stuped store shop guy, why they cant getting it the sahiwale milk? i am thinking that you should talk to pind people from punjab and they starting it the compny for export the beautiful sahiwal milk
-
yeah i agree that the seena baseena tradition of santhiya, and other beerhs based off it should ensure that everything remained the same. However, aren't there slight differences even between puratan saroops?
-
Anyone got a photo from the Damdami Bir or know how the Dohra is in there? Anand_mangal - is that the one you saw with Guru Sahib's signature?
I'm guessing that is the same as what we have today - would Guru Sahib have dictated "Mahala 10"? Look forward to your research, Kam.
I was under the impression that Maharaj's Damdami Bir was "lost"?
-
sounds good then
-
haha i figured it had more to do than just the sharpness, but everyone was talking about the lack of an edge, so i thought I'd throw that out. my personal sri sahib, the one i wear everywhere is a puratan khanjar
blade is definitely puratan, wootz, ivory and bull horn pieces on handle might be newer, mian is definitely new. pretty piece still feels a bit hefty though, not as light as I've been told, and you've mentioned, puratan shastar are meant to be
-
I've got some pretty sharp taksali kirpans...
-
Boxing training is awesome for getting into shape, also knowing how to throw a punch correctly is very useful.
Ladli-fauj, if there is no SV in your area, just do something like Muay Thai and BJJ. If in the US/Canada then even school wrestling is great.
satt aa, i do plan on beginning training at AKA, american kickboxing association. their main gym isnt too far from where i live, and theyve produced some well known fighters, so yah, maharaj kirpa karn and ill start that asap.
check their site out: akakickbox.com/
btw its Laadli Fauj didnt want to be a butt and trip over it, but theres someone else on youtube and sikhsangat n whatnot who is ladli-fauj, so yeah, gotta differentiate

so if one is unable for any number of reasons to learn shastarvidiya from nidar singh in the UK, what other ustads, or other martial arts would you recommend? how can one avoid the goha and recognize legit art if one has little background in this sorta thing?
-
i heard the oriental-arms guy is overpriced a lot of the time. pretty shastar still
-
thanks

waheguru
thanks bhaji

can you please share that shabad?
and what exactly is meant by gupt? like how will it do that?
-
what's the significance of 108? not doubting it or anything like that, just wondering where it comes from and stuff
-
yeah mithar, it's him
-
if you're actively listening or reciting with the recording, then i think it's ok. but if you dont even remember what paath u did, waht bani you're on, or having done paath at all, then its definitely not good
i often listen to nitnem recordings in the morning whil i'm getting ready for school, but i a make it a point to recite out loud with it
in the budda dal rehit maryada as published in the khalsa sundar gutka, and i believe in other rehit maryadas as well, about nitnem it says "parhe yaa sunhe". so yeah, just make sure you're actually sunh-ing it

attain brahmgian.

yeah, Y is harmanjit singh mann from Malton, Toronto
Khalsa Fauj on the forums
isn't there that shabad tho, nishane sikhi ee? karha kachh karhdo kangha kripaan, etc
i might be getting it wrong, but i'm sure you guys know which one im talking about. it's apparently not in most modern chhaape of sri dasam granth sahib, but is in many puratan ones. i think the Hajoori taksal chhape of Sri Dasam granth sahib ji also includes it. if you know anymore, please share
-
im pretty sure sarbatdapala is a bhainji
-
-
there's a Sri Dasam Granth program at smethwick in UK on the 24th. not sure if they have an amrit sanchar planned, but if someone mentions it to the organizers, they might be able to
Harianbelan always has amrit sanchaars on the massia jorh melas which should be a week or so after vaisakhi (im guessing, ull want to double check for the exact date), and im sure near/on vaisakhi as well.

only 5 bhrava, dal singh never said he agrees with the notion that skin tone denotes social status/hierarchy. he merely stated that the fact that the guy in the vid made a comment regarding the skin tone, in a seemingly demeaning manner, made it seem that the guy thought that darker skin was a bad thing. dal singh obviously doesnt believe that himself. way to ruin a thread.
