www.RajKaregaKhalsa.Net Posted May 23, 2009 Report Share Posted May 23, 2009 Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh It is with great sadness that I must inform you, Giani Gurbachan Singh 'Hamdard', passionately known as 'Pita Ji' has passed away peacefully at his family residence on Monday 18th May 2009 at approximately 14:00pm. Gurbachan Singh 'Hamdard' will be lovingly remembered for his commitment to Sikhi through his endless Seva to the Panth along with Gian Singh 'Surjit', both performing and teaching Kirtan. Gurbachan Singh 'Hamdard' will be greatly missed by family, friends and countless Kirtan students. The funeral will be held on Monday 1st June 2009. Viewing will be at 11:30am; Guru Nanak Education & Sports Complex Khalsa Avenue (Trinty Road) Gravesend, Kent DA12 1LU Cremation will be at 13.20pm; Medway Crematorium Robin Hood Ln Blue Bell Hill, Chatham Then back back to; Guru Nanak Darbar Gurudwara Clarence Place, Gravesend, Kent. DA12 1LD I humbly request that all attend the funeral of Gurbachan Singh Hamdard so we can pray together as Sikh Sangat for such a dedicated individual who spent his entire life serving the Panth.
