  1. Hi all

    Hope everyone is well.

A very close friend of mine has been unwell for the past few months. cut a long story short, his mother had been to see the local pandit who advised her that some one has done 'Jaadu Toona' on her son.

The boys father brushed this off and turned a blind eye to it. as time has gone on, my mates health has deterioarated and things in his personal life have also started going wrong. Docs/hospitals have brushed this off and cant find anything wrong and his tests come back as clear.

My mates dad got concerned and went to see some sant about this, who also stated that someone has done something to their son. Why my mates father didnt ask for a remedy there, god knows. My mate used to visit the gurudwara evfery weekend, but hasnt been for a good few months as he said he 'doesnt feel upto it'

Please can some one offer any guidence on what bani's can be recited to stop/reverse what is happening.

Thanks for your time guys. God Bless,

  2. Thank you for your input guys. Its mostly the 'elder' generation that state that if you read it, you wont be able to control your anger, and when asking the elders if they have read the bani, they simply reply 'Nope, we have no reason to read it as times have chnged and we dont want to read it due to the dangers behind it', those are the exact words some one said to me!!!

@suryadev: Did you have any of the 'Angry' Symphtoms when reciting the bani?

  4. Thanks for the reply bro. why do elders say that this is not right is it portrays a wrong image for an amritdhari. surly all they are doing is for what they love doing. some elders have said that its wrong and they shouldnt be playing/listening to any sort of music and going into clubs doing what they are doing.

  5. Thanks Jaikaara.

regards to brahmanvaad, please can you define what this is, is it all related to hinduism? Alot of sikhi has been christianised and we have lost alot of sikhi. I.e the debate and sri dasam granth, people saying that this is written by a hindu pandit etc... Have people forgotten why we were called singh (to infuse the shakti of chandi in us) does that make this brahmanvaad matt?

I have had many debates, one being about the yantras and i got called an agent of RSS.... We need to study our religion. sikhi has now become a 'culture' as opposed to sikhi. To be honest,

The Katchi lassi is used to clean shastars, we should apply tilak of sandal on the shastars. When the gurus gave their gaddi to another, they gave a coconut, 5 gold coins and applied tilak on the forehead of the new guru..... please can you define 'Brahmvaad'?

I asked someone to help understand Mukt Marg granth and i got told i had 'Brahmin Matt' and that i was an RSS agent! thats indian menatlity! i then asked another giani to help me, and he also said that he had issues understanding it. As for the yantras, i have heard and seen of 2. One had the Guru Gayatri Ji from Jaap Sahib ji. In the Mukt Marg Granth, there is some where where it states that you have 6 boxes and in each box there is a each letter of satnam.S-T-N-M etc for the yantra, it was really complicated. there is also a a manglacharan which states the praise of Laxmi Ji in Sahib Sri Sarabloh Granth Ji. Also, in the Mukht Marg Granth, dasam ji states in one paath 'Ik-ong-kaar Sri Ganesayi Namaha' Is this meaning Ganesh Ji, or am i mis-interpreting something?

I will honestly say, this forum has helped me immensely. We need to keep topics like this going and the admins support. This is the core of sikhi if you ask me. It has helped me under stand that Guru Granth Sahib ji is not a book, but the Jot Of the 10 Gurus!

    God Bless

Firstly a happy vaisakhi to you and everyone on here.

the information you require can be recieved form the Mukt Marg Granth. i know i read something like this in there, but could understand fully on what it had stated. Everything you want is in there and you can read it on Scribd.com if you havnt already got a copy. If you do get more information, i would greatly appreciate it if you could also share as im also very interested.

  8. Peoples....

There is no point in arranging debates and arguing over what is and what isnt. Let it Be. For those that dont believe, fine. For those that do, thats fine also. But please, lets not get involved in slanging others beliefs. I personally am For Sri Dasam Guru Granth Ji, but yet members of my family are anti dasam. Does that mean that i stop talking with them? These are their beliefs and im no one to force them in what to believe in and what not to. We will all be judged by our actions in the court of god. Yet these people read Jaap Sahib, Swaiyee Chaupai and other banis! People will never understand the wisdom of our guru's. SGGS Ji is Brahm di Bani, Sri Dasam Granth Shows the femanine aspect of god. We worship one shakti that has many forms. Sri Sarbloh Guru Granth also advises us how to live the life of a Khalsa. This is all down to education, thats all. With regards to arranging debates against each other, why cant we make a world forum where the sikhs unite and fight against the necessary things?? With all due respect (and i dont mean to sound degrading)but sikhi is a dying religion because we are getting into petty debates. We need to unite, fight against tyranny, fight for singhs like the ones that gave their shaheedi in afganistan. We need to unite and be one, not separate and segrageted.
