One Oañkar, the primal energy, realized through

the grace of divine preceptor

Pauri l (Learning from conch — without merit)

It is said that after churning the unfathomable ocean, fourteen jewels

were brought out of it. These jewels are-moon, Sarang bow, wine,

kaustubh mani, Laksmi, Dhanvantari, the physician, fairy Rambhã, Kamadhenu,

Pãrijãt, Uchchaisrava horse and nectar offered to gods to drink. Airavat

elephant, conch and poison were distributed jointly among the gods and

the demons. All were given rubies, pearls and valuable diamonds. Out of

the ocean, conch came out empty which tells (even today) weeping and

wailing its own story that none should remain hollow and empty. In the

holy congregation even listening to the discourses and teachings of the

Guru who does not adopt them, he loses his life uselessly.
