  1. Radha Soami mat was started by Shiv Dayal in Agra. The Beas is a totally different sect started by a Sikh called Jaimal Singh.

Jaimal borrowed his ideas from Guru Granth Sahib and preached Radha Soami Mat also called Sant Mat.

He taught people to meditate at third eye and follow the light that sprouts infront. He said the inner sound (dhuni) will guide you to Nij Ghar.

His followers thought he was a Sikh and built him a Gurdwara but later on he removed Guru Granth Sahib and made his own Dera on the bank of Beas river.

  2. Is it true the AKJ have their own Amrit Naam. In my Amrit Sanchar the Panj said repeat Waheguru.

In their Amrit Sanchar it's like: WAAAAAAAAHEGURRRROOOOOOOOO and they put their hands on your head and rotate. If the person responds well they say the NAAM is planted or something.

  3. When you fill in a form in the UK you are asked whether you're an Indian or Pakistani. Where is Sikh on it? The only Sikh they know is SEEKH. And you have missed what i was talking about.

We Sikhs are neither Indian or Pakistani because we never chose either. Yes there is a huge Khoja and Ismaili community in London, no wonder London is so messed up LOL

  4. Damdami Taksal do pronouce ALL letters, vowels including sihari and bihari etc believe it or not.

e.g Maahu they pronouce the U very slighty. Whilst most others just read it like Maah straight forward.

Eihu most will say just say Eih again the U needs to be pronouced slighty. Naey in Japji this whole word should be pronouced strongly.

Bhai Sahib Randhir Singh Ji wrote his own view of pronoucing Gurbani. This is followed by the AKJ. But Jatha here is irrelevant the Taksal is a SCHOOL for pronoucing Gurbani. Sant Gurbachan Singh Ji Khalsa made countless shudh akhand paathis. Not only Damdami Taksal agrees with this but many other Taksals from Damdama tradition.

  5. I went to Gurdwara Nanaksar the main one in Jagraon and there is still alot of confusion about this. Most of the Sangat there was saying it is Baba Kundan Singh Ji.

Here in U.K some Sangat saying it is Baba Gurdev Singh Ji. And on the internet i found out alot of Sangat also believes in Baba Sadhu Singh ji.

These were all former sewadars of the mighty sage of Nanaksar Sant Baba Isher Singh Ji. But i also read this (needs some clarifying):

One day Sant Baba Ishar Singh Jee was at Jhoraran. There was Bhai Bawa Singh Jee, Jathedar Mukhtiar Singh Jee, Gurdev Jee and couple of other people in the room. Suddenly Baba Jee said, Bawa let us give you something today. Or you all will say that I gave you nothing and told you nothing. Every one was surprised. Bhai Bawa Singh Jee started laughing thinking it is a joke. Sant Baba Ishar Singh Jee again said, let us do the formal Rasam (ceremony) or else you will doubt it in the future. Baba Jee asked Bawa to bring a Dastar (turban), Kesar, Mishree, Narial (Coconut) and sweets for distribution. Bawa Singh Jee went inside and brought every thing as per Baba Jee’s instructions. Baba Jee then asked Gurdev Jee who was sitting quietly, by calling him as Thakur Jee, to come close and spread your Chola. Gurdev Jee obeyed and Baba Jee poured every thing in his lap. Baba Jee then dissolved the Kesar and gave a Tilak on Gurdev Jee’s forehead and called him “Thakur Jee, Thakur Jee†2-3 times. Thus Master changed the Sewak in to Thakur, and Sewak was in tears, full of appreciation and love for the Master. Baba Jee then ordered Gurdev Jee to tie the Dastar on his head and asked every one to bow to him. Thus Baba Jee transformed his most capable Sewak to Thakur Jee.
