  1. Narsingha Apologies, for I cannot supply any documented reference; what I know was orally narrated upon my visit to DamDama Sahib. Coincidently, I (and my family) met Baba Santa Singh there (April 1998). If wasn’t such a great institution, I doubt Baba Santa Singh (and MANY Nihang Singhs) would have been staying there. What do you think? Maybe if you ask Nidar Singh to relay the question on to Baba santa singh, babaji maybe able to provide answers to whether DamDami Taksal is/was great and about the well that was dug up... Khalsa Fateh
  2. Khalsa Fateh Sorry, I’m no expert, nor I can I answer your question, but I’d like to make a point with regards to Baba Deep Singh Ji not being based there; there is historical evidence to show that Babaji Actually resided there: Back in Baba Deep Singh Ji’s era, there was little fresh water around. Hence Baba Deep Singh Ji proceeded with the digging of a well to provide fresh water. This well is still visible today, it’s situated near the front gate. FYI, there are also other relics; a mirror of Guru Gobind Singh Ji – the very one used by 10th master to tie his Dastaar. Also, there is a small building dedicated to Baba Deep Singh Ji, depicting Babaji's life in pictorial format (not sure of the age of this however).
  3. my friend, aspirins are no good for you, take some Paracetmol instead once you're eyes stop rolling, may be you'll be well enough to answer the question
  4. lalleshvari and narsingha, I asked a couple of questions. do you mind responding? or or you too busy rolling your eyes
  5. Khalsa Fateh Lalleshvari, In Himachal Pradesh, you may have heard of a Gurdwara, Baba Dera Sahib. It is the Gurdwara of Baba Vadbhag Singh Ji. History: Baba Vadbhag Singh Ji was a Great chela/warrior of Guru Gobind Singh Ji (having chucked amrit from the 10th master himself and fought bravely in many battles). Once while resting under a tree, the King of Demons approached him. Not knowing that the BabaJi was highly blessed, the demon was caught. Babaji agreed to release the demon, under the condition that the demon performs seva. It was agreed, and the demon is known as Baba Nahr Sahib Ji. From this day, this gurudwara has become a location where sangat comes to be cured of demonic possessions. Gurdwara When reaching this gurudwara, first thing you’ll notice is some strange behaviour of members of the sangat, ie. some serious head rolling, 360degrees, hair open, continuously. These people are possessed by spirits. There is queue to pass under a small water fall – its reputed that this water flows from the mouth of Baba Nahr Sahib. People who are possessed pass through, and are tapped with a steel bar. Sometimes they faint – the spirits are now exercised. They say that the exercised spirits reside at the top of the mountain… However, sometimes, the spirit is a ‘heavyweight’, and is not easily removed. Then the possessed person progresses to the tree where babaji sat (manji sahib, i think). The head rolling continues…and continues….I don’t know how these people are cured, but I do know that a mahapush has the capability to do so. You may read more about it: http://www.tribuneindia.com/1999/99jan16/s...day/head6.htm#1 If anyone doesnt believe in ghosts/spirits, I suggest you visit this Gurdwara. Its no hoax, that's for sure
  6. Lalleshvari Takes decisions?? Hmmm, then theses decisions are not enforced very well are they?: I read on your post on another thread: Does this mean that Amrit administerd at Hazoor sahib is also invalid? Narsingha Irrelevant. My point is that Akali Nihangs singhs form part of the Guru Panth, thus it cannot be stated that “Guru has decided it to be like that.†A question for you now: you state: well, at the original ceremony, there was no Dasam Granth Sahib, nor Sarbloh Granth. Does the mean that, according to Akali Nihang singhs, the amrit there was too invalid?
  7. agreed Wrong, according to narsingha, Akali Nihang Singhs have decided. They only form part of the Guru Panth. Again, i'll let GuruJi decide.
  8. If so, so be it. I'll let GuruJi decide.
  9. dd, A contradiction. "bani guru, guru hai bani" "bani is guru, Guru is bani" Thus, all bani is our Guru
  10.
