  1. I would quote directly from Gurbani to counter all these assertions. If there is one tukk which goes against the sanatani grain, there are 10 which confirm gurus' faith in the sanatani tradition.

Also, from his adulthood (when he would have started composing shabads) to his death, show me one instance where Guru Nanakji mentioned (in the indian context) a faith other than Hindus and Islam. What stopped him from saying "i m not a Hindu, I am a Sikh". even after his death, as the fable goes, his body disappeared and only a pile of flowers was left. Hindu followers took their share and Muslims took theirs. What did 'sikhs' get? why they are not even mentioned!!

Anyway my comment was about Sanatani rites being observed during Guru Nanak's (or for any other Guru) marriage which included a havan and recitation of Ved mantras by a pandit. There is evidence that Guru sahib performed his father's shrad before his death. Either accept it like a true sikh should or enjoy your stay in denial (khoo ch baithe raho)

Those Hindu followers were Sikhs and the real Sanatani satans like you were always planning to stabbed Gurus and their Sikhs .

  2. Sikh Texts on Distinctiveness of Sikhism

Bhai Mani Singh writes in Gian Ratanavali:

Hajees asked Baba Nanak, "O Saint, are you a Hindu or Moslem?" Then Baba Nanak replied, "I am witness for both."

    Gur Partap Sooraj Parkash:

First there were Hindus and Muslims, take note, there are three now. (Gur Partap Surya)

On his way towards Deccan, Guru Gobind Singh reached Pushkar .The discussion that took place there is recorded this way in Surya Prakash.

Brahmins, Merchants and others came with Pandit Chaitin. Having made salutation they sat down in the assembly and asked, “What is their Caste? How we recognize them. Your companions wear unshorn hair, what we can say is their Caste? There are many new garbs, but none of them is Hindu or Moslem.” Having heard that Guru replied, “Khalsa is the third Panth in the world. It is distinct from Hindus and Moslems. They are servants of the Eternal, Immortal.” When Guru Gobind Singh met the Emperor Bahadur Shah, this discussion transpired.

Bahadur Shah said, “There are two religions, Hindus and Moslems, What appeals to you? On what you have faith, Hinduism or Islam?”

To that Guru Gobind Singh replied, "Hindu, Moslems whatever way they follow we wish them both well. The Moslems preach fasting; prayer call and five prayers are supreme for them. Hindus perform Sandhya, adoration and rites of stone Gods, and such others are acceptable to Hindus. We consider both the same way abandoning all others; we have established the Khalsa as the third (religion). Without distinction we abandon all else and seek the shelter of the Eternal, the Purusha." (Gur Pratap Surya)

    Rehatnamas:

Khalsa should stay distinct from Hindus and Moslems. (Rehatnama Bhai Chaupa Singh-l0)

Khalsa should remove the domination (influence) of Hindus and Moslems. (Rehatnama Bhai Daya Singh-11)

    Bhagat Ratnavli:

Not only the baptized Sikhs are separate from Hindus and others, but also stories of Sahajdhari Sikhs tell us that they abandoned other rites and customs and adopted Gurmat. For this see the explanation of the 11th Var of Bhai Gurdas. (Bhagat Ratanavali by Bhai Mani Singh)

Sikhs addressed their supplication, "O True King, the Pundits in Kashmir do not allow the Sikhs to read Bani (Word) of the Guru. They say that Sanskrit is the language of the Gods and the vernacular is the language of mortals. You have abandoned the daily rites and so we are not going to have daily relations with you." Then the Guru asked Sodhi Madho to go to Kashmir and preach Sikhism there.

    Gur Bilas and Panth Parkash:

To the two religions was added the Third. Taking the support of Almighty, Guru Gobind Singh created the Khalsa Panth, above the Hindus and Moslems. "Forgetting all ways adopt the Khalsa Panth,” said the Tenth Guru, the Light Incarnate. (Gur Bilas)

Again distinct from the Hindus and Moslems, He said, "Establish I this Panth, powerful indeed." (Panth Parkash)

Conversation between Nadir Shah and Governor of Lahore

It (Khalsa Panth) is distinct from Hindus and Moslems. Distinct and marvelous is their sect. They perform marriage ceremony neither like Hindus nor like Moslems.

Their marriage is Anand ceremony. When a Singh (man) or Singhni (woman) dies, they prepare sacred food and distribute it. They do not perform the Hindu rites and they do not throw the bones (of the dead) in the Ganges. On the tenth day they complete the reading of the Granth and distribute the offerings to the poor. They do not wear the sacred thread, nor put the mark on their forehead. They never worship idols. They worship the One Almighty and do not make obeisance to anyone else. Vedas, Puranas and other (Semitic) books, they do not accept the authority of any. Whatever Guru Nanak said, they keep faith on that. From the same vessel they administer Amrit (baptismal water) to everyone. They all eat together and live like true brothers. They leave behind all caste, Varna, family names, Karma and Dharma of the ancestors. On the contrary, if any Sikh comes to our religion (Islam), on getting the opportunity he goes back and baptizing him they absorb him in their religion.

Tat Khalsa is the representation of the Guru “(they say) it is beyond the coming and going through the life cycles. Hindus are blind, Muslims are one eyed, but really sages are the Sikhs of the Guru” distinct from Hindus and Moslems.

All the customs are different, among them. They do not acknowledge the ghosts at all. They do not recognize graves and cemeteries. They do not go to the Ganges for pilgrimage. They do not consider impure puerperium (state after child birth).

They do not wear the Janeau and do not put the sacred mark. They do not abide by the rites of the Hindus like keeping a Bodi (tuft of hair), Dhoti and Rosary of Tulsi, performing Hom, or Shradh.

They consider their own religion to be better and if somebody calls them Hindu they get angry. They have abandoned all the customs of the Hindus. They live like real brothers, and respect each other. They are greatly united.

A Sikh always sacrifices himself for other Sikhs gladly in time of need.

