  1. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakal! Dear all! Shaheediyan, You have a big problem apparently. One does not need to search information about Balbir Singh on Internet. Many Balbir Singhs came and went. Life is precious. Better search for Truth. Reject the company of a sub Guru. Pray God for the blessing and the true Guru. Also, do not worry about the business and earnings of others. Your Thaalee may get stolen meanwhile. Please do not ask personal questions. Balbir Singh
  2. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakal! Dear all! Quote from Xylitol Jee "Some people, such as yourself, have misunderstood what is being said in Gurbani, and as a result of that misunderstanding have started saying that Bhai Gurdass ji's Vaars are not Gurbani." This is the result of the coaching from your sub Gurus. Quote "This spiritual path is not only naam simran, there are other thiings we have to do as well, such as seva with our hands. Such as getting a Guru. How can a person know these things without gyan?? they can't." Gyan is the result of growing conscious mind through true NAM Simran. One then recognizes God's Seva also done through our hands. Quote "I remember once hearing of a person who had Amrit russ dripping from his dasm dwar, This person did not know what was happening as he had never heard of it before. In fact, he thought he was ill and started going to doctors trying to find out what was happening. than his experience stopped. So, as even you can plainly see, some knowledge of the path ahead is required." Please do not believe in stories. Truth is that is happening with an individual. ************** Quote from Shaheediyan Jee "Reading bani is a must, how else does one learn about naam and simran, and thus act in order to attain it?" The true Gurus never say that One receives NAM by reading their writings. One receives NAM in the company of a Saadhoo or a Saint. Do not worry. What Sikhs are getting as Gurumantra is also from living human beings. The riddle is that Gurbani is to listen direct from the Guru. Nobody receives the Guru's Wisdom by reading any scripture or a holy book. It does not matter who reads it who hears. Just imagine all come to know this Wisdom. What will happen with the preacher's business in the present form? Balbir Singh
  3. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakal! Dear all and Chatanga Jee! Quote "thats is very true that naam does take one across. Duz knowledge of Bhai Gurdas varan detract from this crossing or compliment it?" A person, whose conscious mind gets developed, knows that only NAM Simran is the main cause of it. After growing through the process of true NAM Simran reading Guru's words confirm one's experiences. Reading about NAM Simran before knowing it is like reading a book about mangoes and remaining hungry. The Gurus never wrote that reading is the technique for any kind of spiritual growth. In fact the Gurus rejected any kind of reading to gain the spiritual worlds. Bhai Gurdas Jee on the contrary suggests all to read Gurbani to reach the purpose of life. Bhai Gurdas Jee Vaar 1-3-5 I found many contradictions in Bhai Gurdas Jee's Poetry. At many instances his poetry is totally against Guru's suggestions. On spiritual planes words of a sentence may be in a different sequence from enlightened persons but the experiences are the same, not contradictory. Balbir Singh
  4. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakal! Dear all and DSG Jee! I am singing my songs. Some have started holding their values firm. Why? Please do not worry. The Jeev becomes blessed not scary when God wants to rob him completely. Quote from Chatanga Jee "Sorry if you have posted this earlier, cos ive missed it. CanI ask why you do not find Bhai Gurdas Varan necessary in your life, or the life of a Sikh?" The only thing that takes one across is the true NAM received as Gur Prasaad, not Bhai Gurdas Ji's Vaaran. Balbir Singh
  5. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakal! Dear all and Kam1825! Quote "Balbir Singh you are a Maha Moorakh claiming to be under the influence of strong godly forces . . ." God convinced me. I feel blessed with this confirmation. Did God converse with you also once? Quote " . . . who has no respect for the bani of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, the waheguru mantar and ridicule the authority of the Panj piaray." May I ask if Gurdev's Bani ever showered on you and became your experience? The true Guru has now resolved in my Heart and often explains His Bani. Sometimes He misses me when I am reading strange posts. Waheguru is the praise of true Guru. Waheguru is not the Mantar of true Guru. While people try to benefit using Waheguru as Mantar, they are not praising the true Guru. Authority of Panj enemies in human beings has made them slaves. They become beloved ones, losing all their authority, by receiving NAM Amrit from the Sat Guroo. Are you still under their authority? Quote "Why do you start the same conversations on other forums as well and answer the questions you start." I did not know that some people are running around seeking Truth. Quote "Looks like things in Germany are a bit messed up where you are and there is no one to guide you according to the sikh faith." God is everywhere. Only preachers try to visit all places to convert God. Quote "If the moderators are reading this then i vote Balbir Singh goes and we bring Dattaswami back. i prefered him on the forum rather than a blind skeptic who is full of himself." The moderators of this Forum may be in love with Truth. Balbir Singh
