Baba Nand Singh ji has been given the status of shiromani of all sants by Guru Gobind SINGH ji in sau sakhi .

" nand singh garja singh aadi jin laaj panth ki saaji "

his name comes first in the list of all sants told by Guru ji in sau sakhi .

Now i know some moorakh people r gonna start debating on this topic that sau sakhi is not authentic .

we cannot say anything about the lives of sant mahaourash because we r kalyugi jeevs and moorakh bande . we don't have that much skills to praise the m .

but still i will try to some of the major tasks done by baba ji .

This special duty was given to him from dargah :

1 ) to reveal the true maryada of doing Seva of Mahan Guru Granth Sahib Ji maharaj

2) to reveal the maryada of gupt sampat and akhand paths .

3) to prepare the painting of sargun saroop of Nirankar

( original saroop of Guru Nanak Dev Ji )

there would crores more tasks done by him about which we do not know .

I know someone who took Amrit from Nanaksar and said the panj pyaare were not wearing kirpaans even during the Amrit sanchaar.

I don't think this is true . Because a year ago when i took amrit from nanaksar jagraon (main centre) panj pyare including everybody was wearing kirpans.

I will tell you my experience .

The maryada told by the panj pyare to keep rehat was same like told by damdami taksal . They also gave pressure on not removing any of the panj kakkars , if by mistake it happens do 2 sukhmani sahib paths and ask for bhul chuk and do ardas.

it is compulsory to wear kirpan .

I do not know why some of the behangams do not wear them . I do not know about that .

I think that even Baba Nand Singh Ji didn't wear any kirpan .

He remained as God told him to .

When he used to do bhakti he used to wear a very big kachera of 2 gaj and a kara . Then one day GOD ordered him to wear a white chola and a white dastar . From their started the maryada of wearing white choles and dastars in Nanaksar .

Actually we cannot say anything about the maryadas started by brahmgyanis . we r moorakh kalyugi jeev and we cannot say anything about them .

Its better if we just follow wt thwy say instead of arguing with them .

have u ever noticed that all the nit avatars , Guru Jis , saints , brahmgyanis , fakirs , bhagats ,mahatma buddh , mohammed sahib , jesus christ etc . were born in Asia or near asia .

but no one ws ever born in americas , africaas etc .

not even Guru Nanak Dev ji paid visit to these continents.

Baba Ishar Singh ji were born in a jatt family in a village near jagraon in punjab . From a very young age he was complete jati sati like no one else and no body used to defy him because of his pratap.

His earlier name was inder singh but baba nand singh ji changed it into ishar singh. Baba ji did seva of baba nand singh ji for 12 years and seva like no one else . the seva ws very had . he never slept in his life ( time period during baba nand singh ji and in charge of seva of Guru ji nanaksar)

He used to be present in seva of baba nand singh ji for 24 hrs . maybe he barely use to take nap for 30 min maximum.

after baba nand singh ji , baba ji's schedule ws following :

from 12 am to 9 am (nitnem and simran)

during the day time

doing the seva of Guru ji .( guru granth sahib ji maharaj)

then going to number of villages and doing parchar of naam simran and amrit sanchar.

and ending the diwans at nanaksar kaleran jagraon at 11 pm everyday .

nanaksar is bhagti da ghar and on every pooranmashi min. of 101 akhand paths are done along with several sampat paths .

i have never had the darshan of baba ji .

but i have had the darshan of baba kundan singh ji who used to do seva after baba ishar singh ji .

baba kundan singh ji did seva of Guru granth sahib ji for 40 years straight without even missing a single day . he ws also a brahmgyani sant ji .

but at that time i did n't know that becus i ws small .so i never realised the importance of his darshan .

If you are doing the 180 Malas of Moolmantar, do you have to use the 108 bead mala? Can you use a 25 bead mala? And then count up the amount you have to do. Does it matter the size of the mala?

yes , you can use a 25 bead mala and then count up the amount .

The size of the mala doesn't matter.

the purpose of the mala is just to control your mind in doing a certain amount of simran.

Karamjeet you are wrong in this.