    Another Historic Account:

Bhai Dhesi and Bhai Jodha sought protection of Guru Arjan. They addressed their appeal thus, "O True King, the Pundits do not let us sit in Pangat. They complain, in spite of being Brahmins we have become disciples (Sikhs) of a Kshatriya. We have abandoned the language of the Gods in the Vedas and sing the songs of the Guru in Vernacular, having abandoned Janam Ashtmi, Shivratri, Ekadsi, we feed Sikhs. We have abandoned Gyatri, Tarpan, Sandhya, Pind, Patal, rites of birth and death and perform the Sikh prayer and distribute Karah Prasad after Ardas, as the rites of the dead. O Protector of the humble we have come to your shelter. You have saved us. The egoist Brahman has gone away from us. We have received gnosis and name of the Lord."

  3. "Sikh religion"? Is it the same as Sikh Dharma?

In Sikh religion, there is no condemnation of any Avatar o prophet and there is no attempt to give the deficiencies of any person"

    Really, you think so?

If Hindu (as in Sanatan) avatars have been eulogised chapter after chapter, if Hindu concepts have been reiterated, if Gurus lived and died like Hindus (following their rituals); if "sikh dharma' is not mentioned even once even in later granths; how Sikhi is diff from Hinduism/Sanataism?

Now do not give me the lame argument that Allah and jesus are also mentioned in Guru Granth Sahib so why Sikhism is not the same as Islam or Christianity. It is about the central theme the theology. There is absolutely no difference between Sikh theology and the one followed by many sects (panths) under the umbrella of the indic Sanatamism (called Hinduism by the colonialists and foreigners dating back to Arabs).

    Gurbani Concerning Hinduism

“Many Shashtras and many Simirtis have I seen and searched them all. Nanak, they equal not Lord God's invaluable Name.” (Ang 265)

“You worship gods and goddesses, but you do not know the Supreme Lord God. Says Kabeer, you have not remembered the Lord who has no ancestors; you are clinging to your corrupt ways.” (Ang 332)

“The Pandits, the religious scholars, the teachers and astrologers, and those who endlessly read the Puraanas, do not know what is within; God is hidden deep within them. || 4 ||” (Ang 419)

“The Hindus have forgotten the Primal Lord; they are going the wrong way. As Naarad instructed them, they are worshipping idols. They are blind and mute, the blindest of the blind. The ignorant fools pick up stones and worship them. But when those stones themselves sink, who will carry you across? ||2||” Ang 556

“Why worship gods and goddesses, O Siblings of Destiny? What can we ask of them? What can they give us? The stone gods are washed with water, O Siblings of Destiny, but they just sink in the water.” (Ang 637)

"The Hindu is sightless; the Muslim has only one eye. The spiritual teacher is wiser than both of them." (Ang 875)

"I do not make pilgrimages to Mecca, nor do I worship at Hindu sacred shrines. I serve the One Lord, and not any other." (Ang 1136)

"I do not perform Hindu worship services, nor do I offer the Muslim prayers. I do not perform Hindu worship services, nor do I offer the Muslim prayers." (Ang 1136)

    "I am not a Hindu, nor am I a Muslim." (Ang 1136)

"I have abandoned both the Pandits, the Hindu religious scholars, and the Mullahs, the Muslim priests. ||1||Pause|| I weave and weave, and wear what I weave. Where egotism does not exist, there I sing God's Praises. ||2|| Whatever the Pandits and Mullahs have written, I reject; I do not accept any of it. ||3||" (Ang 1158)

"They who say the stone is a god; in vain is their service. He who falls at the feet of the stone; vain goes his labor. My Lord ever speaks. The Lord gives gifts to all the living beings. The Lord is within, but the blind one knows not. Deluded by doubt, he is caught in a noose. The stone speaks not, nor gives anything. In vain are the ceremonies of the idolater, and fruitless his service." (Ang 1160)

"The blind ignorant ones stray in doubt and so deluded, deluded they pluck flowers for worship. They worship the lifeless stones and adore tombs. Their service all goes in vain." (Ang 1264)

If the Lord Allah lives only in the mosque, then to whom does the rest of the world belong? According to the Hindus, the Lord's Name abides in the idol, but there is no truth in either of these claims. ||1|| (Ang 1349)

"I do not accept Ganesha as important. I do not meditate on Krishna, neither on Vishnu. I do not hear them and do not recognize them. My love is with the Lotus feet of God. He is my protector, the Supreme Lord. I am dust of his Lotus feet." (Guru Gobind Singh)

"Mahadev called himself eternal; Vishnu called himself Supreme, Brahma called himself lord; none of them realized the Transcendent Lord. All those sages created by Hari, They propagated their own Simritis, the way by which one can enshrine the Lotus feet of Hari in mind, they did not adopt that way of meditation. Brahma produced the four Vedas but those who love the Lotus-feet of Hari rest outside the attachment of the Vedas. Prophet Mohammad was created by the Lord. He was made sovereign of Arabia. He also created a new Dharma and the circumcised (Muslims) became supreme. All were forced to meditate on his name (Mohammad Rasul). Nobody remembered the Name of the True Lord. Then I (Hari) adopted you as my Son so that you may start the Khalsa Panth. Everywhere you spread the Dharma and instruct the public not to practice chicanery. What the Hari says I (Gobind Singh) utter that, and do not subject myself to anybody’s influence. We do not worship stones, neither adopt various garbs. We do not keep matted hair nor wear ear rings. We do not subject ourselves to anyone’s influence. We perform whatever God ordains. I have come for this in the world. The Lord sent (me) to uphold Dharma. All the Avtars (Prophets) that have been before proclaimed themselves only." (Bachittar Natak, Guru Gobind Singh Ji)

"Some say the Muslim rosary, others meditate by Hindu Mala. Some read Puranas, others read Quran. Both waste themselves in the love of arguments. Lord is distinct from both." (Bachittar Natak, Guru Gobind Singh Ji)

"Ever since I have grasped Your feet, I have not thought of anybody else.

