  1. Yea, I got real mad on the part when he touched my dhari. That was what drove me real mad and then after that he tried to put his hand on my jura.. which drove me so crazy that I waned to kill him then and there, I even had my kirpan, but I had full control over it and I knew that it was not the time to use the kirpan and I am glad for it. But I will not tolerate anyone who will try to spoil the Guru Ji type of image (Kesh and Dhari).
  2. Khalsa Soulja, I dont advice u to do that. To be honest ppl have told me that it is much easier to meet Guru ji by getting married to a devout sikh girl who practices simran and she will make u r spiritual life much easier. I wouldnt have left home at all.. if i was living in the city of amritsary, married.. had a job(becoz i dont want to eat for free) and I had the TOTAL FREEDOM OF Going to Golden Temple, listenning kirtan and doing simran at all times, basically being financially dependent on your family.... you dont get that freedom. ultimately leaving home wont make u r spiritual path easier... but yea it would surely put you in the middle of a big army to fight on and you have to be ready for that and if you are not ready then hunger , luxury comforts and all the pleasures of living in a material world will take you over. I dont think to myself that I am "leaving home"... ... but basically I am just trying to meet Guru ji with whatever way I can and try getting accepted. Its like someone would leave home and goto Guru Nanak (when He was in human form) and then stay with Him, asking for union with God.
  3. it takes me 8 mins for one ang i want to complete it in 15 days i am not fluent in reading punjabi, but i can still read it.. so i am reading it i npunjabi and then the english meaning beneath it. okay thanks i wont eat anything during the time or recitation.l
  4. actually krodh is genetically in me, my dad , uncle all get mad quite often. in the teens it was very high, now it is not so much. I only get mad if someone insults guru ji, but now I am getting over that also and I am controlling it now.
  5. from the biography of sant attars singh jee.. Khalsa is the one who has realisec the atam-ras(Self-realization, God realization) and there is no difference between such a person and khalsa.
  6. yes yes  lol just wonderin when these teenages will wake up from these false love type of things.
  7. Whats a sehaj path? akhand path? khand path? I know there is one path which involves keep reading sggs non-stop and it is usually completed in 3 days.. 24 hours a day and akhand path is usually with breaks. Are you allowed to eat anything while u read sggs ONLINE on sikhnet.com?
  8. IDEAL Singh, Family and other things sholdnt bother you if u really want to make your goal accomplish. You know you got a mission and your mission is to meet Guru Ji. You have been given this human body.. you should try all your best to cross-over the world-ocean and not spare a single effort. Its like a person who wants to get A's in exams... and he gets up real morning and even sacrifices his meals and sleep to get it. Dont think of it in a way of "leaving home" or "living in home" .. just think of it in a way that you GOTO meet Guru Jee. Have you hread the story of summan-mussan. I will someday post the full story, but it is a very heart-touching story. They are very poor father-son.. and in that the son gets beheaded by the father .. both willinly doing it.. to steal some money to do seva for the Guru, becoz they didnt have money and htey were so desperate to do seva. Well just goto proudtobesikh.com and click on shabad by artist and click on balwinder singh rangeela and listen to "wich duniya sev kamaiyee" here is the link : http://www.proudtobesikh.com/khalsa/ptbsJu...aspx?alphabet=b
  9. Khalsa Soulja, I was in the kitchen and had just returned from the Gurudwara and I was jokin with my roommate calling him "kashmiri kuta"(kashmiri dog), becoz he never cleans up his kitchen and is very dirty and in the meantime he was joking with me saying that I should stop going to the Gurudwara, since I am not learning good things. Later he went to his room and I was not able to hear him. The third person C standing mid-way said to me that he called the Gurudwara a prostitute center and it made me really angry and I went in the room and I slapped him first hard and then caught him by th eneck and threw him on the floor.. the room lamp smashed against him and broke and i punched him, he caught my beard two times and tried to catch my kesh , jura and I lost my kangha even, later I caught his neck and squeezed all my power into it and he was terrified. .... later I left him. After a few hours I came to know that he only jokingly said "Instead of going to the Gurudwara u should goto prostitute center." This guy is kashmiri muslim and they keep saying such bad things... ... but then i dont care anyone who says anything to me,, but I thought he said something about gurudwara which he didnt. I even in the past got real mad at someone who was making fun of the 'fateh' when I use to bring them langar. In anycase I am not gonna get mad now on these things if anyone insults my religion. Regarding catching my beard and kesh.... I listenned to Jap Ji Sahib during nitnem.... and then... I felt it is just wrong to beat up this guy even for that.. and i forgave him. After the beating he started reading namaaz and is reading now also.
  10. Have u read the Full SGGS.. i am about to reading it before i leave to harminder sahib for good. I have decided to leave home and see you off guys.. not sure when.. but i will update on this more, basically to practice more simran. I iwll be staying there only. Would like to have advice from u guys also on this.