  6. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakal! Dear all! The true Guru sings God is within. The true Guru transfers NAM to the seeker. NAM becomes the Guru and leads one within to his core where God is residing. The sub Guru asks one to visit the building called Gurudwara, follow him helping in worldly rituals. The true Guru throws one back to his deep core again when he tries to follow any earthy matter outwards. The sub Guru draws one outwards keeping him engaged in worldly activities and rituals. ***As for your deviant attempt to attack the use of Vaheguru, maybe explain to us why Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji has started Tav Prasad Savaiye with "Ek Oankaar Vaheguru ji Fateh"?*** True NAM received through the true Guru becomes the Sabad Guru that leads one within toward God winning all the obstacles on the way. This is 'Vaheguroo ji ki Fateh'. 'Vaheguroo ji ki Fateh' is not getting enemies in the outer word and then winning them. What is 'Beas'? Is it without hope? Balbir Singh
  7. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakal! Dear all! Can a sub Guru of your help answer it? What is 'Jal Jogan?" Balbir Singh
  8. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakal! Dear all and Kam1825 Jee! I do not visit the Gurudwara to hear the praise from a sub Guru. I go through the door (Dwaar), accompany my Guru who leads me into silence and solace. Those should please come out of Paataal on the surface of earth if they wish to fly in the free sky. Do not hold God so firmly in your symbols and rituals that HE cannot reach you. ************** A sub Guru is one who teaches that Gurumantra is Waheguru. All have experienced its truth already though. A sub Guru is also one who blames others to miss God because they do not follow the sub Guru. The true Guru throws one back when he tries to follow Him. Balbir Singh
  9. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakal! Dear all and Kam1825 Jee! Quote "You sure do have a strange concept on Sikhi. Are you sure you follow Sikhism and not some other faith?" I feel I am the Sikh of my true Gurus including Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee. Everything in my life is happening as they described it. I want to ask you the same question. Please let me know with references, any acts you feel you are doing and it is according to the Gurus. ************** Sub Guru is also one who gives the feel that actual Guru is dumb. That is why he has taken his role. He also becomes uneasy because of your questions. He does not want to be responsible for any wrong doings. After all he is only Sub Guru. Balbir Singh
  10. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakal! Dear all and Kam1825 Jee! Quote "stage artists, social clubs? What gurdwara do you go to?" The choice is big and growing bigger day by day. Quote "A quick thing there is no such thing as a sub guru?" A Sub Guru has many responsibilities. He is the subordinate, substitutes or sub assistant of the Guru time to time. A sub Guru feels to have overtaken all the duties of the Guru in His presence as well in His absence. These are few to count. Saints are not found these days in Gurudwaras because they are on demonstrations. Also, according to news they are very busy in hindering people remembering God's Name. I hope they have not forgotten their NAM Simran during all these activities. Balbir Singh
  11. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakal! Dear all! Many do not like to give them the certificate that they are the Sub Gurus. Perhaps they want such titles for them. Still, some stage artists in Gurudwara are proud to feel the Sub Gurus role. I am not talking about Saints. They are not found in Gurudwaras anyway. The atmospheres of Gurudwaras are more of the social clubs. Balbir Singh
  12. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakal! Dear all! Quote from Shaheediyan Jee "And what do you think Vaheguru means." Vaheguru means Wow Guru. Quote "Bhai Gurdas Ji says" Please be in service of your Gurdas. Let others be loyal to their True Guru. Quote "Using your argument - how can you prove Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji was written by Satguru's? Your said private realisations are no proof." I did not expect that you would lie. Let us stop discussions. Balbir Singh
  13. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakal! Dear all! Quote from Chatanga Jee "what words were you using to remember Akal by when you did naam simran." I say 'Raam' when my Guru sings "bhaa-ee ray raam kahhu chit laa-ay." I repeat 'Hari Hari' when my Guru sings "gur mil naanak har har kahi-aa." When my Guru sings "saaDhsang japtay naaraa-in tin kay dokh jaray," I start singing with HIM Naaraa-in. May I ask what do you do when you hear instructions from the true Guru? ************** Quote from Xylitol Jee "Either way, it's Waheguru's Hukum." All enlightened persons find either way on earth Waheguru's Hukum. However, the world does not experiences the same. ************** Dear participants, please write something about the mother of Sarguna Waahiguroo? Please let me know who feels to give me his valuable time for Satsang. Those who love it please click my posts and enjoy it. Balbir Singh
