  1. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakal!

Dear all and Gurpreet Singh Jee!

Quote "once again sabad has a siharee on the dadaa....so once again it means . . . when one dies through the shabad . . . once again i want to say, gurbani is not limited to viakaran, but without viakaran u get false translations . . . dying through the shabad, to me, means to lose false desires and ego through the shabad."

Word 'Sabadi' occurs more than nine hundred times in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee. Not even once it says 'through the Shabad' or ego.

Quote "ok, let me ask you, how can shabad die?

'vaahu vaahu, bani niranakaar hai' how can nirankaar ever die?"

This sounds like a riddle. Gurdev says God is everything. God is Nirguna. God is Sarguna also. All that we perceive is Sarguna God and changing every moment. The language says it is dying. Does God in Nirguna Saroop also dies with? The borrowed answer is no.

Gurus have experienced the Shabad also dying. They have also experienced God as eternal.

Should we long for the true experience or should we change the meaning of Guru's experience according to our limitations?

How can we realize God's Grace since grace of false preachers is showering on us? This is also God's Will.

  2. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakal!

Dear all and Gurpreet Singh Jee!

Quote "so to me, this tuk would mean... When one dies through the shabad, he kills his mind (man jeetai jag jeet), he loses his houmai, and is absorbed into god (nanak leen bhayo gobind sio, joi paanee sang paanee)."

I am not sure if this translation is correct.

In my view, the word Shabad written with siharee does not mean 'through the shabad'. I found another Vaak from Gurdev.

"sabad marai taa sabh kichh soojhai an-din ayko jaanai." SGGS Ang 1234-9

When Shabad dies then everything is resolved. Day and night ONE becomes known.

How can one resolve everything and comes to know ONE when he is dead through Shabad? Shabad does not mean ego either.

Quote "can i ask you a question, I've been watching your posts for a while now, and it seems that you have a problem with accepting guru granth sahib jee as guru, is this true?"

I love and respect my Guru above all. I do not have any problem with Him either. It is the wondrous experience When Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee explains.

The guru is never happy with those who have not understood Him.

It is strange when people translate Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee false.

  3. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakal!

    Dear all!

Quote "Five are five weapons in Daster of Nihung Singh, that five are our Peers."

Does one need five weapons to get One Amrit?

A Nihung is one who has given all his Angs to the Guru's service. It is only after giving up all he becomes Nihung. Please do not judge a Nihung from his outfit. He has namely much more than five weapons in Dastaar. The true Nihung also enjoys Amrit every moment in the inner world.

  4. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakal!

Dear all and Vijaydeep Singh Ji!

Quote "Anser 1.Outword Amrit is proof of inward Amrit as in Guru Panth we do outwards also as we think in us say 5ks.."

I do not know if some win spiritual lottery ciphering answers this way.

Quote "anwer 2.Inner Amrit in Tenth door is activated by Akal and is in all as in all Akal.So when Akal invokes innner then Akal only let world see the outword also."

I will also do Ardaas for the seekers.

Quote "Anwer as per Sau Sakhi beofre Khande Bate Di Pahil Charan Pahil was there,it was dipping the water of Baptism in Rumala of Guru Granth Sahib and then proceudre carried out by such water."

I thought by washing Guru's Charan they made Charan Pahul.

Quote "Anyway Baptism of Guru is more like Baptism by Holy Ghost"

Thanks. I know now something about Holy Ghost.

Quote "And First Master had it from Akal.Rather all got from Akal."

May I ask? What are now all? Are they all now first master or Akaal or both? Please explain.

Please say something about the need of five instead all to receive One Amrit.

  5. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakal!

Dear all and N30 Singh Ji!

    Thanks for your Post.

Quote "The gurbani tuk you posted - talking about inner amrit which resides in all of us, its not talking about sanskar amrit."

Do Sikhs have two types of Amrit? One inner and another is outer Amrit.

Quote "Since it exist in all of us, hence its one."

Since sanskar Amrit does not exist in all of us and rare, we seek it too? Does the wish, to find ONE remains after realizing ONE Who exists in all of us?