I do not accept the doctrines enunciated by various faiths, believing in Ram, Rahim, Puranas and Qoran.

The Simritis, Shastras and Vedas mention different concepts but I do not subscribe to any of them.

O God, the Sword-bearer (of justice)! With Your Grace, all that has been uttered by me has been done under Your command.

    Dohra!

I have shunned every door and have entered Your door

Please hold my arm and keep my honour, Gobind is ever Your slave." (Raam Avtar, Guru Gobind Singh)

Guru Gobind SIngh Ji on Khalsa:

Day and night they meditate on the Light manifest. Accept the One, and they do not contemplate anyone else. In complete love they keep the form. They never keep faith in fasts, graves, Mausoleums, pilgrimages, ritual charity, false compassion, austerity, false constraints. Except the one, the Lord, they do not recognize anyone. When the Light illuminates the Mind, only then Khalsa is known, distinct and pure. (33 Swaiyas)

  4. They do faint overwhelmed with gratitude. they did faint when Todar Mal spread gold coins for 100 of meters to get Shahibzadas' bodies or when Mati Das Sati das Dyal Das made the supreme sacrifice. or when banda bahadur avenged Guru sahib's humiliations and also made the ultimate sacrifice...they did faint when Hindu rajas gave refuge to Sikh children, women, men EVERY TIME a muslim invader came knocking or when hindus risked their lives and properties to save 1000s of sikh brethren in 1984 delhi riots.

get a life otherwise keep rotting in hatred and krodh

Sati Das , Mati Das and Banda Bhadur were Sikhs and no doubt Todar Mal being a Hindu helped Sikhs even when majority of Hindu were working with Mughals by providing information of Sikhs. Where were tri devs hidding when their Mandirs were getting burned down ? Why crore of Hindus whose population is more then insects in India were watching the humilation of their temples .

If any doubt left i would quote from Dasam Granth's Krishna Avatar.

In Sikh religion, there is no condemnation of any Avatar o prophet and there is no attempt to give the deficiencies of any person. This is the advice: God is above death and birth and is worthy of adoration. Prophets are all working in His will.

Fish, Tortoise, Vairah, Lion, Bawan (Dwarf), Budha, Parasram, Ram Chandra, Krishna and Kalki.

In Dasam Granth the Tenth Master has rendered the story of Bhagauti in Vernacular.

"There is no other desire, O Lord, only wish to fight for Dharma." (Krishna Avatar)

In the same way previously Allah was the name of an old idol. The English word 'God' was used by Teutons to mean Dieu. When Teutons adopted Christianity 'God' came to mean the Eternal. Jehovah is also such a word, which is used by Jews to designate God, but it was the Name of a special god of Assyria. In the same way there are numerous names in other religions.

Gurdwara is a historical and will be built there and hue cry is same as you people made of Raja Ram chandar birth place. Even Hindus ae not sure where muthlogical character was born.

  8. What explains non-resident Hindus’ attraction for Modi?
Sangh organisations are capitalising on the diaspora’s need to anchor itself in values from home.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s enviable popularity among non-resident Indians is perhaps linked to his emergence as an ostensible resolution to the identity crisis they experience in foreign countries. Most of these NRIs will never relocate to India even as they pine for it, both as an aspect of their memory and as the principal fount of their cultural identity.

It is the theme of cultural identity that unites different segments of the Indian diaspora. There are those whose ancestors were taken away from the land of their birth as indentured labour and settled in what were then the British colonies. Then there are those who migrated voluntarily to the developed world, primarily inhabited and culturally dominated by whites. Their motivations to migrate were aimed at enhancing their economic condition or working in a system which could help flower their intellectual potential and skills, or a combination of both.

The cultural dislocation the second category of migrants from India experience is understandable, too rooted as most of them are in their traditions to embrace a way of life alien or remarkably different from theirs. However, cultural dislocation haunts their progenies in second and third generations as well, eloquently portrayed through the popular initialization of ABCD, or American-born Confused Desi.

    Hoary values

Though tossed around in mirth in the United States, the ABCD speaks to us of a cultural phenomenon that is heartfelt if not tragic. Paranoid about getting sucked into the whirlpool of western culture, with its emphasis on individualism, irreligiousness, and moral values dubbed as lax or loose, the first-generation migrants seek to anchor their children in the hoary Indian tradition, classical as well as popular. Really, you would not want your children to become what you yourself do not want to be.

From this psychological-cultural matrix springs the identity crisis of NRIs. They are torn between two cultures, one which is dominant and the other in which they are socialised at home. So you have parents imbibing in their children Indian cultural values, or ideas about religion, rituals and lessons derived from the great epics. In the NRI child is thus born a sense of his or her cultural distinctiveness from others around him or her.

Since this distinctiveness is built around cultural insecurities, the NRI’s experience often deters him or her from embracing the mainstream lifestyle. It is isolating as well as makes them feel inferior, which though is often dressed up as cultural uniqueness and superiority. This distinctiveness gets further accentuated as the child develops a consciousness that arises from being in a minority, or from countenancing racial discriminations, real or imagined, or from his or her lesser privileged position. Even many of those sailing the sea of success have their lifeboats made of planks sawn from Indian culture.

    Political overtones

It is because of cultural identity that the word Indian acquires complicated connotations among the NRIs. To a large segment of Hindus among them who feel the pressure of negotiating with the western culture, Indian tradition becomes synonymous with Hindu tradition. This Hindu tradition has acquired unmistakable political overtones because the task of its propagation and preservation is now shared between family and cultural-religious organisations, which have mushroomed over the last 30 years.

Most of these organisations owe allegiance to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and Bharatiya Janata Party, often with overlapping leadership. This creates a situation in which “Indian” equals “Hindu” – and which, in turn, equals the RSS-BJP. It is this linkage which explains the popularity of Modi among a segment of NRIs, who better fit the descriptive of non-resident Hindus of India.

