totally agree with DTF.

- These days there are lot of fake Sants. In reality they are NOT Sant. They are ruining the name of true Sants also because normal people will think that all Sants are of this nature.

- There are some people who are allergic to this word: "Sant". They will give examples of fake Sants and say bad about the true Sants which is NOT a good practice. Saying that "ALL Sants being the same (comparing fake with real)" is NOT true.

- Ram Rahim is FAKE and we all know it.

- I've heard some deewans of Sant Ranjit Singh Ji's deewans and I don't see any thing against the Gurmat. I don't think he should be compared to Ram Rahim. He is simply trying to preach the message of Gurmat/Sikh/Khalsa (pure).

Anurag Granth is the discussion between Bhagat Kabir and his devotee (Dharam Das).

For sangat's information: The publication of this Teeka of Japji Sahib (By Sant Gurbachan Singh Ji) has been stopped. Now, you can get it from any shop if they have a old copy. NO new copies are going to be published.

from where I can get the Tikka.......I understand that from Takshal....but could you please get me the address OR if the Tikka is available from Edmonton (Canada) or any other online website?

I personally think that Guru Nanak Dev Ji is the Saviour of kalyug as described in Guru Granth Sahib Ji.

But at the same time I believe that the Kalki Avatar will also come to this earth AT THE END OF KALYUG (roughly after 427,000 years from now).......by that time definatly very few will follow any religion, even now we we think there is a BIG difference in this mind set as compared with the Sikhs during Guru Ji time......it is kalyug's effect.

Both Guru Nanak Dev Ji and Kalki Avatar has different motives and they are NOT comparable. We cannot say that Kalki Avatar cannot come or its past thing or Hindu agenda because Guru Nanak Dev is the saviour of kalyug. I am NOT saying that Kalki avatar will come because Guru Nanak Dev was not able to complete HIS motive. Guru Nanak Dev Ji opened the secret of achieving GOD/WAHEGURU AS PER kalyug's time and this secret is for everyone either good or bad. The secret is: Naam, Dan, Ishnan.

Any of our 10 Gurus have NOT killed persons at world level just because they were bad and not following religion. Killing of some bad persons is a different thing as compared to killing EVERY bad person. It is NOT that Guru Ji couldn't do it, it is just that it was NOT the hukam of GOD at that time.

But Kalki Avatar is supposed to kill EVERY bad person (at the end of kalyug). So, there is a difference between "Construction Engineer" and "Waste Disposal Engineer". Both are engineers but their jobs are different. Same way Avatars are coming under the hukam of WAHEGURU/GOD, but their motives are different at different times. In any case, I am not concerned if Kalki avatar is coming or not, it's just always curiosity about the future happenings either avatars, weather, personal lifes etc.

Points which made up my this thinking:

** Guru Nanak Dev Ji is the Saviour of kalyug as defined in "Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji".

** The timing of Kalki Avatar is explained in "Dasam Granth Sahib".

** In Sant Baba Isher Singh Ji's deewan it is mentioned that during the first 10,000 years of kalyug there will be great bhagti influence.

** In Sant Baba Isher Singh Ji's deewan it is mentioned that after 10,000 years of kalyug, all the devtas that are providing pavitarta to bad people (e.g Ganga, Yamuna etc. and other tiraths) will ran away from the earth. It means that tiraths are NOT the saviours of a person in kalyug. It is NAAM which can save us.

** Kalki Avatar is predicted in "Vishnu Purana".

** In suleman conversation with Sant Baba Isher Singh Ji (written transcript), Suleman referred to a ghost with age of 4 yugs and told that he will be liberated at the end of kalyug by either a Sant OR Kalki Avatar. Suleman told this when "Sant Baba Isher Singh Ji" asked him the question: "When the ghost with 4 yug age be freed from pret jooni"......secondly, here Sant Baba Isher Singh Ji has NOT asked this question to know its answer. He asked it so that we (normal people) can know of it. Always, Mahapurash/Sant gives only hints of secrets and future happening.

I would like to add the following information regarding the importance of Turban in Christianty as follows:

Once they enter the gates of the court, they are to wear linen vestments, They shall wear linen turban, and linen drawers on their loins." (Old Testament: Ezekiel 44:18-19)

Put on the turban as the Lord has commanded Moses: One of the commands of God to Moses was to wear turban as the symbol of prophet hood, holiness and divine power. This was a command obeyed by the Jews and the Muslims for centuries and ignored or forgotten by the Christians.

"They made the tunic of fine lines, woven work for Aaron and his sons, the turban of fine linen, the tall head dress and their bands all of fine linen, the drawers of finely woven linen, the sash of woven linen, as the Lord had commanded Moses." (Exodus 39,27)

They made a rosette of pure gold as the symbol of their holy dedication and inscribed on it as the engraving on a seal, "Holy to the Lord"; and they fastened it on a violet brand to fix it on the turban at the top as the Lord had commanded Moses. (Exodus 39-31)

Set the turban on his head and the symbol of holy dedication on the turban. Take the anointing oil, pour it on his head and anoint him. (Exodus 29-6)

"When God takes away the turban," says Prophet Isaiah, "he takes away the dignity of man."

Well said Maha Kharag Singh. I do NOT know what is the verdit of Sikhism on "assisted suicide" but still I want to share.

"Suicide" (killing the physical body by ourself) is a great crime in Sikhism. "Suicide" is the greatest sin on this earth.

"Assisted Suicide": Helping someone to die (because of some reasons: another person is in coma, his/her incapacity to do anything etc. etc.) is the thing that confused me a lot.

But my personal thinking is that: Another person whom we are assiting to die may or may not get punishment (it a kind of suicide for that person), but the person who is assisting will also get punishment depending upon his/her mind set during assisted suicide.....but again we are helping someone to commit a greatest sin on this earth.

On another note: Let's say there is some big insect (e.g keera) who came under my feet by mistake and I crushed to the extend that he is disabled or crying with pain..........then in most cases I will kill him by saying "WAHEGURU".................actually this happened lot many times........now, let me clear what I was thinking at that time......

- I said "WAHEGURU" NOT to liberate the insect. I don't have the capacity to liberte someone. ONLY those can liberate who are libertated themselves.

- I said "WAHEGURU" so that the dying insect can hear it and it might help him in Dharamraj court or in the next birth because he heard GOD's name; and at the same time to ask for forgiveness from GOD because I am killing some being intentionally.

- I will get punishment (bad karam) because I killed somebeing intentionally, but at the same time I feel comfortable that even though I will get punishment; the dying being will at-least proceed to his next scheduled birth in next scheduled jooni.

It is a kind of thing where purbale karam will be combined with udham in his current birth in order to get a result and this result will again become purbale karam in the next birth.

so, on the whole I am still not sure whether "assisted suicide" is valid in Sikhism or not.

Will be tape be available if someone goes to Hapur branch (in their library)OR main Gurdwara Sahib in Rara Sahib? Is it something that we can get from library OR we need to request Sant Je there??

Actually my parents are coming from India this month and if available then they can get me one.

I don't know about the UK bibia cured after taking Amrit........but it is possible.......ghost/bad spirits are afraid of sat-sangat etc.....and having Amrit means a great deal.