Quote "We need sanskar amrit because we get shabad by panj pyares who are not just panj pyares by name but panj bhramgyani who give us that shabad to awaken the one amrit/naam inside us which gurbani talks about."

Have all the Gurus also gone this way and process? Please give your opinion.

  6. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakal!

    Dear all!

Quote from Gurpreet Singh Ji "because guru gobind singh jee said so."

Please provide a reference from Guru Gobind Singh Jee. I will be thankful.

Quote from Sat1176 Ji "Guru de Guru jainnae but I assume it so that no one individual considers himself special or surpreme in that only he may administer amrit."

Did the Gurus consider them special or supreme? Please explain.

  7. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakal!

    Dear all!

They often warn and preach Sikhs to reject dehdhaaree Gurus. Is this true only for the present time?

Our Gurus were dehdhaarees, lived in human body. Did Sikhs accept dehdhaaree Gurus in the past?

Is truth changing with the time? Please express your views.

  8. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakal!

    Dear all!

It seems that I was not able to express my question clearly. Please allow me to put it in a fresh effort again.

The name of a person, place or thing is a noun. Suppose Arvind is a name. Reading the word Arvind alone immediately raises a question. What, where, when, why or who is Arvind?

Some preachers explain that 'Japu' is the title of the first part of Gurbaanee. They ask us to recite repeatedly the rest part following the word 'Japu'.

My question is what is the verb here when 'Japu' is the subject noun and rest of the Baanee is the object noun.

In my view, a statement from the Guru in ecstasy cannot be incomplete and without a verb. Specially, when Gurdev found God active where all subjects and objects got dissolved into ONE.

  9. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakal!

    Dear Kam1825 Ji!

    Quote "Through the word Jap."

Quote "The word Jap is to all that read it and say it to remind them that they should meditate on the name of the lord as this is the only ship that will carry you accross the worldly ocean"

Have I understood it correctly? The word 'Japu' reminds all to meditate on the name of Lord that is a verb.

  10. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakal!

    Dear Kam1825 Ji!

    Thanks for your reply.

Please do get some time and write more on this topic. You wrote "as far as i am aware Jap is both a noun and a part of the mool mantra where all are asked to meditate on the name of God. Will write more when i get time"

Through which word of Mool Mantra Gurdev has asked all to meditate on God? Please elaborate this.

    Balbir Singh

  11. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakal!

    Dear all!

I heard often preachers talking about Japu Ji Sahib. They try to convince us that Japu is the title of the beginning part of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. In their view, Japu is a noun.

I got curious to know. What is the verb if Japu is the noun?

Please express your views. I will be grateful.

  12. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakal!

    Dear Vijaydeep Singh Ji!

I do not have a copy of the original Rehatnama from Bhai Daya Singh Ji. Nor I have a reason to possess it and read.

Quote "Anyway Mool Mantra is as it starts at Japu Ji Sahib and Guru Mantra is Wahiguru."

Please provide a reference from the Gurus and oblige.

Quote "So in Japu Sahib we say Omkar Aad."

Well, I am still not finished reading Japu Ji Sahib. Up to now I have not come across 'Omkar Aad'.

Quote "Gurumantar ie Wahiguru is told to us for doing meditation.,while we live in this world."

Please let all know which Guru told us to do so. I will be grateful.

  13. Satsriakal to all and Mekhane'ch Jannat Ji!

You wrote "If as an individual you also wish to make a dead saint your Guru than thats fine."

I do not feel that my Gurus are dead saints.

    mloco Ji!

You wrote "there is only one Nirankar. "Bhramgian aapi Nirankar" = all Bhramgiani are one = there is only one Guru."

Do you want to say that all the Godly beings whose Baanee is included in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji are together One Guru for Sikhs?

I hope I have understood you correctly.

    Balbir Singh

  14. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakal!

    Dear all!

Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji is incorporated with the hymns (Baanee) from many enlightened beings as Kabir Ji, Namdev

Ji, Jaidev Ji, Pipa Ji, Sain Ji, Ravidas Ji, Farid Ji and others.

For Sikhs Baanee is Guru and Guru is Baanee.

Do all God beings, whose Baanee is included in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, become automatically our Gurus?

    Please express your views.