In this sense, Modi presents to the Hindu NRI the possibility of resolving his or her identity crisis. He is the leader who is unabashedly Hindu, who kept the Navratra fast on his trip to the United States trip, who is considered the Hindu Hriday Samrat but who is also now the prime minister. Here is the man who was denied the American visa because of the grisly 2002 Gujarat riots, but who is feted and courted by none other than the US president. Ultimately, seen through this prism, it becomes the story of the Hindu triumphing over the American, of Hindu culture measuring to that of the West.

Modi also promises to these dislocated, culturally confused Hindus a new dawn in their land of origin, a reason for them to feel proud of their original home from where they or their ancestors came. He tells them of government employees who have begun to report on time in India, as they do in their adopted land. He speaks of providing an India as clean as the country in which they reside. He shows them the dream of an India rising to take its seat at the global high table. To his NRI followers, it is the India that is Hindu he is speaking about.

    Organisational support

In Australia, he talked of having Hindi included in the state-sponsored programme on foreign languages, of propagating yoga and ayurveda, and, just in case his audience had missed out, reminded them of his United Nations speech in which he detailed the benefits of yoga in the modern era. Before embarking on his trip to Australia, Modi had also spoken in Mumbai about the Indians in ancient times mastering the science of plastic surgery.

To the insecure Hindus abroad, all this is a vindication of their belief that their ancient past was glorious. It is altogether a different matter that we often fantasise about what is lacking in us.

Despite Modi’s intuitive understanding of the cultural insecurities of non-resident Hindus of India, his astonishing popularity among them would not have been possible without the support of Hindu religious-cultural organisations. Take the Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh, which is celebrating its silver jubilee in the United States this year. The HSS conducts 140 weekly meetings, or shakhas, countrywide, with the aim of “maintaining Hindu cultural identity in harmony with the larger community”.

    Sangh-BJP politics

The HSS has a children’s programme called Balagokulam, where, the website says, “children learn about their Hindu heritage” so that they can become confident representatives of Hindu Dharma. “They have fun playing games with other kids,” the website declares. And pray, what are the games these children play? Kho-kho and kabaddi. For the youth, the HSS conducts Yuva Sangams, or youth gatherings, where the emphasis is on “character-building” and where “inspiring lessons” from ancient scriptures are narrated to offer them role models. To the busy parents, these shakhas would seem ideal cultural incubators. Yet, simultaneously, their children cannot but emerge from these sessions as overly proud Hindu Americans who support the Sangh-BJP politics.

The HSS has branches both in America and Europe, with some of its office-bearers also supervising the Overseas Friends of BJP, which is a vital instrument for mustering support for the ruling party abroad. Just to cite a few examples: Vishal Soni is an HSS activist, who is also the convenor of Denmark’s OFBJP, as is also true of OFBJP’s convenor in France. Its Toronto chapter is headed by Azad Kumar Kaushik, who is credited with forming the Canadian wing of the World Brahman Federation, which seeks to promote Brahman values.

Many of OFBJP convenors or presidents were connected to the RSS-BJP before they migrated from India. Australia’s Sanjay Patel grew up in Mehsana, Gujarat, was an active RSS member, and played a role in making Modi’s Vibrant Gujarat a success. Would it be difficult for him and the Sangh to gather 20,000 ecstatic Indians to listen to Modi? Behind the gathering of Indians we watch on TV is the untold story of the Sangh’s formidable organising capacity.

    Narrow NRI definition

What is true of Australia is also true of the US. The president OFBJP America is Jayesh Patel, who too grew in Gujarat and who is credited with having “served” the Indian-American community through various cultural, religious and political organisations. In case you wonder about the nature of these organisations, the BJP website notes, “He (Jayesh) is also associated with Sangh Parivar organisations in USA.” Then again, America’s OFBJP president elect, Chandrakant Patel, was a “childhood karyakarta of the Jan Sangh and BJP” in his home state of Chhattisgarh. Its immediate past president is Adapa V Prasad, who was a childhood swayamsevak before he migrated from India.

In addressing the cultural insecurities of Indians, these organisations, affiliated or owing allegiance to the RSS, end up defining the NRI as Hindu, besides driving a wedge in the community. It is to this section of NRIs that Modi is a darling, a rock star, a veritable hero. This sectional support for Modi among the NRIs leaves out all those Indians who do not wish to adopt the RSS construct of Hindu identity or who, to begin with, are not Hindu

But the RSS, obviously, will not be bothered. As the HSS website declares, “Hindu Jage, Vishwa jage (When the Hindu awakes, the world awakes).” Obviously, till then, we are all deemed to be asleep. This is an eloquent testimony to the Sangh-Hindu NRI interface being driven by feelings of insecurity and inferiority.

  9. Islam is not a religion that if practicised to the letter of the Quran and Sunnah is conducive to the well being of non-Muslims. Having the baang chanting five times a day that none is worthy of worship that the Muslim god and only Mohammed is a prophet of god does not sit well in a state that was a continuation of the Raj Khalsa of the Misls.

Read Uddardanti to understand how the Sikhs of that time viewed what the ultimate aim of the Khalsa Raj was. But beware as a Hindu fanatic fed of the RSS bukwas of the Khalsa having been created to save the Hindus, it might give you nightmares!

It would be interesting if some of the BJP pygmies attempt to copy the Sikh giants in banning the azan though I doubt they have the guts.

Where can we read Uddadanti ?

