WJKK WJKF - agree. Superstition has no place in Sikhi. Satkaar of elders does. So when ladies sangat faced at weddings to tie Gana (red thread) from a centuries old tradition in punjabi weddings (in india & abroad) - what satkaar do we give punjabi elders, tradition and culture?

Do we merely tie the gana for satkaar of a century old tradition - as we do we many  modern day functional objects as wearing wrist bands (copper, steel), sunglasses, free trade clothing etc ?