  14. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakal! Dear all! Quote from Kam1825 Jee "What incantation do you use when doing naam simran? If you cant answer that question then how do you expect people to answer your questions." The Incantation as suggested by all the Gurus is of the Names 'Raam', 'Hari', 'Narayan' etc. Quote "I would like to see you ask this question on sikhsangat.com and see how long you last before being booted off." I feel they have closed their children in strong rooms worrying that they may get spoiled. Their posts show what they are learning. ************** Quote from Shaheediyan Jee "clearly stated that these Gurmukhs were chosen to perform this seva because of thier high jeevans," Please do not suggest Sikhs to start writing Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee to stamp their high jeevans. Quote "With regards to your other comments, please enlighten as to your views and understanding of what happened in 1699, or do yo ubelieve that this is also a big hoax?" Can you travel back on your memory track to watch the scenes? ************** Please stay with the topic and express your views after contemplating the Sabad from Gayand Jee on Ang 1402. Mother Jasod is saying whom to eat curd and rice? Balbir Singh
  15. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakal! Dear all and Shaheediyan Jee! Quote "you know very well who I meant by my father, the father of the Khalsa - who blesses us with his presence in the form of the Panj Pyare, something you may not have experienced and are therefore not qualified to comment on." I want to ask Sikhs a genuine question. No Guru ever called His previous Guru 'Father'. All Gurus called God their Father. The true Guru never teaches anyone to call His Guru in person his father or God. From whom Sikhs learned to call their tenth Guru Father? Did Guru Gobind Singh Jee ever instruct this? Was this another trick of preachers to cash the feelings of dedicated Sikhs? Khaalsa means one who is pure. The true Guru does not give birth to a Khaalsa. The true Guru transfers God's Grace as True NAM. One becomes blessed with the growing purity. Also, purity is not the child of the true Guru. God is the father of the purity and the pure person. Quote "For your info, those with a high spiritual jeevan were chosen for the most holy service of writing Guru's Bani - Bhai Gurdaas Ji, Baba Deep Singh Ji, Bhai Manni Singh Ji." Please come out of the illusion. Nobody gets a high spiritual Jeevan by writing Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee with ink on paper. It does not matter how neat his handwriting is. One receives a high spiritual Jeeven through true NAM Simran. ************** Quote "Balbir Singh, when you were doing naam simran, what were you actually saying to remember Akal by?" Please search and find a true Saint to know this. Do not waste any moment with empty promises. I wish all God's Grace. Balbir Singh
  16. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakal! Dear all! Quote from RupZ Jee "Guru Ji said Bhai Gurdas Ji's Vaara was the Key to Bani." This is what preachers go on saying. The Gurus never said this, instructed or wrote about this. Please provide a reference if someone has it. ************** Quote from N30 S!NGH Jee "If we go by your logic then jaap sahib, tav parsad swaie, chaupi sahib is not included in sri guru granth sahib ji either but separately written by sri dasam patsah, are you going to suggest they are not bani either? since they are not included in sri guru granth sahib ji, does that mean those banis above are not accepted by guru's.?" Sri Guru Gobind Singh Jee did not include His Hymns in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee. However, He could include at least a part of Bhai Gurdas Jee's poetry in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee. Nevertheless, He did not even mention his name in Guru's Hymns. Please ponder. Why? I have not come across any answer from the Sikh responsible leaders why Guru Gobind Singh Jee's Hymns are not in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee. He compiled His Granth separately. Why? ************** Quote from from Shaheediyan Jee "Statement is clear, we all know Satguru dictated Gurbani, the point which you keep conveniently eluding, is that of the importance and stature of Bhai Gurdaas i.e. that of a true Sikh - this is evidenced by Satguru choosing his Mamaji to perform this most holy and special service." I have nothing against Bhai Gurdas Jee as a person. I disagree with many of his statements that are just the opposites from those of the Gurus. One can start a separate topic on it. Also, Gurdev took services of Bhai Gurdas Jee for other reasons like his hand writing, not because he was Gurdev's Mamaji. Quote "Where is your evidence that Bhai Sahibs vaaran were not accepted? All factions of the panth accept Bhai Gurdaas Ji's vaaran from Guru sahibs times," The difference is clearly visible. I am talking about the Guru's