I have heard from many people that you should not do this path becus it is very strict and can cause troubles . can u please explain this ?

    3) does anybody here know the true maryada of doing Chandi di vaar da path .?

  2. I give utmost respect to GURBANi and i have full faith in it that it does effect our lives very much but during doing nitnem i don't feel any special .

    but sure , when i read aloud path i feel something like prem or shradha for guru ji sometimes .

    i really am very sad thattt i have nothing special in my life like having darshan of guru ji or shaheed singhs or other mystical creatures , avasthas etc . that is because i m unable to do hard work iin doing simran .

    i barely manage to complete panj baanian everyday and that too with guru ji's kirpa otherwise i m nothing . i m very paapi and the worst guy in the whole universe or on earth . i think my life is just a waste . i can't make guru ji proud of me or impress HIM because i don't follow his hukam .

    i m a moorakh and know nothing . these days i m really very depresssed .

    i m so paapi even the narks (hell) will not be able to handle me .

  3. Dhan Baba Ishar Singh Ji mharaj

    Once upon a time in Nanaksar Thaath gurudwara , There were 28 day- sampat path going on . The maryada of these paths is very strict .

    This was a lot of jap tap going on .

    But kalyug wants that people should not do bhakti . he wants them to indulge in vishe vikar .

    so he tried to bhang the path by posing many problems in front of paathis ingh . Baba ji were in charge of these paths going on .

    So wt happened .

    Pathi singhs were doing path from guru ji.Kalyug made a roop of a very big wild bull . He tried to scare the pathis . He started running towards them to kill them or scare them . baba ji knew wt ws going on .

    he immeditaely transformed into a very big white colored lion .

    The lion ws pure white . and the nails on the paws were of golden color . The tail was like a razo sharp sword .

    And the kalyug was scared out of his senses and so afraid that he ran away .

    In this way babaji helped in preventing any mishappening .

    baba nand singh ji had already told baba ji that kalyug is always scared of the path of sukhmani sahib .so baba ji had alreday started 24 hrs sukhmani sahib in a separate room near sarovar in nanaksar jagraon .

  4. Sant Baba Gurbachan Singh Ji and The Naamdhari's

    One time, 108 Bhram Giani Mahpursh Sant Baba Gurbachan Singh Ji Khalsa and the entire Jatha where staying at Sachkhand Sri Hajoor Sahib. At the same time a large Naamdhari Jatha had reserved rooms at Gurdhwara Sahib not knowing that Mahpursh and Jatha where also staying there.

    The Naamdhari's where given stage time, and did katha and many members of the jatha where taken back by the preechar done. During Ardaas, premi's who where doing Joryaan di Sevaa, ran away as they did not want to hear the blamsemphous ardaas of the Naamdhari's, who did not beleive in Sahib Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji as the jag-di-jot of Sahib Sri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib Ji.

    The premi's quickly ran over and sat with Mahpursh. No one dared to say a word to mahpursh Baba Gurbachan Singh Ji, out of fear, as any talk outside of gurbani was not tolerated, and Mahpursh where always in a state of doing, or listening to Gurbani and no one would dare interupt it. The Singhs all sat with mahpursh wondering what should be done, and how the Naamdhari's should be dealt with.

    Later in the evening diwan Sant Mahpursh Bhram Giani Sant Baba Gurbachan Singh Ji Khalsa, sat on stage and did Katha. Just by listening to the Katha the Naamdhari's realized who Mahpursh where (A true Sikh of Sahib Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji). The Katha hit deep down and the unfatmoable arth of Sahib Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji stung at the hearts of the Naamdhari's. Without wasting any time they all got there stuff together and ran away from Sri Hajoor Sahib Ji.

    Morale:

    Many times we see parkhandhi babbay running prechaar against Sahib Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. Quickly we are triggered to being angry and becoming hot headed. In this day and age espeically countless numbers of people are doing beadbi of Maharaaj and not conforming to parataan Rehat. By becoming angry and hot headed we are all causing fire, and likewise getting burned. Sahib Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji is above all, they are untouchable and above all, it is no doubt our duty as the sons and daughters of Sahib Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji to have shardaa and respect towards Maharaaj, however acting out and acting rash is of no use to anyone.

