                                                         THE GRACE OF THE LORD

Try to surrender completely to the Lord by killing your haume, and under the cover of His power, protection and grace, you will wade through the waters of life unscathed.

The loving Father will protect you like a baby, in the might of His strong arms, and pass you scot-free from the fires of life without a burn.

    Everyone errs.

Through these errors you have to grow into a pure and lusterous soul. Weed out the shortcomings, one by one.

The diary is a necessity and must be used for this purpose. It helps you to keep an eye on your ethical side of life, for this must be developed along with the spiritual growth.

Remember that the Father wants to embrace His child.

If the child’s clothing is soiled with dirt or mud, He will not forsake him, but cleanse the child and take him or her into His lap.

He is always with His children whom He loves, a hundred times more than the proverbial love of a mother.

The 10 characteristics of a mentally mature person

    1. Don't chase validation from other people. Self-validation is what really matters to them.
    2. Trying to rationalize their problems. They do not allow negative or overwhelming emotions to overshadow their judgment.
    3. View constructive criticism as valuable feedback. An opportunity for growth and personal development.
    4. Don't get irritated by unconstructive criticism (or try not to). Because someone who takes their time just to say something negative to another person is not worth the mental energy and time of emotionally strong people.
    5. Accepting adversity. Emotionally strong people see the difficulties of living as necessary elements of life, leading to a stronger and wiser version of themselves.
    6. Have an optimistic or positive mindset. If your inner world is already gloomy or dark inside, even the sun that shines for you every day will not be able to cheer you up.
    7. Don't let fear paralyze you.
    8. Keep in mind that the errors themselves do not define them.
    9. Focus on finding solutions instead of endlessly crying about your problems and blaming others for them.
    10. Being grateful. Nothing destroys a person inside like always directing his attention to what he lacks while he completely ignores what he has.

Through Sikhee/Gurmat we come to know that we by ourselves are nothing, but just big bag with countless sins.

In that condition as seen above, one has no spiritual knowledge, but a fatty load of ignorance.

In that case, the TRUE Guru is our only hope and anchor.

For as s Guru Jee tells us in the Bani:

    ਪਤਿਤ ਪਾਵਨ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮਾ ॥

    Pathith Paavan Har Naamaa ||

    पतित पावन हरि नामा ॥

The Lord's Name is the Purifier of sinners.

    Or

Prabh Kaa simran mun kee mael jaae

By meditating on the repetition of His Name, all impurities on the mind are washed away.

Noe we may ask, which Naam or God´s name should one meditate upon?

There are many realms or levels of consciousness within us, including those of avatars, trinities, prophets, devtays etc etc  ..... and meditating on them(their names) all, or any one of them, one is still within the realm of Maya and Kaal.

And beyond all this mayavee paraphernalia, is the unfathomable abode of the Ultimate Truth (Sach Khand), which Guru Sahiban since the very begining in the Bani calls it SATNAM.

Guru Jee says: Jap mun Satnam, sadaah Satnam

And moreover as seen in the following verse:

    ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਜਪਤ ਜਨੁ ਤਾਰਿਓ ॥

Har Har Naam Japath Jan Thaariou ||

Hari hari nāmu japat janu tāriō ॥

Chanting the Name of the Lord, Har, Har, His servant has been ferried across.

The path of Gurmat is the simplest, clearest, shortest, and the straight highway to Waheguru Akal Purukh.

This Naam,  is the only purifier, cleanser, redeemer from all bondages/chains/sins, and ultimately, is also the means, the vessel, which takes us to our true home: Sach Khand.

    OUR HEART, HIS ABODE

Each one of us would like the Lord to make His abode in our heart.

But have we ever considered, whether this heart,

where we would like the Lord to live, is it fit for Him?

Have we ever spent a sleepless night out of love for the Lord,

or because we are separated from Him?

Have we ever shed tears out of love and gratitude for the Lord?

Our hearts long for the world, and yet we want to meet the Lord.

Until we rid ourselves of our love and attachment for everything other than Him,

our heart will never be fit for Him.

    THE LOVER´S STRATAGEM

    My beloved Lord,

Now I will not let The go,

    Whatever pleases Thee I will do;

Pray become mine, remain with me.

    After endless days of separation,

Beloved Lord, I have at last meet Thee,

    I am fortunate indeed

For thou has come within my home

    Of thine own accord.

    My beloved Lord,

I will not let Thee go.

I will cling to Thy Feet

    And insist upon thy staying;

    with all the stratagems

    At my love´s command

    I will hold The ensnared.

    Pray rest with joy

In the temple of my heart.

    Lord, my beloved Lord,

I will not let Thee go.

Kabir, O Lord, begs of Thee:

    Do not be enticed elsewhere,

    Become mine, remain with me.

    Great post Bro.

It shows how totally close minded can these people be, without any sense or logic, but blind following someone who is the cause of all the cultural mental retardness in them, also an open tap of the most evil and negative behaviours in full force.

They do not even know what Allah is, and thus misguided, anf out of ignorance  they make Him a partner of their cruel and inhuman attitude towards mankind.

Had they, or their leaders. had even 1 gram of experience of that reality called God, Allah, Akal Purukh or any name given to that Absolute Supreme Truth, believe it, they would be definetely not ordinary human beings, but for sure good human beings, which is the first step of the ladder which takes us to Him, to whomsoever, of any creed, caste or colour, that decides to climb that ladder until it reaches that infinite and unfathomable realm known as Sach Khand by the grace of the Guru.

Set him up at work. Terrorists. Were it not for the dangerous precedent, I'd suggest outlawing islam in all countries not muslim.

Let's get to it. They won't rest until were all dead or slaves or toilets.