acceptance. You are talking about Panth's acceptance. Do some know how many acts the Panth is doing today that the Gurus never suggested? I could not count those even. Please name one act of the so-called Panth along with one reference from the Gurus. I will be grateful. Quote "And I believe only my father can answer it. I am happy with what he has gifted me with thus far, the holy Gurmantar." I hope you are not indicating Bhai Gurdas Jee or may be your biological father was one of the Panj Piyarays. Then your father is your Guru as the true Guru gives Gurumantra. Quote "Kindly expand 'The expression 'our Guru' is more frequently used by people whose authority and piece of cake get bigger." Please watch. Always fewer people are accepting Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee as their Guru. It is because more fanatics are behaving strangely with the Guru in ever more restricted ways. One of it is calling Him 'our Guru', giving others feels that He is not yours. Quote "How do you know "of" Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, and it's contributors?" It is because TRUTH is the same experience since Aadi Kaal (ages began). Quote "What you experience from reading and understanding Gurbani is a different matter." My experience is from the true NAM Simran, not from reading Gurbani. Only after true Simran the understanding of Gurbani is possible. ************** Let us move further. I am not preparing or correcting a new generation of preachers on forums so that they can run their shops in the future also. From now on I feel to prefer contact with those who have true NAM Simran or the thirst of it. Thanks for the delightful Satsangs. Love. Balbir Singh
  17. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakal! Dear all and Xylitol Jee! Saints and Brahmgyanis are great and God blessed people. I am not designating them. True Saints or Brahmgyanis do not crave for a post in the management committee, a video film or a basket in front of them for dollars. ************** Dear N30 S!NGH Jee, I say it from my experience that reading alone does not help. Gurbani is so simple and straight but without true Simran one cannot experience one Vaak of it, what to discuss Teekaas and Sateeks by Mahaapurakhs. Balbir Singh
  18. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakal! Dear all and Shaheediyan Jee! Quote "In Sanskrit, Raag means colour/rang - reflection - expression - mood...." Please consult the same dictionary further for the meanings of 'raag' or Indian literature. I hope you know Indian languages. Ask any Indian what is raag or dvaysha. Good luck. Satsriakal. Balbir Singh
  19. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakal! Dear all! 'Bairaag' is the Gurmukhee word for 'Viraag' from Sanskrit. One meaning of 'raag' is the melody. That is why a 'raagee' is one who sings in 'raag'. Another meaning of 'raag' is envy. That is why a 'raagee' is one who is filled with envy. 'Viraag' is a combination of two words, 'vi' and 'raag'. 'Vi' denotes the opposite of that when attached before a word. For example 'kree' means buying and 'vikree' means selling. 'Vi' also denotes the absence of that when attached before a noun or adjective. For example 'dhava' means the husband or the master and 'vidhava' means without the husband. 'Raag' is one of the five vicious practices of mind. 'Raagee' is one who is engaged with it. 'Bairaag' is getting rid of envy. The Gurus are 'Bairaagees' and always suggest others to become 'bairaagee', not a 'raagee'. This is the reason we find so many Vaaks from the Gurus sounding critiques against 'raggee'. Balbir Singh
  20. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakal! Dear all! I know a school teacher. He visited London with his students in an exchange programme. From many different possibilities he chose to visit the prominent Sikh Gurudwara also. He was excited after his returning home to meet me. He described his visit like he had an adventure with his pupils. For the first time I heard few impressions about Sikhism from the perspective of a Gora who visited a Gurudwara for the first time. He found some persons sitting nearest to Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee and doing Keertan. They were sitting at the little lower stage than the present Guru of Sikhs but higher than the gathering. His wanted to know the rank specially for the Kathaa Vaachak if he were the sub Guru. He used many interesting terms. We may talk about those another time. I feel we visit the Guru at Gurudwara not only for Langar but also to listen. The Guru does not speak but his subordinates. Most of us have some questions regarding our spiritual growth and the wisdom of the true Guru's message. These questions but remain because the Baabaa Jee is always in hurry or surrounded by his admirers. The result is my post on this topic. Balbir Singh
  21. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakal! Dear all lovers of Gurbaanee and Sri Guru Gobind Singh Jee! A Sabad from Sri Guru Gobind Singh Jee is very popular among Raagees these days. It begins with this Vaak. "rogan te aru jogan te jal jogan te bahu bhaaNt bachaavay." We know what diseases (Rogan) are. We also know what sorrows (Sogan) are. Can someone please explain what kind of problem 'Jal Jogan' is? HE saves us in many ways. I will be thankful. Balbir Singh
