If You Hate Your Life, Then Change It By Judi Singleton Few days ago, I noticed that my car had been using a lot of gas. I wondered if it was just that I was driving more in stop and go traffic. However when I started using about four times as much as usual, I really started to take notice. Where was it going? I usually used $10 worth of gasoline to commute to work; but now bill was $40/week. Either I had a gas leak somewhere or someone was stealing the gas from the car. I was not sure which. A few days later, while sitting on my back porch I noticed a puddle on the driveway under my car. That puddle had been there for a while, but I figured it was due to a leak in my power steering fluid. However, it looked a little too far back from the front of the car to have from a leak from the power steering. I poked my hand into the puddle and smelled it. Sure enough, it was gas. The discovery really scared me. I could have been blown up with the car! Leaking $30 worth or gasoline a week is rally a lot of gas! If you are losing energy in the form of, health, prosperity, experiencing bliss, or relationships, you have a leak in your system, just like the gas leak in my truck. No one is siphoning off your goodness. Your leak is in your system; only you can repair it. The purpose of your life is to expand your energy. How you use this energy is up to you. Are you increasing your energy or do you have an energy leak in your vehicle? Do you spend a lot of time wondering about life instead of living it? What is life giving for you? Are you doing those things or are you only doing what keeps your emotionally, physically, spiritually, and mentally dead? Do only what brings you life. Do not do what deadens you. The reason your life is not what you would like it to be is that you are doing things, that are not life giving. The answer to that is simple. So your job is to find out what is deadening for you and stop doing it. Instead, do only things that bring you life. If you use as much energy choosing to do life giving activities as you do to deaden yourself and used it for things you love what would you be doing? If you took the energy you are wasting on things that suck and used it for things you love, what would you be doing differently? When you do things you hate and resent, you die a little every day. These things may be things that our society approve of; but you do not want to do them so for you they are killers. For example, you might be spending a lot of time at church when what you really want to do is to work in your garden. You are giving away your time and power every time you make this choice. What is really important to you? Take a walk in the woods, get close to nature, and spend time with your family. Talk to your animals; they make as much sense as any of your human friends. Simplify your life. If you do this you are giving yourself the present of life. You may be very careful with money. I am not. So that is one place in my life I have an energy leak. However, what you give your attention to is more important than how you use your money. If you give away your time on this earth not doing anything you want to do that energizes you, you will end up in a big hole. (No pun intended.) Everything you invest your attention in, brings more of the same. What we pay attention to grows, whether it is fear or love. If we live thinking, "When I retire I will do what I want to do. Until then I will do this job that I hate." Watch out. Retirement comes and you have had a heart attack and never get to do what you want. So choose now the things you love and invigorate your life. You are the one creating your life. This is your life. If you don't like it change it.

Love without Expression (J-10) There was once a guy who was very much in love with his girl. This romantic guy folded 1,000 pieces of paper cranes as a gift to his girl. RAINBOW OF LIFE (J-9) Once upon a time the colors of the world started to quarrel. All claimed that they were the best. The most important. The most useful. The favorite. Green said: "Clearly I am the most important. I am the sign of life and of hope. I was chosen for grass, trees and leaves. Without me, all animals would die. Look over the countryside and you will see that I am in the majority." Blue interrupted: "You only think about the earth, but consider the sky and the sea. And so the colors went on boasting, each convinced of his or her own superiority. Their quarreling became louder and louder. Suddenly there was a startling flash of bright lightening thunder rolled and boomed. Rain started to pour down relentlessly. The colors crouched down in fear, drawing close to one another for comfort. In the midst of the clamor, rain began to speak: "You foolish colors, fighting amongst yourselves, each trying to dominate the rest. Don't you know that you were each made for a special purpose, unique and different? Join hands with one another and come to me." Doing as they were told, the colors united and joined hands. The rain continued: "From now on, when it rains, each of you will stretch across the sky in a great bow of color as a reminder that you can all live in peace. The Rainbow is a sign of hope for tomorrow." And so, whenever a good rain washes the world, and a Rainbow appears in the sky, let us remember to appreciate one another

