  1. Dont know about braham gyanis, only a braham gyani knows another braham, but maharaj ji tells us their qualities. Maharaj ji always talks about the sign of a Saint.

This is the distinguishing sign of the Holy Saint, that by meeting with him, one is saved.

The Messenger of Death does not come near him; he never has to die again.

He crosses over the terrifying, poisonous world-ocean.

So weave the garland of the Lord's Glorious Praises into your mind, and all your filth shall be washed away.

  2. just like many other topics, as much as it is discussed, gonna come to no real conclusion cause both parties gonna stick to their guns. I can truthfully say, I dont know the truth, so cant argue on this. Only one who has experienced the truth can talk about the truth, cause its meaningless talking about the sweatness of honey without tasting it.

hope have not offended anyone. All I say is, its all good! Read gurbani and understand it. Enjoy! Be happy!

  3. I have not come across this Baba in any Sikh history books. but I do know couple of his followers who worship him like an idol and also gives the same status as of the Sikh Gurus.

Are you sure that they give them the same status as of the Sikh Guru's or you just assumed that? Have you ever asked them?

  4. Amrit veerji, where did you hear that Bhagwan ji is clean shaven?? That I cannot not believe it to be true, just some sad rumour. I have seen them when they came to England, its a shame I didnt take any pictures of them.

In the above picture, Bhagwan ji is on the left, and baba ji on the right. It was really funny, the sangat was really happy to see baba ji and was putting 'haars' on baba ji. There was this massive 'haar' which they put on both of them, my mom witnessed this.

Just one question, why did Guru Arjan Dev ji send bibi Bhani ji to baba Budha ji for the 'vaar'??

  6. Thanks alot for the link The Admin and I am sorry for starting another thread about the same subject , but that still dont answer my question.

It is obvious what a person might be refering to when he/she says "Singhni", but how did it changed from Kaur to Singhni?? Do you get what I am trying to say here?

Its just what someone brought up in a conversation and was curious to know where it originated from. Just one of those stupid questions one might ask.

So from where I see it, its just punjabified, as in putting a 'ni' infront of anyword to make it feminine.

    Thanks for all your posts.

  7. Sikher, just wondering where you are from? If you are anywhere near the Soho rd , just go to the gurdwara and ask any of the Sewadaars there and they will be able to tell you more about baba puran singh ji. If you live in london, there is a Gurdawara in West London on Martindale Rd and you can ask there.

Regarding the website, there is no info on there. N30 posted some really old pictures of them in some other thread, but cant seem to find them now.

Lets see if he can shed some light here.