Their religion itself is hate, and total made up garbage by a pedophile. It's rediculous and sounds disgustung.

    Very well said Bro.

    👏 Bravo.

I would like to add some points to your brave and bold statement above.

I firmly believe, whosoever has attributed and injected the garbage and devlish behaviour /thinking in a philosophy with a name given as Islam to it, is more like someone possesed by the devil himself and under the effects of hard narcotics.

Otherwise it can not be explained the amount of wickedness, terrorism, sexual predators  and a long list of the most negative behaviours.

It is widely believed by almost all religions that God is love and love is God.

And so, if anyone devotes himself /herself to that God, naturally, that person receives the blessings of divine rays of goodness and truthfulness from that original and nameless God.

The problem is when the ignorant fools without having even an inch of a inner experience of that ultimate Truth, wants to limit it within the 4 walls of their thick stupid minds.

That is when all the foolish expressions start by saying, my god is superior to yours, and thus join us , or, you are the enemy of my god and so I have to kill you.

Can anyone fall so low and be so stupid or idiot?

The ultimate Truth, can not be limited by our words in any language, nor dirty and polluted imagination.

If any religion induces you in that thinking, believe it, it is not a religion, but a dark devlish philosophy.

That ultimate Truth, is known as Light also.

Can anybody control or change the natural properties of Light?

    NO.

If such is the case of even the lights in the universe, how come can anyone limit or modify to fit their own frame of ignorance, that ultimate and Divine Light?

It is absurd and ridiculous, and the outcome of it, is only  evil.

Hey people, remove the tight layers of ignorance from your minds, and benefit yourself by exposing yourselves to the Light of that Ultimate Truth, and see  how you start becoming first of all good human beings and then pure divine drops of that Light, free from all limitations and ignorance, for then you shall see that One same Light of Truth in all beings.

Call it Allah, God, Bhagwan or Waheguru... it does not make any difference, for the difference will only come when oneself devotes to that Truth, not our petty ignorant imagination.

The Bani says : Sabna jeea ka Iko DAATA.

Which means, there is only one creator of all the beings.

This verse above is a reflection of the experience of someone who has manifested that ultimate Light within himself.

Further on, the Bani also says:

Sabh meh Jot, jot hae soee.

This means, He the Lord, embodiment of Light, love and mercy, is all Light, and His ray of light permeates all beings.

True religion, does not divide or excludes anybody, whether be a believer or an atheist, for it knows that everybody and everything is created by that Truth, that Sach.

If anybody thinks that by giving names in any languages or dharams to that Truth, so in that way "their so imagined god" is superior to others' , then sorry to say that, that belief is total ignorance.

The Bani also says, when we go from this creation, there in the spiritual realms, you will not be asked about your nationality, social status, gender, or religion.

But, about how much you were a good human being, and how much you succeeded in manifesting that Ultimate Truth/Light within yourself in order to get free from ignorance and let that Divine Light shine within you  and get imbued with virtues of goodness, such as : mercy, forgiveness, contentment and above all truthfulness.

I can proudly say, all that is stated above is that what Sikhee teaches us through the Bani.

    Sat Sree Akal.

Could our sant babas also be contributing to the problem by only blessing people with boys?

Definetely, fake sant babas will do so.

For true Saints, themselves live in His hukum and teach us human beings also in living in that state, for all that happens is due to our own past karmas, with our past karmas, we get our present life, with a particular gender, born to particular parents, particular country, race, siblings, friends and foes... even our birth and death is conditioned by our karmas, from our low and petty manipulative human level, we think we can modify or change things/events .... but from a higher level, everything is happening within the parameters of the law of karma, our very own unchangeable past karmas.

The Bani says: aapay beejeh aapay khaae.

If the Lord started acting as per our manipulative and petty desires, His creation would be a chaos, but thankfully He has kept Himself out the reach of those greedy, ahankari, and egoistical manipulative human beings.... for He is only available to those who love Him only, for His sake alone, and live in His will at all times.

the problem is u r using english tranlations and i have noticed that there are differences in translations by various writers , and i think prof sahib singh shi=ould be preferred , because they have written gurbani grammar .

    Bro,

the real problem is not using a particular language to explain what the Bani wants to tell us, rather not understanding it correctly. In that sense, one maybe "somebody" in any particular languages, that does not guarantee the understanding.

Moreover, this SA is basically  an English forum, so to an extent English is used to communicate with each other, no language should be excluded or discarded as long as it takes us nearer to the real meaning.

The differences you have noticed in the several writers, is not because of they are well versed in the language they have done the translations, but, because have yet to mature spiritually to understand and convey the message given by Guru Jee.

So Bro, the language is not to be blamed, it is their lacking of being near some Mahapurukh or a Saintly person to understand the true value of Bani.

Just see, how many among our "kaum" are well versed in Gurmukhi and punjabi, and repeat or recite the  Bani fluently, but, have they ever stopped to understand what the Bani is telling us to do?

Myself, I was like that.... for many years that happened with me also, but, by His kirpa, slowly and slowly  started to see to an extent the real meaning of what the Bani is telling us.

It takes many years to see the real meaning from a different perspective, and for that one has to mature spiritually,  one has to have love or hunger for the Bani.

One such mahapurkh which influenced me a lot was Sant Maskeen Jee, by listening to almost all of his "kathaas".

I used to record them on CDs and then listen them quietly in my room in my spare time, and I was amazed by how his explanations of the Bani were so inspiring, and something inside told me he was quite correct.

By continuously listening to real mahapurkhs, slowly and slowly, one´s mind gets dyed with their higher level of seeing things, and by His kirpa also, one´s mind starts moving in the right direction.