  10. Lies about Vande Matram
It is associated with Freedom fight of India while it is not. Bankhim himself as well Aurobindo Ghosh both gave the title of “Bengal Anthem” to this song. The novel depicts English as the savior of India and Muslims being the destroyers of India. Throughout the novel the English are shown as a well wishers, patron and sympathetic of Hindu fascism against Muslims. English rule is regarded as just and Muslim rule is projected as unjust and cruel.
There are stunning dialogues used to challenge Muslim’s ego such as:
NO WAY OUT EXCEPT KILLING AWAY MUSLIMS
Page 28: Bhawananda says: Is the king saving us? He has snatched our religion, nation and prestige. Now we are on the verge to die. Is it possible for Hindus to remain a Hindu without kicking out these drunkard bearded Muslims?
Mahendra asks: How could you kick them out?
    Bhawananda answers: Kill them
MUSLIMS DON’T WORSHIP OUR GODS, SO WIPE THEM OUT
Page 68: Bhawananda says: We are not eager to get throne. We only want to get rid of Muslims completely as they do not worship our Bhagwans.
    ENGLISH ARE SAVIOURS OF INDIA
Page 81: Bhawananda says: The English came to rescue India and save us from Muslims.
Page 81: Bhawananda says to an English soldier: Captain; I will not kill you. English are not our enemies. Why you came to help Muslims? I spare your life but you will be under our custody. You are our friends, jai ho (long live) English.
ENGLISH MUST KEEP AWAY WHEN HINDUS ARE FIGHTING
Page 82: Shanti says to an Englishman: I want to ask you one thing; why do you interfere when Hindus are fighting against Muslims?
    SANTHAANS (KARSEVAKS)’S VISCIOUS ACTIVITIES
The gang members of the Bhawananda party are named “Santhaan” in the novel. The writer reminds us of Gujrat, Orissa, Bombay 1992, Hashimpura and Nille’s carnage when Hindutva terrorism was at peak and the Karsewaks and Seniks were repeating the history of Santhaans which the writer describes with pride in these words describing the victory over Muslims.
Page 101 : All (Santhaans) are busy in looting now. All Muslim villages are unsafe. They will return home only after looting the Muslim villages and the “Resham ki Kothhi” (The Muslim Nawab Governor’s palace)
Page 108: The gangs of the Santhaan were roaming in the streets singing “Vande Matram” and Jai Jagdeesh. One group was looting enemy’s weapons, other one was looting clothe. Someone was kicking on the face of Muslim’s dead bodies. Some groups were engaged in stopping the people one by one and asking if they are ready to utter “Vande Matram” or face death. Someone was looting the shops of fruits and food stuff and someone was drinking milk from the Milk vendors. Some brave among them were chanting “Gopes of Burj have arrived, where are the Gopies?” (they were searching for Muslim Girls in the same style of Gujrat riots). All Santhaans were shouting “MUSLIMS DEFEATED, COUNTRY IS OURS NOW, O BROTHERS SAY HARI HARI”. They would give a horrible death if any Muslim is found. Some groups organized themselves and put the Muslim houses on fire and looted the booty. A NUMBER OF MUSLIMS CUT OFF THEIR BEARDS, RUBBED THE ASH ON THE FACES AND STARTED CHANTING RAM RAM. ON ASKING, THEY WOULD SAY WE ARE HINDUS.’’
The Muslims were saying to themselves “AFTER ALL, IS QURAN PROVED WRONG? WHAT WE GOT FROM PRAYING 5 TIMES A DAY? ALL WAS WRONG, HINDUS HAVE WON”
    EXTREME LOYALTY TO ENGLISH RULE
Those who take it for granted that the song Vande Matram is a national song, must read the following excerpts of Anand Mat and decide by themselves whether this movment was national or anti-national or a terrorist.
Page 123-125: The Sanyasis (Santhaans) defeated the Muslims. Leader of the Santhaans Satyanand says to Mahaguru: “Guruji, I humbly request you to tell me what we do next. I fought the war, won it and waived the flag of Santhaans”.
MahaGuru replies: Your mission is over. Muslims demolished. Now no need of any killing unnecessary.
Satyanand says: Of course, Muslim reign is over but the Hindu Raj is yet to be established.
MahaGuru says: Hindu state will not be established.
Satyanand says: O Prabhu (O God), If not Hindu state, then what state will be established? Another Muslim estate?
MahaGuru answers: There will be English rule now. You can not do welfare for the country. Whatever will happen now that will be good in your favour. Sanathan Dharm (Hinutva) can not prevail without the English rulers. English are highly educated. They will enlighten us with the education. Unless Hindus will benefit from their education, they can not attain power. People will leave peacefully as long as English will rule. No need to fight against English, come with me without arms or weapons.
Satyanand says: If it were that the English had to be made rulers, why then we were made to fight for them?
MahaGuru answers: English were hoarders that time. Their eyes were on hoardings only. Now they will take the reign in their hands only due to Santhaans. Take it this way that the English will establish their rule only because of you.
Satyanand’s eyes filled with tears. He says with pain “shall I irrigate my mother with enemy’s blood”?
MahaGuru says: who enemy? Who is enemy? There is no enemy anymore. English are our friends. No one can dare to fight against them. There is no such power on the earth to defeat English.
In the last chapter, the writer changes the plot of novel. Instead of concluding on establishment of Hindu Raj, he diverted the end towards loyalty of English. Thus he killed two birds in one hit. He succeeds in spreading hatred against Muslims and on the other hand wins the laurels by the English. He welcomes English in the last chapter and says: “NOW ENGLISHMEN HAVE COME. OUR LIVES AND PROPERTIES WILL BE SAFE IN THEIR HANDS”
VISHNU POOJA IS NOTHING BUT KILLING MUSLIMS
Part 3, chapter 1 says “the Santhaans, the real sons of Bharat Maata, propogate Vande Mataram”. They gather Hindus and ask “Do you worship Vishnu?” They would inquire: “how to worship Vishnu”? Santhaans reply: “destroy Muslim houses, put them on fire”.
The same chapter delineates how these Vande Mataram chanters harass Muslims, how Muslims beg for life and run away leaving their houses behind. The Santhaans collect the booty from these houses and deposit in Vishnu temple. Prostrate to Vishnu and pledge to recruit more number of volunteers.
WHEN WILL WE DEMOLISH MOSQUES AND REPLACE THEM WITH TEMPLES?
Part 3, chapter 8 is full of Muslim’s carnage which was repeated in Gujrat. The chapter describes how the Muslims were slaughtered here and there. The Hindu zealots are full of passion and courage had tightened the rope around the Muslims. Muslim rule is finished. Their dignity, supremacy, wealth and power all ruined. They were running for their lives. The writer presents this victorious moments in these words : “Everywhere there were huge noises of “Kill Muslims”. Whole atmosphere was singing Vande Mataram.” One of the loyal son asks: “WHEN THAT DAY WILL COME WHEN WE WILL DEMOLISH MOSQUES AND REPLACE THEM WITH TEMPLES OF RADHA AND MAHADEV”. (this is to be noted that Ex Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s first poem too had the same theme of demolishing mosques and replacing them with temples).
    Coincidences of the History:
Dr. K.B. Hedgewar, a Nagpoori, studies his medicine in Bengal from where he inherits this philosophy of hatred against the Muslims. Bankhim had culminated this novel on loyalty to British merely to scape from any wrath against him and , at the same time, he wanted to take the English rulers in confidence, but Hedgewar inherited the main message of the novel and brought the spark of Vande Mataram and establishes RSS in 1925. By then Vande Matarm had almost died but he revived it thrugou the formation of RSS. Nizam state comprising of Andhra, Telangana, Karnataka and Maharashtra was most peaceful state on earth. In 1937, RSS workers along with Arya Samaj and Hindu Maha Sabha brought the seeds of hatred to Hyderabad too and some students demanded to sing Vande Mataram in Osmania University. This sparked many riots inside and outside of Hyderabad. Many Muslim localities were burnt. In retaliation, Nawab Bahadur Yar Jung and Qasim Rizvi established their own “Raza Kaar” organization to combat with fanatic Hindus. This was the beginning of terrorism in South. As far as North is concerned, Sardar patel, Dr. Rajender Prasad and Justice Kapoor who acquitted RSS in Mahatma Gandhi’s assassination case were the main stalwarts of RSS. Qaid-e-Azam Mohammed Ali Jinah was lenient on Vande Mataram until he was in Congress. Later when he realized the hatred hidden in this song, he changed his stand. In an argument in the then parliament Sardar Patel was slapped by Abdul Rab Nashtar in the session on this issue. Since then this song had become a thorn between Hindus and Muslims. Had Dr. Rajender Prashad not been the head of the committee on selection of National anthem, this song would have never been selected as National Anthem. Knowing the poison hidden in the song, the committee decided to keep only first two stanzas in the Anthem. It was a very clever act as it was understood that only two stanzas too will serve the purpose to convey the message. Sangh parivar had always been trying to impose the song to keep their own identity alive in India but not only Muslims but Sikhs, Christians, Aryan Hindues as well as communists opposed it.
In short, if India wants to curb the terrorism, it has to curb this song first and give a clear message to all terrorist minded parties that there is no ground to spread provocative slogans or songs based on religion in India. Thanks to all secular, educated and civilised Hindus who are in majority. Just imagine, if all Hindus had become communal, the minorities would have been vanished from this country but still the majority of Hindu community realises that this song is a communal song, teaches hatred therefore, they keep away from this song. Consequently, the minorities, particularly the Muslims, are still safe in this country.
  11. Koti koti kantha kalakalaninaada karaale stunning voice of 30 crore fighters
koti koti bhujai.rdhR^itakharakaravaale 60 crore swords in both hands