  22. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakal! Dear all! The present true Guru of Sikhs does not speak. The sub Gurus of Sikhs are not able to convince the intelligent and young generation, in my observation. I feel there is a communication gap between the curious Sikhs and the sub Gurus on the stages. After the congregations they just disperse. Do you also feel that they should allow the Sangat to ask openly sub Gurus the questions in Gurudwaras? Or are you of the opinion that also sub Gurus should not be Dehdhaaree and wiped out? Please discuss it with open heart? Balbir Singh
  23. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakal! Dear all and Shaheediyan Jee! Quote "And it was received and written by the same "true" Sikh who wrote the Sri Guru Granth Sahib." This statement is misleading and incomplete. Please be careful. Bhai Gurdas Jee wrote Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee what Gurdev dictated him. Quote "his vaaran were accepted by Satguru and have been treated as a method of learning and understanding Sikhi since." In my view, Satguru did not accept his vaaran and therefore did not include in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee. Quote "I am not in a position to speak on or answer on behalf of my father," I have asked you the question. Quote "How is that an illusion, Maharaj is universal, no one said otherwise." The expression 'our Guru' is more frequently used by people whose authority and piece of cake get bigger. Quote "Yet your belief in the tradition that Sri Guru Granth Sahib is your Guru still exists?" Again, Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee is the result of the Guru's Wisdom. Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee is not the Guru because of a tradition. ************** Quote "But the point is equally applicable to Vaheguru gurmantar, that was my point. You can't have it both ways. The tradition (discovering which is ultimately his kirpa) leads us to the Guru, then the Guru leads us to Vaheguru." That is interesting. One discovers vaheguru gurmantar following Panj Piaray that he knows and repeats it from his childhood following his parents, siblings, friends, a Raagee, Paathee or Granthee who does Ardaas. Please write something about the topic. Balbir Singh
  24. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakal! Dear all and Mekhane'ch Jannat Jee! Thanks for a good post. Spiritual intensity of Satsangs is different in your company. Quote "For us there is spiritual extertion which is a form of grace a lower form of grace. For Baba Nanak there was no exertion as Baba Nanak received the highest form of grace where minute effort is required." May I ask if receiving the highest form of Grace is possible for a so-called Sikh? Perhaps someone can explain how a person comes to different grades of God's Grace. Is the Grace of God different on people but HIS WILL the Same? Quote "God is not known cannot be known but what God is not is the known." The Gurus say that all is God also that is known. Quote "But the known is sticky it sticks, to clear the known I must ask the unknown." Please explain how does it really works. I see almost everybody asking the unknown though. Quote "Sorry to go on, but to start to negate cannot be done without his grace. Man does not know where to start Only through his pull is negation allowed, the more negation the "higher" the perspective and the more the person becomes qualified to be a true teacher of God. The perspective becomes "higher" with regard to things the more his pulled out, through negation. ONly these people have the right to teach." I feel the true Guru does not teach. In His presence one learns. God's Grace flows through the true Guru. Balbir Singh
  25. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakal! Dear all and Shaheediyan Jee! Quote "Your position is hypocritical, you question the tradition of Satguru giving us Gurmantar . . ." Please read my posts carefully. The truth is that Gurus gave Gurumantra but they did not write about it. The question is about Bhai Gurdas Jee. Why did he want to declare Gurumantra in writing? Did he want to run a step ahead of the Gurus? Many years after the demise of Bhai Gurdas Jee Guru Gobind Singh Jee compiled Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee. Still, He did not mention anywhere the Gurumantra 'Waahiguroo'. Why? Quote "yet you openly beleive that Sri Guru Granth Sahib was given the Gur-Gaddi and is Jagdi Jyot, and also believe Maharaj does indeed contain the holy words of our Guru?" For some Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee is the Guru because Bhai Prahlad Jee wrote the poem containing the line 'Guroo maanyo Granth'. For me Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee is the Guru because I enliven it. Also, please come out of this illusion 'Maharaj does indeed contain the holy words of our Guru." The true Guru is universal. Quote "Is this belief also not a Sikh 'historical' tradition?" Only Maya has traditions. All beliefs disappear when Truth rises. ************** Quote from Kam1825 Jee "they will answer all of your questions." Please write those on this forum and oblige. Balbir Singh
