  1. Well ive been to his lectures and he said that Raag music is Indian Classical Music, when you refer to Indian Classical Music in India its called Raag. The British call it Indian Classical Music because they speak English thats why they call it Indian Classical Music.

Modern day Kirtan is composed with Bhaajey, which im not too funed of. Raag Music is the score or the mood of the music, the style in which Guru Ji told Sikhs to sing bani to.

Raag music came before Gurus' time, but our Gurus' gave life to Raag music once again, thats what he said in the lecture.

  2. It teaches pure gurmat sangeet (researched over 20 years from every known source) not Indian Classical based raag kirtan as many others teach.

Well last time I went to a few of his lectures and he said that Raag music is what the Gurus' gave to Indian Music, Raag Music is Indian Classical Music. There was a guy that was cured of his sickness with Raag Kirtan who which also attented the lecture and gave his testimonial to everyone at the lecture.

The guy which held the lecture also said that Raag Kirtan is dying out and Music is being copied from other music scores.

Raj Academy only teach Raag Music.

  3. Do you believe truth is kept in a pretty box? If God created all and everyone is apart of God then who is Good and who is Bad? Everything which you see is happening in his Will, we have no control over his will. If truth was kept in a box and you went outside this box, would you feel naked? When you become one with truth, truth is with you, truth doesnt get left behind when you leave your house.

If you believe God is everywhere then God himself is the truth.

  4. For years I believed that truth had been changed by people who wish to change it so that people can do "Anti-Dhurmic" stuff. But lately ive found a different view.

Christainty has been changed not because people wish to change it to fit their life but to make the truth easier to understand to them. People dont fully wanna understand why he/she did this or did that, some people wish to believe ignorance is bliss and wish to ignore or block out throughts and feelings. But I believe this ignorance only adds coal to the fire (ignorance). Guru Ji even said why call other religious texts false, false are does who dont comprehend them.

Im starting to believe that this is happening in Sikhi in itself some groups (not naming any) decide to ignore parts of the Guru Granth Sahib. Some even go further and then start to ignore Sri Dasam Granth and even Sri Sarbloh Granth, even in sikhi related pictures, without even trying to understand what kinds of meanings they may hold, or how this idea came about but instead wanna make the truth easier to understand to them.

Please feel free to add your throughts.

  5. Has anyone on this form had any out of body experiences? If so how is this done? What was your experience like?

You know whatt, this might sound funny but I think i have (Duno for sure)?

Basically im lying down in my bed, and i would fall asleep. And a few times ages ago, when i was sleeping, I saw my body and i was seprated from it and i was trying to get back into the body? A few times myself wasnt able to back in the body? Then once I did? I woke up?? I duno if this was a dream?

Has anyone had this same experience?

  6. i see. but do we belive in the islamic form of hell where people will be burned and tortured?

Well I believe Hell Fire is inside us much like Heaven. When we do things with the throught of lust (Kaam), anger (Krodh), greed (Lobh), attachment (Moh), pride (Ahankar) and we experience hell, we burn ourselves, God doesnt burn us. How can any father burn his own child, if we are a part of him?

When you think of God none of the vices enter the mind. The Five vices are the properties of ego. This is why Guru Ji is always say remember God, remember God.

  7. does'nt the last mean that, people not following sikhism wall end in hell?

No it doesnt mean that because even Sikhs can go to Hell.

What Guru Ji is saying is that what ever religion you are of, what ever religious ritual or duties you perform all are useless with out remebering God. If you dont remeber God but perform religious rituals and duties you are performing them with an ego and only thinking of self gain. The best thing to do is to recite God's Name.

Its not easy talking about hell and Heaven, because according to Sikhi there are Millions of Hells as well as Millions of Heaven. We also believe in reincarnation and each incarnation has its known Hell and Heaven, incarnated in the human form also comes with its own hellish and heaven'ish experiences. The human form is different to the other forms because us humans have the abilty to break the cycle of birth and death and be one with God.

  8. Good point. Then this means that the idea of saying something is kachi bani is redundant. Im sorry for my own misunderstanding. I guess I should have taken my own advice which I said before, which was to question it.

I have no trouble with the camp itself, im thinking about going this year also, because i couldnt go last year :( . Ive had many friends that went to Sikh Student Camp and I am very much looking forward to going.

  9. Gurfateh

In the army of government of Guru,we had Muslims and

Hindus so we need to see who wrote this 27 section.

Then term comes roam independantly. That may means that in the political indepeandce of Sikhs, they must not surrender thier Right(of political freedom) to non Sikh.It may be more to do with giving away self right of political freedom to non Sikh, then say not taking help of non Sikhs in Sikh political establishment.

    Same vice versa

  10. Ive heard this before too. But I would have throught the animal which died takes its karmar with them.

Tell you the truth im a bit skeptical about this. Like I am skeptical about the idea of Guru Ji mixing amrit with his toe Im sorry but I this doesnt sound like my Guru, im sorry if ive upset a few people here, maybe im mistaken? But this is a different topic.

But sticking with the topic, all of you should know that the soul is immortal, in this whole world theres only one ang in reality.

I would also think that the spirt would exit the present animal body and go into another body depending on its karma.

How can someone say that there is 8.4 Million incarnations and then say that the animals sprit will give you dukh when you consume the flash? Why doesnt this happend when you eat rice? Veggie burger? etc etc.

People are not questioning no more. We got all the instruments in Sikhi but dont use logic with it.

Im sorry if i came off a bit strong.

  11. I dont believe in the caste system, but Guru Ji said that one is called Brahmin when they place Naam in their heart.

    caste.gif

The diagram above is taken from the website (link given below) and is not my work.

    http://www.friesian.com/caste.htm

Anyone can be born twice i.e. When someone loves God so much with their hearts and minds they themselves become born twice in the same lifetime. When one takes the Naam once becomes born twice. When one takes Amrit becomes born twice.

Again I would like to stress I dont believe in Caste System. I dont believe the skin colour makes a difference either, I believe that to be the colour of the mind, when the lords light is reveled to its follower, the follower fills up with light and becomes fair inside not by skin colour.