    The real way to act, should be to simply get on stage and do prechaar and Gurbani itself will teach and sting at the hearts of those doing wrong doings. Full faith in Gurbani should always be held. As Gurbani itself is above all, who are we to protect it? We can only simply ask for Gurbani to protect us. Many times we feel we need to protect Gurbani from evil mahaants, but just as children who get angry at someone teasing our parents, we fail to realize that this calling of names etc, is only bringing the other person down and weighing down on there own karm.

    a very good question . All the gurbani is same and has no difference. but still u know there are different banis for different occasions and each bani has its own effect ,

    for eg

    if u r a regular nitnemi of lots of japji sahib paths , it helps in getting brahmgyan .

    if u do a lot of paths of anand sahib it helps in getting u anand .

    if u do chopai sahib it helps in getting u beer ras .

    if u do a lot of jap sahib , it helps in increasing ur personalty and ur tej or prakash.

    if u do sukhmani , it helps in getting u all the sukkhs , protecting u , meeting u with the sants and then uniting with GOD .

    as compared to other banis it is much easier to understand for moorakh bande like us .

    and if u do 1 sukhmani sahib da path in whole day , all the 24000 breaths u took during the day will become safal or successfull.

    guru sahib are not saints . THey R GOD...............

    even the dogs of guru Nanak have so much power that if u touch the charan dhoor of their feet u willl become saint .

    guru ji r not saints they r so much above that . they r sargun saroop of GOD .they have the power of making saints .

  7. hmm, the aim of a sikh is to reach waheguru by following the teachings of Guru Granth sahib jee. Sants arent needed to be able to reach waheguru as we have Guru Granth sahib jee. However, Sants and gursikhs as Neo has pointed out later in the post, help you understand the word of Guru Granth sahib jee.

    i personally think sants, jathas etc add a lot of heirachy to sikhi. When its supposed to be just, two main steps

    It is very difficult for a person to reach guru ji without the sangat of true sants or kirpa from a pooran murshad .

    it is said that we need guru ji to meet with god . and we have our guru ji .

    but still according to me it is compulsory to have a pooran murshad to meet with guru ji . since you meet with guru ji u automatically unite with god .

    murshad is necessary .

    examples :

    baba Nand singh ji became pooran through his murshad baba maha harnam singh ji bhucho kalan wale .

    baba ishar singh ji kaleran wale became pooran through baba nand singh ji .

    baba ishar singh ji rare sahib wale became pooran through his murshad sant attar singh ji reru sahib wale .

    there r also amny examples .

    MURSHADS r necessary .

    And the murshad that you choose you should also be POORA brahmgyani .

    i don't think you will find such murshads easily . they r very rare . they r gupt . only if u have bhagti then u can be able to meet them .

    saints r very necessary . only true saints .

  8. It is 100% true that guru ji beheaded panj pyare in front of everybody . They wanted to test the braveness of the peole . A lot of people at that time were scared to see all that and ran away but those with faith stayed their and The five chosen ones gave their heads to guru ji .

    When Sant Jarnail Singh ji were saying not to bow before anyone he was referring to dehdhari babae like nirankaris , namdharis etc . who had started their own gurgaddis .

    It is the bachan of Baba nand singh ji that you should do sangat of those mahapurakhs who connect you with guru ji but stay away from those who connect you with themselves in order to make more money like nadharis , nirankaris or narakdhari , radha soami , satsang beas dera , dhesiaan etc .

    u should eware from these dehdhari babae . they r fake .

    but tere is nothing wrong in bowing to pooran sants like baba ishar singh ji , baba nand singh ji , etc ,

    gurabani also emphasize on doind sangat of sadhus and mahapurakhs.

    sad sand bhaj kewal naam

    sad ka sang mukh oojal hot

    sad kae sang bhuje prabh nera
