  1. Actually, Girls dont get much pressure at all in terms of looks, SIkh guys have to deal with the looking different issue from childhood till forever.

If outsiders werent enough, you have some of our own sikh girls saying they dont want to marry a singh.

So Sikh guys get more pressure than girls, parents dont put pressure on girls cos they think that if their kuri doesnt look like ur typical barbie doll, then she is never gonna get married.

I think, changing ur appearance just to please some guy or girl is wrong as the other person should accept you for what u are, not what they want u to be.

That has become a norm in sikh society. Choosing to remove hair isnt ok, if u cut ur hair then you are not a sikh.

    "Rehat bina na sikh akhave"

    yeah also

rehit pyaree mujhko sikh pyara nahin

  2. well u kno the rehit maryada was made by the top leaders of all the jathebandis including taksal, Sant Gurbachan Singh Ji Khalsa.

And wen Sant Jarnail Singh Ji Bhindrawale's nephew decided to read raag mala in the akal takt, who was it that got him beaten up??

You lot seem to insult the panth with every chance u have, wen at the end of the day, all those singhs that u worship and hope to be like, all stood together to hold the panth together, and instead of really finding out wot they did, u go on wot u have heard from other ppl and make ur own decisions.

The way things are going no wonder the panths falling to pieces coz there are so many singhs who instead of joining together and fighting the real enemy, (the panj chore), we're jus fighting ourselves.

Personally i think that its a blessing that we dnt have Khalistan, i mean if it is meant to happen, then it will. At the moment it isnt, and ppl have to stop blaming India or the Muslims for everything.

If we all agreed on the rehit maryada like those great singhs did at the time of making it, and respected the fact that it says u can practice ur personal sikhi, e.g raag mala, at home, then maybe we wudnt all be arguing on these forums about topics which really aint really gna make a difference.

e.g. is sant jarnail singh ji gna come back?? Wot if he does, how is that gna affect u or ur sikhi???Are u suddenly gna transform into something else??

  3. My gursikh bhanji is aware everything will be fine she has full faith in waheguroo. She is recovering from the damage that was done to her and her parents.

There are many true gursikhs out there but there are also many pakandis(fake)

I just want to remind you all my question was what should be done about such pakandi (fake) gursikhs singhs?

    wjkk,wjkf

I agree totally@pakandi! Well even fakes can become true, all depends on maharajs kirpa.

If uve made the pakhandi aware of how he/she is one, n they dont listen, then uve done as much as u can. Leave it, and if u think he/she is a threat to other singhs/singhnia, u shud let them know

  4. yeah, i swear the singhs dnt know wot it is anymore. The naamdharis and muslims, they have the skill. Its all about pyar at the end of the day.

My sister learns from this raagi, n he always tells her, u cnt learn alaap etc, like by memorising the sounds, u have to jus let ur pyar come out on the spot.

ANd wen somone sings like that, everyone can feel it 2. Gurmat Sangeet is a beautiful thing, its just sad to c that its becoming a lost art