abalaa keno maa eto bale Is our mother still weak even after having such force?
bahubaladhaariNiiM namaami taariNiiM o my mother of strong hands, I kiss your feet
ripudalavaariNiiM maataraM || you are the destroyer of enemy’s army o my mother
The advocates of this song must explain here who are 30 crore? Who is enemy? Against whom this call of war is given? If it were a song for freedom fight against English, then the population of India was not 30 crore. (NOTE: Koti koti means “many lakhs or many millions. But it is translated as 30 crores or 30 million in various translations because Bhawananda explains this himself in his speech after singing the verse)
To understand the background, one has to go through the story of “Anand Mat” briefly.
In 1772 when there was a Muslim rule in Bengal, a group of Nexalite type Hindus stood against the Muslim rule and formed a movement called “Bande Mataram”. The goal was to replace the Muslim king with a Hindu rule. The movement grew up in Poornia, Danapoor and Tarhat areas. The Safron color mobs used to go to villages, give the slogan of “Bande Mataram” and recruit the Hindu youths to riot in the Muslim areas. They used all kinds of available arsenal to attack, looting and killings. This bloodshed continued until 1774 when East India company got power in Bengal. The group had first thought that the English will be a help for them to cut Muslims in to pieces but East India Company was playing its own game. The Company used the terrorist gang against the Muslim ruler, and then wiped out the gang too who was dreaming of Hindu Raj in alliance with English. Many were punished rigorously by the English and the movement died with its leaders. Bankhim Chatterji revived the slogan and incarnated it in a poem in his novel “Anand Mat”. Chatterji was undoubtedly an adept writer. His pen earned popularity as it’s ink spread poison against Muslims. Although he wrote several novels, fictions and articles but the novel “Anand Mat’s” popularity was not comparable to any other writing as this novel was deeply communal against Muslims. The poem’s verses are written in different chapters related to the situation. It is a semi historical novel. The writer had good control over dramatizing the history and giving the message here and there between the lines. The ultimate goal was to tell upper caste Hindus that their existence with Muslims is not acceptable to the Dharma. Very cleverly he put every effort to project Muslims as the enemy of this land while the land is a mother Goddess.
The strange factor is that Bankhim Chatterji’s education up to graduation was sponsored by a Muslim Trust called “Haji Mohsin Education Trust”. The unthankful attitude of Chatterji is shameful. The hero of the novel is Bhawananda, a fundamentalist High caste Brahmin Sanyasi who recruits youths for his mission. He meets a person called Mahendra. Mahendra’s mother and sister were once rescued by Bhawananda from decoits. Mahendra gets impressed from Bhawananda and slowly gets attracted in his song of Vande Mataram. Bhawananda sings the song for Mahendra again and again, and explains the verses and shows how important it is to get rid of the Muslims from Bangal. To invoke the feelings of worship to the motherland he calls the holy land as mother Goddess and says “look, how your mother is bearing tortures at the hands of foreign invaders (Muslims), and asks if it is not selfishness to tolerate the Muslims who are ruling over his mother’s chest. Mahendra does appreciates Bhawanada’s love for his land but gets afraid to join the gang, tries to refrain him from armed violence. Bhawananda burst out with anger and gives a long speech which ends on these dialogues “OUR RELIGION HAS BEEN SPOILED, OUR RACE HAS BEEN DESTROYED AND OUR LIVES ARE UNSAFE. UNLESS YOU WILL NOT KICK OUT MUSLIMS FROM OUR LAND NEITHER YOUR RELIGION IS SAFE NOR YOU CAN REMAIN IN YOUR RELIGION”. Mahendra asks how could Bhawananda fight single handedly. Here Bhawananda replies by singing the 2nd verse which says “when 30 crore voices will roar, 60 crore swords will be in their both hands, can our mother be weak even after such strength?” Mahendra is still not satisfied. He mentions that Muslim’s backlash will be far stronger. Bhawananda replies “YOUR IDLENESS IS THEIR STRENGTH. THE ENGLISH DO NOT RUN AWAY FROM WAR BUT THE MUSLIMS DO. THEY ARE COWARD; THEY CAN NOT FACE THE DANGER. THEY RUN AWAY EVEN IN A LITTLE SWEAT”. Next morning Bhawananda takes Mahendra to the temple “Anand Mat”.
The Brahmchari Mahant of the temple takes Mahendra inside the dark temple’s room where Vishnu’s idol is shown with a beautiful small idol is kept on the lap of Vishnu. There are some slaughtered heads full of blood stains lying at the feet of Vishnu. Brahmchari asks Mahendra: did you see that female idol in the lap of Vishnu? Mahendra says: yes, but who is she? Brahmchari answers: That is our mother, we are her sons, say “Bande Mataram”.
Brahmchari takes Mahendra in another room where there is another big idol of Jagat Dhari and says “This was the dignity of our mother Bharat Mata before enemies (Muslims) arrived”. Mahendra prostrates . Then the Brahmchari takes him to another room underground where there is an idol of Kali Maata. It is black and naked. He says to Mahendra: “our enemies have brought our mother to this demoralized condition. Laxmi and Saraswati are no more beside her as the enemies have snatched them away”. Mahendra asks ”why is she carrying weapons in her hand?” Brahmchari answers: “We gave these weapons in her hands. She is our mother, we are her sons” and chants loudly“Bande Mataram”.
Mahendra is taken to another room where he meets Durga Devi’s idol. It is beautiful, majestic and divine. Laxmi and Saraswati’s idols too are set on the right and left of Durga Maata. Brahmchari says to Mahendra: “when we sons of Maata will destroy the Muslim enemies, our Maata will come back to this glorious status once again”. He then turns to the idols and sings the 4th verse of the song passionately:
TvaM hi durgaa dashapraharaNadhaariNii You are Durga with ten hands carrying arms
kamalaa kamaladala vihaariNii You are Kamla who lives in Lotus
vaaNii vidyaadaayinii namaami tvaaM you are river of knowledge, accomplisher
Namaami kamalaaM amalaaM atulaaM I am your slave, slave of slaves, slave of slaves of slaves
SujalaaM suphalaaM maataraM || O my mother with clean waters and delicious fruits, I prostrate to you.
Mahendra is completely brainwashed now. He is no more the same Mahendra. His feels heat in his Blood to take oath. He turns to Brahmchari and says “I pledge now Bande Mataram”. Bhawananda is Delighted.
  12. Vande Mataram.Hindu national song or a terrorist’s song ?
Before associating this song with fascist Hindus or even before arguing why it is rejected by the Muslims, it is important to analyze the song in the light of human nature and the history of extremism and terrorism. A call unto religious, linguistic or regional fanaticism is a more powerful weapon to wield power than call towards humanity. It generates the hatred faster and unites the extremist minds with more zeal. Had Hitler not given the call against Jews being a foreign intruders destroying German’s economy, no German would have stood so strongly against the Jews. Had Mustafa Kamal Ataturk not given a call against Arabs who had betrayed Turkey’s centuries old good deeds with them, Turks would not have gone hateful to the extent of banning everything of Arabs even the language which was associated with their religion. Russian revolution against Czar, Iranian revolution against Shah and America, Mandela’s revolution against Whites, Sikh’s revolt under the leadership of Bhindranwala, Tamil Tiger’s years long bloody war against Sinhalese and Bangladesh’s hatred against Pakistan etc would not have yielded results if the same centuries old formula of penetrating hatred on the basis of religion, language, region or color or race, no one can come to power easily. Often Indian TV channels show fake stories of how Taliban, Al Qaeda, Lashkar and Indian Mujahedeen etc are doing all these inhuman tactics against India but they never show how a few Hindu fascist groups are doing to demolish mosques, blast the trains etc. Since most of the sponsors of these propaganda channels belong to the same fascist and communal parties who have been leading the country towards communal hatred ever since and have succeeded to a large extent in exploiting the public sentiments in turning against the Muslims. Unfortunately the common men do not read the history, whatever they watch on television; they take it for granted as an eternal fact. The same militant mentality is still dominating Indian politics which inherited the hatred and demolished churches and staged the drama of attacks on the Parliament, Vishwanath temple, public places and Taj hotel.
Vande Mataram is one of such songs which were written to provoke hatred to sow the seed of hatred between Hindus and Muslims. Although the real meanings of terrorism is yet to be defined, but whatever terrorism is regarded today and affiliated to Muslims is evidently originated from the novel “Anand Mat” written by Bankham chander Chatterji. This song was once upon a time a pledge to join the force against Muslims about 225 years ago, and still today this is the slogan song of all the communal and fascist groups in India. Those who had recommended this song to be included as “National Anthem” they too belonged to these fascist parties. Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru had vast knowledge of the history, he had sensed the poisonous effects of this song, and therefore he had abolished this song from the Indian National congress’s national songs list. He had openly opposed the song in the parliament along with several other Socialist and Communist leaders like Ram Manohar Lohia and M.N. Roy.
Those who take it as a national song without going deep in to the history and background of the song, they are at mistake. The Verses of the song are meaningless unless they are read in the context of the novel’s story. For example, can anyone understand the meaning of this verse without having the knowledge of its background?
  13. Vande matram Hindu national song or terrorist song?
    38.jpg

