The text on the bottom reads:

Nanak, The First Teacher was renowned for his inimitable style of spreading his message of peace, equality and unity through example. In the scene depicted above, he is shown challenging the might of a local mendicant turned tyrant (Vali Kandhari) who vented his ire by pushing a huge boulder down the hill to stop Nanak in his tracks. Today, the Gurdwara at Punja Sahib marks the place where, as legend has it, Nanak stopped the rumbling boulder with his hand.
