DHAHAN PRIZE ANNOUNCES 2021 Short List FOR BEST PUNJABI FICTION
The Dhahan Prize founder Barj (Barjinder) S. Dhahan and Dr. Sadhu Binning, Chair of the Advisory Committee, are pleased to announce the 2021 Short List. Following this announcement one book and its author will be highlighted daily on the Dhahan Prize Facebook. On October 14,2021 the Dhahan Prize will announce the 2021 winning book along with two finalists, one in each of the two Punjabi scripts. Mr. Dhahan and Dr. Binning are grateful to the jury panel for their dedication, integrity, and professionalism in collaboratively selecting the short list and the three winning books from outstanding books of fiction submitted this year.

ਢਾਹਾਂ ਇਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਬਾਨੀ ਬਾਰਜ (ਬਰਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ) ਢਾਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਇਨਾਮ ਦੀ ਸਲਾਹਕਾਰ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦੇ ਮੁਖੀ ਡਾ. ਸਾਧੂ ਬਿਨਿੰਗ ਬੜੇ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਢਾਹਾਂ ਇਨਾਮ 2021 ਦੀ ਛੋਟੀ ਸੂਚੀ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਐਲਾਨ ਤੋਂ ਛੇਤੀ ਹੀ ਬਾਅਦ, ਹਰ ਰੋਜ਼ ਛੋਟੀ ਸੂਚੀ ਮੁਤਾਬਿਕ ਇਕ ਕਿਤਾਬ ਦਾ ਸੰਖੇਪ ਹਵਾਲਾ, ਫੋਟੋ ਅਤੇ ਲੇਖਕ ਦੀ ਫੋਟੋ ਪੋਸਟ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਅਕਤੂਬਰ 14, 2021 ਨੂੰ ਇਸੇ ਸੂਚੀ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇਕ ਜੇਤੂ ਅਤੇ 2 ਫਾਇਨਲਿਸਟ ਕਿਤਾਬਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਲੇਖਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਵੀ ਕਰਨਗੇ। ਇਹ ਜਿਊਰੀ ਸਮੂਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਵੀ ਤਹਿ ਦਿਲੋਂ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਬੇਹੱਦ  ਮਿਹਨਤ, ਇਮਾਨਦਾਰੀ, ਨਿਰਪੱਖਤਾ, ਲਗਨ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਕੀਮਤੀ ਸਮਾਂ ਲਾ ਕੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲ ਵਿਸ਼ਿਆਂ, ਗਲਪ ਦੀ ਡੂੰਘਾਈ ਅਤੇ ਕਥਾ ਪਰਸੰਗ ’ਤੇ  ਵਿਚਾਰ-ਵਟਾਂਦਰਾ ਅਤੇ ਮੁਲਾਂਕਣ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।