Vande matram Hindu national song or terrorist song?
When Anna Hazare prostrated on Gandhi Samadhi before starting his fast and raised his head he called thrice "Bande Mataram". This compelled me to study why he chose "Bande Mataram" only, why not "inquilab Zindabad" or something else.
Since the Muslim scholars had long been opposing this song on the basis that it's wordings appear to be SHIRK, but this weak argument never satisfied me. After going thru the novel in which this song consisting of 8 stanzas is written, I came to the conclusion that this song is an open challenge to the country who claims to have pledged to fight against terrorism.
The article is lengthy but a must read for those who want to know how the hatred between the Hindus and Muslims was penetrated in the minds, what philosphy was working behind the formation of Shuddhi Movment, Arya Samaj, Hindu Maha Sabha and RSS and all their successors who are still leaving no stone unturned to flame the hatred and spoil the peace of this country. Going deep in to this song and it's background one can understand easily how and why hundreds of Muslims are killed by the Hindu terrorist groups, how the police and army and even judiciary sometimes help the killers to escape unchecked. This song and the novel unveils the real intensions behind various blasts take place in the country and blame goes on the Muslims.
  14. only an idiot would accept such evidence of this video made in 2012. tomorrow you would make video as if it was recorded inside vatican and start randi rona that a Gurdwara Sistine sahib existed where the St Peter's church now stands. yes fanatic extremists, neo-auragzebs like you would one day pull down shani mandir too to prove some petty point of yours. i would not be surprised if the badal govt looks the other way. but if fair system is to prevail then murtis should be brought back to the hari's mandir.

