  1. man.. i've had friends who act exactly the way that the thread started talks about.. it's true whtehr peopel wanna believe it or not... and yes, i tried exposing them to sikhi.. what i got was backstabbing, insults and essentially the "Defamation of character" type of feeling at school.... these people are almost what they are by choice bambookat.. it's not always about elders... it really rarely is.. however, the people i'm talking about having met personally do have parents who work two jobs nearly every day just in order to make things happen.... yet the whole black culture is so prevalent.. don't get me wrong.. they listen to bhangra.... so they're "brown"... but the definition of what khalistaniak47 said was right... it's sad that everyone just wants to be black....

  2. aww.. ni love happy endings...

    the end :D

Mod's Note: This is your first freindly warning. Stop screwing up the site alingment and waste bandwidth with long lines of this ________. I have edited your post not once but six times now. There is a limit to every thing.

  3. and also..lallesh.. you were talking about ignorance being the devil, basically..

but are you not showing ignorance by showing no acceptance for the devotion and priorities that those "AKJ kids" show?? or are you going to tell us that "Those AKJ Kids" are all forced to love their Guru?

i ain't akj.. i don't agree with everything they do.. but get past the Hating stage and start spreading Guru's word.. you show so muich knowledge, and you misuse it here... grow up bro, emotionally, i mean..... for as long as i remember, you've done an excellent job spreading hate, and a futile job (maybe due to a lack of attempt) to demonstrate proper love for your proper sikhs...

guess what... you're actually NO authority to say who's a sikh or not, so why don't you just sit down, and accept Guru's Hukam as to who's sikh or not.. "Those AKJ Kids" are sikhs whether you wanna cry about it or not, so start showing some love brother...

this is for all of us... i take it out on lallesh because he's the one who said it last.. but freaking hell man, it's time we all start prioritizing... what the blood is TRULY important? superiority or understanding...

i know these attempts are futile, and i'm not even gonna bother responding to lalleshvaris or narsingha's or jtsingh's or sukhi_v's or jassa's or amandeepm's anyone elses comments......... it's not an arguement, it's just a benti man... if we had more love for each other..... man.. how does it not make people close to tears when we step back and look at how LITTLE love we have for one another... how much progress we've missed out on because so many of us insist that we're better than the next...

    just think about it...please...

  4. HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA

  5. Best thing is to have a good hot shower and then turn to ice cold water straight away vwithout transition. Very good for your health apaprently!

hanji, i've heard this too.. a couple doctors have told me that the best way to get rid of asthma is to use that practise for a couple months everytime you take a shower.. and it's supposedly supposed to do crazy things to help relieve asthma...

  6. Narsingha Veer: i'm not educated on this matter at all, so don't take this as a sarcastic question, but just trying to clarify one thing..

is it possible that in Dasam Granth, Guru Gobind Singh Ji's mocking of those who don't drink liquor but enjoy women.. could that not be simply metaphorical for if you're not going to be pure, then don't be pure at all?

like.. if youre gonna tatoo your body, pierce it and all, then don't pretend like you're the greatest Gursikh inside the Darbar Hall, type of metaphor? thanks

  7. i suppose.. i'm thinking... i donno.. but the way CJ put it is pretty right.. if you know the religion you're leaving like the back of your hand, and you're convinced that That religion isn't going to get you anywhere in your life....but if you haven't mastered and understood your own religion, it's kinda... i kinda feel like it's the rest of our duty to make sure that person understands what he or she is leaving...before making that fateful decision.

  8. sukhi... it's not that religions outside of sikhi are bad.. but, honestly.. there's so much truth in sikhi... that's what i'm assuming that truth_Seeker means... like.. there's nothing that has yet to be scientifically disputed... not even evolution or the creation of the world.. Sukhmani Sahib talks about both of these one place or another...

by negative direction, he probably means to leave sikhi.. it's so easy to be a sikh man.. why leave this religion? as brothers and sisters, should we not warn these people of everything they're leaving before they do leave?

  9. yeah, but jahan ji, we aren't Jesus. We aren't Mohammad.. We aren't Nanak... we're Jahan.. we're jsb.. we're guv...whatever... it's not by CHANCE that we're born into a family with whatever values... for those of us born into religious families, are you saying that God didn't INTEND on us to be born into these families? born with these values surrounding us?
