Guest Posted May 11, 2004 Report Share Posted May 11, 2004 VahiguroojikakhalsaVahiguroojikifateh, I would like to know the orgins of our daily nittneem...like who first decided to have panj bani's ((Japji, Jaap, Saviaye, Chupaie, Anand Sahib) needs to be recited to have complete nitneem. Like when did it all started??? Was this above tradition was always been like that followed from guroo's time or this change took into place when sgpc was created??? As far i know Puratan Nihang Maryada always been distinct. They recite the following in the morning- 1. Japji Sahib. 2. Jaap Sahib. 3 Akaal Ustat. 4. Shabad Hazare 5. Chandi Di Var.