Only an idiot would believe in the existence of 7 headed snake and a man sitting on it under the sea.

  15. Here is a friend of Bhindranwale, who was inside during those days. Admits that the Atwal killing was the biggest mistake should not have been done.

However, it was your mistake and you paid for it with the entire wiping out of the movement. And to think you may have had a separate country if you made better decisions. And to top it all off we have to ask Bhindranwale for Atwals body?

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RITRuvne2ZI&list=UUeiRdb5QKNbNKUXD9aSe8dw

Here is a story from the Mahabharat that sums it up perfectly.

One of the greatest and most pious kings of his time Raja Paraksit goes out hunting. During the hunt he gets lost, tired and hungry. He comes upon the hut of a sage named Samika who is inside in deep meditation. Raja Parakshit in a rare act of adharma hollers to him and demands water, and that he is the king of the whole land. The sage does not wake up from his meditation. In anger, Paraksit takes a dead snake and wraps it around the neck of the sage and leaves.

The son of the sage arrives afterwards and is enraged due to the disrespect shown to his father. He uses his vardhan to curse Raja Parakshit to die within 7 days.

The sage wakes up and learns what happens and is enraged by his sons action. Calls him a ``moorkh`` and says `` you prove why people with kacche buddhi should never be given power.``

Keep your Mahabharta to your self and we knows about your people buddhi, bloody killers that what you people are . People say ISIS is very cruel but people have not seen what your kind has done .

  16. what is the bloody truth?!! there is no evidence that a Gurdwara ever existed at har Ki pauri still randi rona brigade is wailing injustice. if one gudrwara was demolished in haridwar (which is a small town) in 1984 how come 4 other gurdwaras were not even touched?

on the other hand, there is strong evidence of idol worship in HariMANDIR yet the denial squad is not even ready to consider handing over harimandir to the rightful owners - sanatani Hindus.

if the idols were on the parkarma (so were the Hindu mythological paintings till 1984), ok, let there be a Hindu temple in the parkarma at least. you are yourself admitting the existence of the Hindu temple/s in harmndir sahib yet want to do nothing about it on the other hand your are wailing out loud for a building which probably never existed or was too small to notice.

Video is already prove that Gurdwara existed and it was historical Gurdwara and your Hindu Murtis have no history they were put their by British and Udasi . If Gurdwara not allowed to be built then Shani mandir in front of Darbar sahib should also be shut down and its idol should be taken to Durgiana Mandar .

  17. Seriously, if the agitating Sikh orgs have any documents which prove that there was a gurdwara (old revenue records, building ownership papers, rent lease, ANYTHING!) at Har Ki Pauri, they can go to the court. there are 1000s of such cases where buildings have been restored to the original owners.

in my opinion, there an enterprising sadh (udasi or some other sect) may have done parkash of Guru Granth sahib at some stage in the past 50 years or so in a small room/shop near Har ki Pauri. He or his followers may have decided to 'close business' due to the lack of sikhs visiting (highly probable as sikhs have stopped visiting Hindu pilgrimage centres after 1980s crisis) Haridwar.

if there is no evidence of any such ownership, Akal Takht should intervene and stop this outrageously dishonest campaign to malign Hindus.

Then why Hindus destroy Babri masjid

  18. I wouldnt wish these Panjabi Hindus on anyone. That would be just too cruel to those people.

Well said Chatanga veer these people are curse for everyone , In Punjab thery create problem for Sikhs , In Haryana they create problem for their own Hindu jaat and In Delhi they create problem for UP and Bihar waalas . When they don find anyone then they with each other on the name that we Khatris are superior then Aroras and Pandits . God known what they want . In last 10 yrs many of these have moved to Gurgaon and Noida so except more trouble too.