  11. actually it was a mistake, my third roommate who wanted to have fun came and told me that this guy called Gurudwara a bad place(i dont want to say what)... but later I came to know.. that He didnt ant it was a lie and he was basically joking with me and teling me to goto that place and was not relating it with the Gurudwara. I didnt listen and I beat him up, but this third roommate wanted to have the masala.. so he made us fight. Well, I forgave the guy i beat and he forgave me too.. and we are back frieds.. but this guy who lied will get punished in the court of lord also i am not going to raise my voice again if someone makes insulting commentso n Guru sahib or religion. Its not right, my conscience doesnt make me feel good after i get angry or i do something bad. we should just ask Guru sahib to bless them and give them some mat(gyan , knowledge of understanding) Sukhasingh is wrong and he is only quoting sant jarnail singh in that, I think if I am right, but not sure
  12. too add more this guy pulled my beard and tried to catch my jura. It made me red hot with anger. I wnted to kill him to death, but I didnt. Now I am in control. .. i shouldnt have beat him up. Sukhasingh is quotin Jarnail singh actually there.
  13. Hello today I beat someone up. I thought he said "Gurudwara is a randi khann.." but actually he was jokingly saying "You should goto a randi khanna instead of the Gurudwara." ..... I beat him up real bad today, there are marks on his body. I want to know what we should do if someone say bad insulting things about our religion? and wether it was oka I beat him up. How do i remover the karma of doing this bad thing? I have a hot temper
  14. Mugermach, I dont know but I want to remain in the rehat and do as has been told. Kirpans should be worn in the gatra.. all amritdharis wear that way.... and all should alike and plus it should be a kirpan thta should be accepted by the sikhi... not a ninja or a kitchen knife. I dont know much about shasters, but I do know that we kepe the kirpan to protect ourselves, when it comes to getting the job done.. if a kitchen knife is fine and so is my small kirpan with a not good enouh grip.. i can easily stab someone and can do the samething with my salai. I am not in need of a highly sophiscticated military type of knife. I need a 'Kirpan' ... and most Kirpans can get the job done. ... all I need is one of a bigger strenght, a stronger blade and a sharper one. Thats all. SB thats a nice kirpan, how much it costs? is it on sale.
  15. no those r not decent kirpans, especially that pirate knive and those j martini kitchen knives can not be used as a kirpan, i asked someone in the Gurudwara nor are those ninja ones which i showed u. You can have a a good sharp kirpan and a pointy one which can still do the job and is good for personal safety. Kirpan also has other needs, like karah parshaad, and is part of khalsa kakkar. Guru Gobind Singh ji also used gatra, u see this ancient paintings.
  16. I will buy the 12inch from sikhlink.net. The kirpans that mugermach showed ,such as j martini and those other ones are NOT acceptable as Kirpans to be worn by amritdhari ! !!!! So they are not accepted, moreover an amritdhari should wear kirpan in the gatra !! no western style ..
  17. Tell me about these lethal weapons http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...bayphotohosting http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...&category=20271 http://www.1strateknives.com/mondag.html http://www.1strateknives.com/horheaddag.html http://www.1strateknives.com/blugemmondag.html Please advice me on these weapons and if they are suitable as kirpans
  18. What kind of a kirpan you keep mugermach? It looks interesting.. but how big is it.. and is the blade strong enough to not get broken. Also, I live in the USA... dong think they are going to send it here. How do you fit that in the gatra moreover? Moreover they are knives not daggers? whats the difference :x they look like knivs for hunting fish to me.. not for use against humans. What do you think of a rambo dagger?
  19. Kangha has to be of wood and made to fit in your hair and no kachere can not be cotton boxers.. It has to be a nala type, white color.
  20. The size of the kirpan I posted is more than 12 inches.. so I guess size is not a problem. yes they are sharp.. pretty good and neat, the only thing is that I am not sure if it has to be sarbloh or not.. we need to discuss more on this. what do you think the quality of kirpans on this site : http://www.sikhlink.net/Store/Kakkars.asp There is one 12inch kirpan. Sarbloh kara's are almost extinct.. but I wear one. Guru Sahib even said to use sarbloh utensils to cook food and eat in. Baba Nihal Singh talked about it. Well in anycase, most kirpans these days are not sarbloh. My kirpan is about my hand size.. maybe 6 inches. the handle is to short for a good grip and the blade is not sharp , but it is has a good sharp point. I am looking for some real leathal kirpan.
  21. I want to buy some real good quality kirpan, plz tell me about this one, would it be accepted as kirpan. see this site : http://www.1stamericanninja.com/247165.html and http://www.1stamericanninja.com/247209.html they are pretty nice ones and other nice ones too.
  22. plz plz plz can someone tell me more about sant baba harnam singh rampur khere wale !
  23. I listenned to katha of Baba Harnam Singh Rampure Khere wale. He is wonderful and very beautiful. The humility, compassion can be noticed in his voice and how he lost his haumai. Hetalks about how Guru Ji only cares about the rehatdhari sikh and how only a rehatdhari sikh can enter the feet of Guru Sahib. I wish to read more about this great school.. please provide more detail.