The Power of Love By Fran Hafey If you judge people, you have no time to love them Mother Teresa How many times has a little one come to you after falling down, with a boo-boo and ask for you to kiss it and make it all better? Did that kiss make the pain go away or was it love? When two people are newly in love, they have trouble eating, sleeping and functioning because of "love." They daydream and float on a cloud with the feelings of love. Love can melt the meanest heart, calm a situation, heal wounds, change minds and give hope and peace to this world. That is the power of love. What has love done in your life? Do you know what real unconditional love is? Is it that kind of love that says "I don't care what color your skin is or what language you speak, where you are from or how rich or poor you are? I just love you." We don't always have to love the person, as we would a family member, but we need to love everyone with the loving respect they deserve just because they are a living, human being. We may not like the way they look, live, act, or believe, but we can still love their heart and soul. Unconditional love is not always easy. So many speak of it, but how many practice it? I find there are many things in our everyday lives we know are good for us, but we just somehow don't do them. For instance, taking our vitamins, exercising, slowing down, getting more sleep, eating right and so on, to name a few. Why does it surprise anyone that we may not love the way we should, to truly have a better life, filled with love and peace? I am sickened when I watch television or listen to the radio and I hear commercials about how diamonds are a sign of love and how buying one will make you and your partner happy and love will abound. That is so sad, that the children are being taught this message. Have you noticed how many months now have holidays where people are "expected" to buy gifts for each other? What is happening? Why do people think buying things or objects makes one happy or shows love? It can, only temporarily. I think its fine to give a gift to someone because you love them and appreciate them. But, it should be because we want to, not due to a Holiday or to convince someone to love us. I have many things around me that I like and appreciate, but people are much more important and showing them love with the passion we do for "things" is something many need to work on. Spending money and shallowness is not the message that needs to be shared about love. Love is not conditional. You don't love someone for what you can gain. We must learn to love ourselves first before we can share love with another. Many go through the motions and think they're loving. I know I love my family and friends, but when I truly found love for myself, my ideas of love changed and grew. Divine love is the ultimate love that we obtain when we seek true, unconditional love for ourselves and all those around us in this huge Universe. Divine love is God love. That love deep within our soul that we find when we reach the place where nothing matters, except love. The Divine truth, that we came from love and we must work and strive to return to love. We may have to live many lives before we reach that point where we finally find and understand, unconditional love. Love is not just a feeling, love is an action. Are you acting with love in your life, heart and soul today?

MasterMind of a Potter ( Joyce-8 ) There was a couple who used to go to England to shop in the beautiful stores. They both liked antiques and pottery, especially teacups. This was their twenty-fifth wedding anniversary. In this beautiful shop they saw a beautiful teacup. It was unlike any other they had ever seen. They said, "May we see that? We've never seen one quite so beautiful." As the lady handed it to them, suddenly the teacup spoke. "You don't understand, " it said. " I haven't always been a teacup". "There was a time when I was a piece of old, hard red clay. My master took me and rolled me and patted me over and over and I yelled out, 'Let me alone!' But he only smiled and said, ' Not yet.'" "Then I was placed on a spinning wheel, " the teacup said, "and suddenly I was spun around and around and around. 'Stop it! I'm getting dizzy!' I screamed. It's beautiful....I'm beautiful.'" " ' I want you to remember; then,' he said, ' I know it hurts to be rolled and patted, but if I had left you alone, you'd have dried up. MasterMind of a Potter (JOYce-8) There was a couple who used to go to England to shop in the beautiful stores. They both liked antiques and pottery, especially teacups. This was their twenty-fifth wedding anniversary. In this beautiful shop they saw a beautiful teacup. It was unlike any other they had ever seen. They said, "May we see that? We've never seen one quite so beautiful." As the lady handed it to them, suddenly the teacup spoke. "You don't understand, " it said. " I haven't always been a teacup". "There was a time when I was a piece of old, hard red clay. My master took me and rolled me and patted me over and over and I yelled out, 'Let me alone!' But he only smiled and said, ' Not yet.'" "Then I was placed on a spinning wheel, " the teacup said, "and suddenly I was spun around and around and around. 'Stop it! I'm getting dizzy!' I screamed. But the master only nodded and said, 'Not yet.'" "Then he put me in the oven. I never felt such heat. I wondered why he wanted to burn me, and I yelled and knocked at the door. I could see him through the opening and I could read his lips as He shook his head, ' Not yet.'" "Finally the door opened, he put me on the shelf, and I began to cool. It's beautiful....I'm beautiful.'" " ' I want you to remember; then,' he said, ' I know it hurts to be rolled and patted, but if I had left you alone, you'd have dried up. I know it made you dizzy to spin around on the wheel, but if I had stopped, you would have crumbled.