Bhagat Kabir, Baba Farid, Bhagat Namdev and all bhagats in sggs ji took amrit or any other intitation from their murshad(gurdev) not Satguroo gobind singh maharaj .

veer ji , it is really true that all these bhagats took initiation from their murshad during their time when they were in panj bhootak chola . they did not take amrit . this maryada of khande bate da amrit was not developed at that time .

but as you know these bhagats and brahmgyanis are not gone anywhere . they r all amar and present . so when Guru Gobind Singh Ji started this maryada , all the bhagats and other saints or puratan sikhs who had not taken khande bate da amrit previously , came to take this amrit iand follow the Maryada Of Almighty GOD .

some of them came by taking births as gursikhs during guru ji's time , some of them came during the time of great Brahmgyanis either in the panj bhootak chola or in the spiritual form .

guru je while reading those banis had been stirring fresh water in a sarab loh batta with a khanda while in bir assan

then guru je gave the 5 his amrit and made them live again

amrit is a must in sikhi

without it how will u get naam and gurmantar

wat the heck is the point of being a sikh if u dont have naam from ure guru

how can u be a sikh of any guru without having gotten naam

u need naam from guru je

to get naam u must take amrit

take amrit when u are ready to

but to truly become a sikh u must take amrit

What about someone whos scared to give their head to the guru (as did the panj pyarai) but who live as gurus sikhs (naam jap, vand shakna, kirt karna,etc along with virtueous qualities)

those who r true sikhs are never afraid of giving their heads .

giving head to ur guru is the first requirement in sikhi .

a sikh boy should marry only a sikh girl . that's the hukam of guru ji .

if the muslim girl takes amrit and becomes sikh , then the sikh boy can marry her .

if she does not converts, stay away from her . ( sikho beware from turks and turkanis )

There is no mukti without taking the amrit of guru Gobind Singh Ji maharaj . Before a person can achieve salvation he has to be born as a singh , take amrit and then get mukti .

For eg . Suppose there is a very high spiritual saint or fakeer who happens to be a muslim , he is near to achieve mukti . but he will take the amrit of guru ji . This is an order By the Almighty god to all his bhagats and saints those who love him , no matter if they are hindu , muslim to take amrit .

do you know that even bhagts like kabeer ji , namdev jee etc . have taken amrit from the guru gobind singh ji themselves .

the importance of the amrit can not be written or explained . it has no end .

don't you think that amrit is nothing . a person gets amrit after a lot of his "puns "(good deeds) from his previous births .then he gets the amrit .and if he follows the rehat , there is no one like him .he gets mukti .

even rishis munis from satyug , treta and semi gods and goddesses long for this amrit . it is so important .

if a gursikh (amritdhari)commits any misatake or a sin and he had to take birth again then he will not go into the gera of 84 lakh joon , but he will again be born as a gursikh in a gursikh family and given a chance once again to fufill his mission ( mukti)

It does not matter whether there is a medical , bilogical or spiritual problem , mool mantar has the power of doing anything . but you need to have 101% faith in it and lot of hard work practising it .

I think its about 20 yrs ago that bramhgyani sant Harnam Singh Ji rampur khede wale asked from guru ji how many total sikhs does he have in the whole world ? guru ji said he has only 1000 true sikhs on the whole earth .

that was still 20 yrs ago . now this counting may have decreased further due to kalyug . this was told by Giani thakur singh ji himself in one of his kathas .

i mean to say , sikhs are those who follow guru ji 's hukam .

I m not 100 % sure if i m right but i will try my best . Most of the people have these items like gold , silver,money ,cars , some jewellery but not in a large amount .

All the people in this world are not rich . There are few people who have all these items in large amount .

i think that not all the people have all of these nidhis .

I think nidhis r the powers to get all these items again and again without being running out of them . i don't know whether its true .

it seems impossible for a normal person to have very large amounts of gold , silver , very expensive cars , diamonds , rubies , jewels, pearls , and other precious stones . we r talking about large amounts of these items.

And nidhis also include to be perfect in all of the talents like music, intellectual or very intelligent , dancing , acting, singing, painting , sports and so on .

some people may have one or the other nidhi but it seems impossible to have all of them . luckily very very few may have all of them .

but there is no use of them . they r all form of maya .they stop people from the marg of bhakti .

these r made by God to test his bhagats .

Actually what happens is when a person starts doing bhakti he starts getting all of these things and powers . if he is wise and true lover of God he will not go after them instead he wants only Guru ji's darshan but on the other mayavi person will go after them and forget God and he will be engulfed in Ahankar then kam , krodh ., lobh , moh , etc . and ruin his life . so its better to not even think of them .

i do not say that we do not need money , but just ask for nirlepta from guru ji along with maya . this means having all of these wealth and money without forgetting Guru ji and staying in touch with him and longing fir his darshan .
