  1. Hari:

    1. Please could you state who has a problem with the Devi?

    2. Why you do reduce Akal to a goddess in your statement "various epithets for the One Goddess Akal". For avoidance of doubt, please could you clarify this statement.

    3. General: Please also read the works of Madanjit Kaur in which she amply addresses the Devi Myth and how it arose and how it gain momentum within the Khalsa of the 18th century.

    Answers:

    1. It's usually men who have a problem with Devi (Divine Feminine)

    2. Akal is everything. So therefore It is Goddess and God.And neither God nor Goddess.Remeber there is only the One, no other. If you think that Devi (Divine Feminine) or you are seperate from Akal then you are mistaken.

    3. Ok, I will read the works of Madanjit Kaur.

  2. About the golak thing: Placing money infront of your Satguru and then bowing is beizzati of your Satguru. You are treating your Satguru as a beggar, then you bow to money.Think about it, the money box is infront of the Satguru.Infront.You put money in it, then you bow down. That is very bad.You should not offer money to your Satguru. Why don't you people realise this.Do you think this is what Satguru Nanak Sikh did when they met Him?They must have placed money infront of Nanak Satguru, right?Hello, anybody there??I refer you to:

  3. Bhai Sukha singh in Gur Bilas Padshahi 10 writes in Ch 10 and 16 that Guru Gobind Singh used to consume various types of intoxicants himself and gave these to others also: (these included hemp and liquor)

This is what the nihangs do drink liquor and hemp.

    Is this right?

Can you please post exactly what is said in Gurmukhi by Bhai Sukha Singh regarding Guru Gobind Singh consuming alcohol and cannabis. Not just post on a forum that this book says this about this Guru etc. etc.Thank you.

  4. Hari, I respect your opinion. Please elaborate more? There are Hindu Mythological Gods as Bhai Gurdas Ji says http://www.sikhitothemax.com/Page.asp?Sour...06&Format=2

That Var of Bhai Gurdas Ji does not mention "Hindu" gods. There is the line which goes:

"Das avatar akar kar, purkharth kar nanv gunae."

Which has been translated erroneously into English as:

"The ten incarnations (of Hindu mythology) assumed human body and showed their valour to spread their names."

In that Var Bhai Gurdas Ji does no mention of "Hindu" or "Hindu gods".It is only the English translation which states in brackets "(of Hindu mythology)".Why did the translator feel the need to express that that particular line was on about the Das Avatar of "Hindu mythology"?

Have you ever come across the Gurmukhi phrase or concept "Hindu Devi/Devte" in Gurbani or Bhai Gurdas Vars?Do the Satguru or Bhai Gurdas express in any way that the Devi Devte like Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh, Parbati Mai, Indra etc. are Hindu?

The Brilliant Ones are not Hindu. They are Gursikh, Sikh of Param Satta.

  5. i have seen many times in TV that the pastors during their crusades touch people or blow onto people faces and people get unconscious and fall down ? is it real or is it just another one of their propaganda to promote christianity ?

what are your views ? [/font:4b82dad919]

Highly emotional crowd situations, cause people to become hysterical.Like someone said above, it's mass hysteria and crowd control. You just need to be someone who has a charimatic personality and take charge of a highly suggestible crowd and they are putty in your hands.

    Where's Rasputin the naughty monkey?

  6. Hari, i suppose you have reached the level of avastha where you can tell whether or not someone is a sant or has huge kamai.

If you have then I apologise, but if you havent youarent really qualified to judge

Yes my dear, it's called common sense avastha.Everyone should have one.Carry on my dears.

  7. I got nothing against Bhai Sahib Ranjit Singh. But why do "Sikh" confuse personality and charisma with being a Sant? Why do "Sikh" confuse a good (or bad) katha-kar as being a Sant?

Sikhs are thick.Simple as that.People can't be bothered to study and rely on what others have to say, ergo Sikhs are slaves to modern day "Sant Baba's".When are you lot going to study? You are Shishya after all...

  8. actually i got that from another forum...u can guess which 1...lol

Yes, sorry.I didn't mean to say that you wrote it ofcourse. But have heart, the Satguru weren't lecherous. That is probably what comes into those people who can't come to believe that the Satguru had more than one wife. They who think like that are the lecherous one.

They who see dirt where there is no dirt, are the ones who are dirty.

  9. There is only One Guru.Only One Identity (Naam).I reccomend reading Yoga Vasishta. It is the the dialogue between Shri Ram Chandra and His Guru Maharishi Vasishta Ji.

The Guru is Nirmal Chit.It is there "behind" your idiot changing self. That self which is only there for a few hours of the day and then dies into deep sleep.

  10. Hari you're wrong. You should not keep weapons on your person full stop.

What you wrote about the 3-inches law is not true, as I mentioned earlier. It's not a question of inches. Stop making stuff up.

According to the Criminal Justice Act 1988 you can carry a knife with blade length of 3 inches aslong as it can be folded. No fixed blades.Even then you need a good reason.Don't get your knickers in a twist darling.

Is a Kirpan a religious article or a knife??
