I can go on but will stop. Has Mcleod said anything like this? Please reply. May be your understanding of sikhism is different t

    Dear all!

    I have curiosity to know.

    1) What is Gurmantra of A Sikh if not Waheguru?

    2) Which Vela has significance in Sikhism if not Amrit Vela?

    3) What is useful exercise if not Naam Simran?

    4) What is that if it is not soul in a body?

    5) Why Gurbani sings about karma often if there is no karmic theory in Gurbani teachings?

    6) Why true Gurus talk about reincarnation if Sikhism does not endorse reincarnation?

    7) What should Sikhs esteem if respect for the Harmandir sahib is a Brahmin practice?

    8) What else is holy if the Pool of Harmandir sahib is just like an ordinary pond?

    9) Do trimmed beards officers not need Naam Amrit?

    Mcleod was a historian.

Our Gurus did not use the word history once.

  2. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakaal!

    Dear all and drawof Jee!

This is from the chapter 'Kabeer Jee Dee Zanzeer KiveN Tuttee' of the book 'Sada Bera Aeyu Garkiya'.

The writer has recited this book himself.

I downloaded this from Internet a long time back and got some time lately to listen.

Quote from The Khalsa Fauj Jee "Inder Singh Ghagga's aarths are wrong. Prof. Sahib Singh's aarths are wrong too. I am not sure what Balbir is up to though."

I feel I should also write some books. Let us see if some get enlightened by reading one more book.

I may be leaving for holy days after a week or two.

    Dear all and Mithar Jee!

    Thanks for your post.

Quote "Because the sihari in leher indicates that the lahar of Ganga broke the Zanjeer of Bhagat Kabir."

    I experience the same.

It is God's Grace that bondage is broken through 'Gangaa kee Lahar'.

It may not be possible as long as one is hating Hindu Lahar of Gangaa.

Quote "As for Khalsa Fauj, this Kal Dha Shokra thinks he has more knowledge than all Sikh Vidhvaans. His narcissism is getting way over his head."

I hope he also wants to grow spiritually.

Finding other translation is not the result of true Naam Simran.

Through Naam Simran one realizes The same God and His Attributes.

  4. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakaal!

    Dear all and singh2 Jee!

Quote "You have broken chhand 10. If you read complete chhand it is clear quite clear what guru sahib is saying.

It means Formless God is God of mahadev . So all these lines are an eulogy to formless God."

It was to draw your attention on a particular Vaak.

Mahaa Dev DevaM means Great Dev of Devas. It does not mean the Formless God of mahadev.

Formless God is God of all.

    Also, all is God Himself.

    HE Himself is the Praise.

    He is praising Himself.

Gurdev wrote Akaal Ustati. Gurdev also wrote Kaal Ustati.

Is there any difference? Please explain.

    *****

    Please improve the translations first.

    For example:

He who is without colour or form, and without any distinctive norm.

The correct translation, in my view, is this.

Form, colour and outline, dress nobody can explain.

Gurdev is saying. Nobody can say His Form, Colour, Sketch or Dress.

Your translation says. God does not have these.

I have a curiosity to know.

    Gurdev is singing.

kahooN phool hwai kai bhale raj phoole.

Is it wrong to respect and worship flowers?

Merging in God is in progress. HE is realized when He reveals His Nirguna and Sarguna Forms at the same time.

    Dear all and singh2 Jee!

Quote "Euolgy is to Kal . You will find upto verse 17 description of attributes of Formless God"

Please explain if the following Vaaks are attributes of Formless or God in different Forms.

  6. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakaal!

    Dear all and singh2 Jee!

Quote "In Bachitra Natak beginning Guru sahib has written a lengthy eulogy to Kal/Mahakal. When we read that as a whole

it is clear that this is same God as described in SGGS ji."

God does not change by changing the book.

It is not eulogy as expressed by you. A dictionary says eulogy is a formal expression of praise for someone who has died recently.

I feel some basics are missing in these translations.

Please ponder. Words like Ajoonee, Nirankaar, Niroopam can only be for Akaal. But the title of this Hymn is 'Sri Kaal Jee kee Ustati'. Why?

    *****

Kaal, Mahaakaal is God's activity. Those may be realized by every Jeev according to his growing consciousness.

Akaal is also the attribute beyond Kaal and Mahaakaal. Its realization is possible by merging in HIM. It cannot be expressed in words.

This is the reason the word Akaal cannot be written without Kaal. This is the limitation of the language.

    *****

Reading and discussing has its own charm.

Realizing Truth that is also beyond is something else.

  7. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakaal!

    Dear all and Singh2 Jee!

Quote "kala afghna writes that God is mentioned as akal in SGGS ji but is mentioned as kal / mahakal in

Dasam Granth sahib. Because of this he opines that Dasam granth cann't be work of Guru Gobind singh ji."

    All are within Lord's Hukam.

Akaal is Nirguna. Kaal is Sarguna God.

One blessed with Naam may merge into Akaal.

Others are in the clutches of Kaal.

    Gurdev is singing. Please listen.

Akaal and Kaal, both are mentioned in Sri Guru Granth Saahib Jee too.

  8. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakaal!

    Dear all and laalsingh Jee!

    You asked "Balbir Singh,

    Are you a true sikh?"

When a search of 'you' stops in other beings, one becomes a true Sikh.

Reaching God in self is possible only through Simran of the true Naam.

Dear N30S!ngh Jee, who can close Mahaakaal or any of its thread.

Better learn to say His True Naam through that Mahaakaal solaces.

  9. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakaal!

    Dear all!

The reverend Gurus never wrote a history book or a story collection to promote Gurmati.

They transferred the wisdom of Naam Jap or, in other words, Simran of true Sabad.

Why our preachers put their stories in the mouth of the Gurus, and mislead Sikhs?

Please click the following link and listen. Is this what true Gurus really told?

  10. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakaal!

    Dear all and Shaheediyan Jee!

You wrote "For Sikhs - this Sadhu is represented by the 'Pany Pyare', the same Sadhu who made Dasmesh Pita a Singh - and as per Dasmesh Pitas hukum - have been blessing Sikh Sangatan with Guru Gobind Singh Ji da ditya Gurmantra for over 300 years."

I am not able to find it in any of the reverend Guru's writings. Please help me finding it.

  11. Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakaal!

    Dear all and Matheen Jee!

Quote "Nobody is saying to pray to shoes,"

But Baabaa Jee in his discourse is trying to sing. Guru Naanak Dev Jee ne khaRaavaN dee pooja karaaee. Why?

Should this Baabaa not preach to imitate Gurdev?

Quote " . . . but we respect everything that belonged to Guru Sahib. Dhan dhan are the shoes that Guru Ji wore."

From my childhood I was amazed by the Charan-DhooR of the Guru. But I never heard the chamatkaars of His Charan-Sandals.

Quote "I don't think you understand what true prem is."

Matheen Jee, lovers feel this is the faculty of heart.

    *****

Dear Cul Jee, I appreciate your respect for Gurdev. I am not pleading to disrespect Guru's imaginative Sandals.

What I want to know is this. Does Sikhism allows worshiping Sandals of anybody?
